“The world I lived in was so small wasn’t it” 😢 best episode by far. Philia getting a student was arguably the best thing to happen in her entire life. She’s finally realizing what I been screaming at my tv the last month. Just because your parents didn’t appreciate you doesn’t mean you haven’t had a massive impact on the world and people around you! Your sister idolises you, Grace idolises you, the maid and butler idolise you and Prince Osvald adores you! So happy for her.

Grace being a massive Philia stan is so cute. The way she hangs onto every word Philia says like it’s gospel has me smiling so hard. Philia doesn’t even realize how much of the ideal big sister she is to two girls now. I’d love to see Mia and Grace meet and just bond over how much they stan Philia 😂 Grace, as the youngest sister, can sort of empathise with Philia too over their mistreatment. Grace’s dad seems cool, but her other sister seem to ignore and not think highly of her.

Heart breaks for Prince Reichardt. He and Elizabeth situation reminds me a lot of an arc from Shiroseijyo/Saint Cecilia and pastor Lawrence. Wish they could’ve got a happy ending 😔

“If your parents won’t acknowledge you I’ll acknowledge all you’ve done in their stead.” Ahhhh Osvald is such a natural romantic I love this dude he knows exactly what to say and he’s so understanding of Philia’s trauma. You can tell he doesn’t want to be too pushy and wants her to slowly open up on her own terms which she did there by showing the most emotion we’ve seen yet!! Love this ship

too perfect saint is great its like "amazing! watch as this abused woman learns what it's like to be accepted for who she is!" & then the pov shifts to mia & the story goes "and watch how THIS woman reacts to learning the depths of her sister's abuse by learning to Kill!"

We got our first date already! Moving at record pace here. Absolutely amazing episode, blew the first two completely out the water. I already loved this show now I’m obsessed. Philia and Osvald ship progress, Mia finally learning the truth and planning her revenge. FUCK I need this injected into my veins lmao

First of all shoutout to the maid for setting Philia and Osvald up on a date, our girl might be a lil slow in matters of love, but he got her heart racing, got to see the town and experience a kindness she’s never felt before. I love how he’s so patient and wants to learn about HER, not just her saintly duties and abilities. We also got to learn about the likely impending demon realm invasion, I’m thinking this is gonna have something to do with Julius and the parents, maybe Asmodeus influence permeates to regular people and can turn them evil or they’re just pawns?

It made me smile sm when Osvald tripled the defense budget with zero hesitation because of Philia’s warning. She’s so used to being brushed off and just used as a tool this had to feel like such a relief and proud moment for her 😩 he’s such a genuinely great guy and leader for his kingdom. Even encouraged Philia to write to her sister awww I love him!

THAT ENDING. I’m so fucking happy Mia finally clocked everything that’s going on, took her a minute but I was starting to go crazy because no way as close as they were, she’d just take those excuses at face value. I feel horrible for her though because realizing your parents aren’t who you thought they were and blaming yourself for failing to notice your sister’s abuse has to be horrible.

The audacity of Julius to propose to her and then try to tell her to stop thinking about her sister, God I can’t wait to see what sort of hell she unleashes on him. It’s gonna be so satisfying seeing him feel the greatest ecstasy and then be betrayed.

NGL, I went into this series perfectly expecting a nice junk food anime (affectionate) but so far it's surpassing my expectations. I think what's really elevated is just in the second episode. Done by a lesser writer, Mia would probably be some gullible girl who believes the lies told to her, that Philia just up and left on a whim, but no; this girl is sharp, she knows something shifty is up and she is going to find out whoever hurt her onee-sama and make sure they regret it, while still maintaining her cinnamon roll status. I stan.
