I've walked away from opportunities rather than having to make a choice in my personal, professional and lovelife due to to this indecisiveness.This even reflected how I played vidogames. In thousands of hours of skyrim, I not once went with the imperials because if I dont know what im missing then its not that bad. In thousands of hours of Fallout 4, Not once did I fully side with a single faction and eliminated the rest. I fucking hated having to make those kinds of decisions in videogames.I recently picked up the witcher and witcher 2 from the summer sale, because I wanted to experience the full story. What I wasn't ready for, was how the game forces you to make a HUGE decision, which would Drastically impact the next 30 - 50 hours of how you finish the game, as well as the witcher 2 because your save carries over. Now, normally I'd choose the bitch way out and look up in depth guides on what exactly are the consequences, pros and cons of each decision.Not this time though.Because of the pacing of this game, and with the help of a good couple of beers while playing through this section, Over the course of 6 to 10 hours of game time, you are met with MULTIPLE NPCs (scroll to 5:07:17 if it doesnt start there) literally telling you that you have to take a stand and that you cannot keep being indecisive (or in a nicer way "Neutral"). You are forced to take note of what is happening around you. The link I posted was just one of many.Eventually I decided that for once in my life I'm gonna make the choice. Yes, some shit happened that I wasn't expecting that made me go "damn, I chose wrong". But a lot of other stuff happened that was awesome and I would have missed out on if I didn't make this choice. And you know what? I realized that if I were given a third, neutral "Indecisive" option, I would have missed out on both of these awesome paths! Because sometimes you need to make a big decision if you want to see big results. If shit goes your way, great! if it doesn't, it is what it is.I repeat. It is what it is. I've had to make peace with not always being able to control the outcome of things, sometimes that means regret, other times it doesn't. And that's the hardest part I had to learn.If you've made it this far past this wall of text, I thank you for hearing me out. And if you didn't, that's cool too. I just needed to get this out into the world.TLDR: Spent my whole life missing out on opportunities because of my own indecisiveness. In the end, no bold revelation, or even grand epiphany pulled me out of it. But some very basic 16/17 year old videogame.Edit just for fun: As a testament to my indecisiveness, Witcher 1 doesn't overwrite your quicksaves, it created a new one each time. I logged a total of around 1400 quicksaves throughout the whole of witcher 1 enhanced edition. Most of them for freaking dialogue options. The game would come close to lagging out when I tried to load a save, so I had to delete them in batches when they came close to 300. The Witcher 3 Update Adds the Best Mods, New PC Options, and More

While we’ve already gotten a pretty good rundown of The Witcher 3 update that will bring the hit RPG game into the next gen, developer CD Projekt has now provided a full list of patch notes for version 4.0. The updates aren’t limited to graphics – as we’ve seen, the Witcher 3 team has seen fit to add all new features, as well as some of the best Witcher 3 mods, into this release. The Witcher 3 4.0 patch notes detail some of the specific community mods that have been incorporated into this version of the game, including HalkHogan’s HD Reworked Project, which we’ve recommended for years. This edition also includes Denroth’s HD Monster Reworked mod, Immersive Real-time Cutscenes by teiji25, Nitpicker’s Patch by chuckcash, and Terg500’s World Map Fixes. CD Projekt also says it’s incorporated elements of Flash_in_the_flesh’s Full Combat Rebalance 3 mod, tweaking some of the mod’s changes and omitting others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBT2SP21f3Q Several key characters, including Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Ciri, and Eredin have gotten textures upscaled to 4K, so they’ll look nice and sharp on any of the best gaming monitors out there. There are some new environmental updates, including a portentous ‘grey sky’ weather type, new sky textures, enhancements to vegetation and water textures, mesh improvements, better visual effects, and updates to global environment lighting. PC players also will have access to a new ‘Ultra+’ preset, which applies to the number of background characters, shadow quality, grass density, texture quality, visibility range for foliage, terrain quality, water quality, and level of detail. If you’re using one of the best graphics cards, you’ll be able to use DLSS 3 to boost your framerate, too. The next-gen version of The Witcher 3 also features cross-progression, so wherever you are in the game, you’ll be able to pick right back up in this new version, regardless of the platform you played on before. You’ll need to log in to your account to share save information across platforms, and signing up for ‘My Rewards’ includes some in-game items: the Swords of the Nine-Tailed Vixen, the White Tiger of the West armour, a Dol Blathanna armour set, and a Roach card. The new edition also includes a new side quest to pick up in Velen, an alternate look for Dandelion and a Nilfgaardian armour set inspired by Netflix’s Witcher series, Chinese and Korean voiceover, and improvements to Russian voiceover. If there is a video you should watch today, then it’s this one. A Critique of the first Witcher game (and the first of three videos, with the other two expected in the next months) so thorough, thoughtful and humurous it’s as if you played the game yourself (I played the game, I can confirm that).

The Witcher 1 is a title in the franchise that’s often overlooked and put aside for its age, graphics and weird controls and combat. Those are all very valid points, yet it’s athmosphere and story are incredible (and not only for its time! if this got a major overhaul/would be redone and enhanced it could hold its candle to all other games published nowadays LIKE IT DESERVES DAMNIT I WANT TO SEE SIEGFRIED IN BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICS).

I understand many of you don’t have the time or resources (or simply the nerves) to play a game like this, so I would from the bottom of my heart recommend you watch this video (compared to like 50 hours of gameplay a 4 hour vid really is short, and I just binged it in one sitting) if you are interested in the game branch of the franchise. Though, of course, it has to be said: absolutely major Spoilers to everything apply. Also don’t get duped by ehhh certain showcased collectibles.
