the best feelings

some things to incorporate in your story plot, or some things to imagine (platonic or romantic)

⇸ someone you love wrapping their arms around you from behind. you’ve never felt such warm, tight, strong love before. you wish it would never stop.

⇸ ^^ additionally: both turning towards each other at the same time, and then bumping noses. you two both laugh and you think to yourself that, this is it: this is all you need.

⇸ making that one person laugh, and then immediately breaking out into a smile afterwards. or, you try to hide the huge smile.

⇸ that feeling after ending a 6-hour text conversation with the person you can be yourself around (you don’t even notice that it’s been 6 hours)

⇸ finishing something that you've spent dozens of sleepless nights on

⇸ getting told, "i love you"

⇸ how all the air gets sucked out of you once something has been achieved

⇸ actually being able to enjoy waking up in the morning

⇸ ^ waking up in the morning to see that you aren't alone, and there is someone's arms clinging to your side. everything inside of you is filled with relaxation.

⇸ feeling the cold breeze after days of hot weather.

⇸ having someone help you put your shoes on (using their shoulder while slipping on your shoes)

⇸ gazing at someone, knowing that they’re yours forever

⇸ running into someone you like, constantly

⇸ unexpected meetings with someone you haven’t seen in a while

⇸ silence after a long day

⇸ kissing someone and you can feel all the love they put behind their lips. you feel it flowing into you.

⇸ looking back at old photos with your someone and reminiscing on how far you two have come. so much as happened since then, but the love has relatively stayed the same.

⇸ cats brushing up on your leg. cats laying down on you.

⇸ a dog following you around

⇸ inside the car with a good playlist. you know you’re gonna be entertained for hours.

⇸ being at the front of the line

⇸ “you’re my favorite!”

⇸ the graze of a person’s fingernails lightly scratching your back. you two are both laying down in bed with only the moonlight seaping in. this must be the most relaxed you’ve been in ages

⇸ saying a witty one-liner that makes people laugh

Was rewatching the end of the 2014 series and I thought it was interesting that they drew Natsu holding Lucy like this for the Phantom arc.

I’m pretty sure the only time Natsu carries Lucy in this arc is after she jumps from the tower, but that was piggy back. The only times Lucy is passed out, Natsu is not around. And the only times her clothes are messed up was when Gajeel was hitting her (in the anime), but she was awake and Natsu doesn’t hold her after.

Just thought it was interesting.

There’s also a bit of gajevy in the one for the Fighting Festival.

But trolls and dwarfs had been fighting for centuries. Ending that sort of thing took more than a handshake. It was just a symbol.

On the other hand...the world wasn't moved by heroes or villains or even by policemen. It might as well be moved by symbols. All he knew was that you couldn't hope to try for the big stuff, like world peace and happiness, but you might just about be able to achieve some tiny deed that'd make the world, in a small way, a better place.

fixating on one fairly irrelevant scene here, but I'm still fascinated by how at the burial scene tozer's whole thing is 'welp he's not getting any deader, let's dick around with the caulker's mate and the ship's boy even though they've just seen the lid of their buddy's coffin pop off like some kind of grisly jack-in-the-box, i'm definitely the big dog in this fun little group here, faffing around with the coffin means literally nothing because david young's already dead' and yet...he still takes the time to symbolically throw the first handful of rock dirt onto the coffin and doing the sign of the cross?? like he's being a very careless ass all the way through that scene, he says outright that david young's death rituals (ie fixing the coffin lid) do not matter, and yet he still participates in them. something about saying you don't care and then showing that you do. I am Entranced.

“I need to take some leave days two months from now.”

“Good morning to you too, Levi.” Erwin scans the paper. “For what, may I ask.”

“None of your damn business.”

Erwin’s eyes now glance toward Levi. “You’ve been different lately. Distracted.” He smirks. “A girlfriend in Trost, perhaps?”

“Tch, you’re delusional. So am I approved or not?”

“Approved.”

Levi turns to leave without another word.

“And Levi,” Erwin adds, “buy her flowers. Women like those.”
