It’s been a rough month, I missed Sparkstember but I’m still here :,) Just want to shoutout that random woman I talked to after forcing myself to go out and do something tonight. I went to listen to a friend play some music and she was sitting at the table beside me alone with a book, in her 40s, absolutely living life. We somehow ended up talking and I spilled my soul a bit. She said something like ‘you’re too beautiful to let some guy break your heart’. And I’m like, yeah. Perhaps. But I’m torn apart because I thought I found my soulmate (I was fully convinced I was ace/I could never ever open up to anyone before), even if some things didn’t click right. At the same time, thank you fellow solo restaurant goer :,)
