currently thinking about the fact that louis is quite literally a musical prodigy. he literally taught himself how to play and even makes his own songs??? like who ever carved into that piano that he “sucked” is CLEARLY deaf or an outright hater to say that he’s bad. like the boy is talented and it’s not talked about enough!! like why is he treated like some kind of annoyance or that he’s just making noise??? like the piano scene with clem when he said many would say you aren’t about to hear music now. WHO TOLD HIM THAT??? i feel like his intelligence and talent just isn’t talked about enough cause he literally built these elaborate traps in the forest(lifting fucking boulders and trees), taught himself how to play the piano, and makes his own songs???? i think people who hate on him are just mad they aren’t as smart as him.

Robert Walser, a brilliant writer deeply relevant to our times, who spent the last twenty-seven years of his life in a mental institution, responding to visiting journalist's question as to why he was not writing anymore. In “The Walk,” his most famous short story, he describes a stroll through a rural landscape in the minutest of fantastic and tragically funny detail. Here he is, on that walk from Herisau to Wil, Austria, in 1939. At seventy-eight, he disappeared from that mental asylum in Herisau and later was found dead in the snow.
