May be a little early cause of timezones but HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY to The Sounds Of Nightmares!! How has it been that long already??

(Don’t mind how my Otto design always changes ;; she’s just a teenage girl who keeps changing up her hairstyle and she wants to hang out with the cool kids…)

Little Nightmares characters as Tinkerbell Fairy Talents! 

After speaking over it with @ciipher-arts (who knows more about the Tinkerbell movies than I do) With her advisement, I decided to assign talents via colorscheme instead of any other truer association with their darker original powers. 

I caught COVID this past week and sketched these out while I was sick in bed. It was therapeutic. 

*Mono's color scheme is a fight between olive green and brown depending on the lighting, so here I decided he'll represent brown.   *Noone, the last character, is from the Sounds of Little Nightmares. We don't know what she looks like outside of having a dress and a head silhouette. (And the silhouette has a purple background) So It's likely this depiction is inaccurate, but there were no other orange-schemed characters that fit the "animal" talent. Plus, Noone always loved moths as a child, so it may as well be her. (I'll make an official design page for her at some point, but I heavily based her design off of Jane from Peter Pan 2)

It's funny how all the children of this franchise (who have a name) have like... Really sad names-

Mono, Low, Alone, Noone (from "The Sounds of Nightmares")... All about loneliness and depreciation. Even "Six", It's not really better-

So, recently, I listened to the Sounds of Nightmares podcast (a little late, I know, but still better than never) and I have become obsessed.

(P.s. If you're wondering what the scrawls read, I was just speculating what hair-do Noone carries. In the end, I do think they're pigtails but I drew her with short hair because it's recognisable.)

Also side note, when do you guys think the podcast is set?

-The modern-day or perhaps sometime during the 1900s...

TSON Comic adaptation 2#

It's going much better than expected! I am very happy with the designs of the characters and with the studies I've been making... I thought I'd post some of the stuff I made so you can see it but I will keep some other things to myself👹

1 & 2 - Understanding how the children are drawn was relatively easy, but trying to keep the proportions consistent is a nightmare. A lot of them have MASSIVE hair and a tiny face, so I tried to reflect that with Noone.

3 - Otto will be such a pain in the ass to keep consistent... There's no other adult to take as reference for the face, but I think I have the body down!

4 - Concepts for the cover(s?) of episode one. I already made the draft of the first 14 pages (approximately 6 minutes in), so if I keep this pace up I should have the first part ready soon enough. I will make a Q&A explaining how I intend to divide the parts.

5 - My designs of baby Otto and Sisi! I went out of my way to make him look like Chicken Little. And a ginger. It's an inside joke.
