Bandai Releases Tamagotchi Uni Version 1.3 Update
Another update is here for October! Bandai has released Tamagotchi Uni version 1.3 via an over-the-air software update. This update increases the Tamagotchi Uni fun by introducing a new features including earning 500 Gotchi Points from playing in the Tama Arena, adjustments to displays and effects for a smoother gameplay experience, and the new Tama Tree Watering game in the Tama Arena for October 2023!
It looks like Bandai wants to entice more people to play the monthly Tama Arena events. Moving forward after updating to version 1.3, you’ll earn 500 Gotchi Points by participating in all Tama Arena events.
Bandai has also made some adjustments to displays and effects for a smoother gameplay experience too, we do not have the details on this but we’re sure we’ll come across small things soon!
Lastly, the Tama Arena has been updated with a new game for October 2023! Previously teased by Bandai on social media, the new game is called Tama Tree Watering. The event will run from Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 14:00 JST through Tuesday, October 24th, 2023! The results will be calculated from Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 14:00 JST through Thursday, October 26th, 2023 13:59 JST. Then prizes will be distributed from Thursday, October 26th, 2023 14:00 JST to Thursday, November 9th, 2023 13:59 JST!
Tamagotchi characters from around the world will choose between team strawberry or team blueberry and compete to see who can water the giant Tama Tree the most! Use the water gun to shoot water at Tama Tree’s mouth. Participate every day and get a high score to contribute to your team.
How do you play? Once the game starts, simply tilt your device to aim at Tama Tree’s mouth. Press the “B” button to water the open Tama Tree’s mouths!
You need to water 1 time for small faces, and 5 times for the big face.
You can water 15 times, and if you run out of water, snap your device up to refill!
If you water the star, water will not decrease for a short period of time.
When Tama Tree turns yellow it’s bonus time, you can water Tama Tree as much as you want! Each day there you will see your score (first, second, or third place) with the Tamagotchi characters on your team you’re playing with.
You know the routine, you’ll need to play daily (starting at 14:00 JST) for the duration of the event in order to increase your teams score, and earn a prize for your participation, plus the winning team will a big prize!
How about those prizes? If you play all 7 days, you’ll earn the Tree Afro accessory, if you play 5-6 days, you’ll earn the Tree Prop accessory, and lastly if you play 1-4 days, you’ll earn the Tamaverse water accessory. Once the results are tallied up, the winning team (either strawberry or blueberry) will win 5,000 Gotchi Points! Don’t forget to visit the Tama Arena during the prize distribution period to claim your prize!
