I wasn't gonna yap about it here but I've been thinking about it a ton since I heard it yesterday so.. Gakumas made Juo Sena playable recently, she's the top idol of the school and also the student council president

She has been revealed since the start, just not playable until now. I always thought she was just the perfect rich girl council prez type of character since we didn't have much info about her, but I'm glad that I was wrong. On the lead up to her release they released some preview videos with one of her image songs, with a MV using the in game models

And the song is a BANGER, like I listened to it and was like "Ok I can see how she'd be the top idol, this is very good." I thought that when she released we'd just get a full version of this song and MV because of the previews, so a very important detail slipped my mind. When they're released, all the girls get a fully animated MV. And she did as well, and it was a completely different song too

And it was absolutely incredible. Me not expecting it, coupled with how great both the MV and song itself are, left me completely flabbergasted.. It completely changed the image I had of Sena. She's not just the trope I mentioned earlier. She worked hard to get where she is, she had a dream, an ambition, and followed her own path to reach it. But she's still human, she's lonely, has flaws, she doubts herself and wonders if she can reach others with her music and if the path she's on is the correct one. But despite everything she keeps looking ahead and moving forward, without letting her current position and everyone's praise get to her head Like, I don't even have the ability to properly explain just how good I think that MV is, it shot up to being my favourite one from Gakumas with no contest, it's just THAT good. And the lyrics completely changed my view on Sena too, to the point where she's my #2 in the series now. But anyway, if you got to the end here sorry for all the rambling, I just needed to get all this out cause I just kept thinking about it

Also, here's a video with the translated lyrics for the MV too, so you can enjoy that as well if you'd like. But please check the original MV as well, the animation is absolutely stunning and it'd be a shame to miss it

i want to try some other series before i dive fully into the other two i7 seasons but i did enjoy it a lot and i will definitely be going back to it at some point so dont worry
