The Abilities of Mystic Knight Violet, Part 6.
Violet's aptitude with the Four Spirits is something that had no precedent. Not even the First could communicate with the Eldest Four, having instead to rely on newer, relatively weaker, Spirits.
To witness the passionate flames of Salamander, the furious gales of Sylph, the serene waters of Undine, and the powerful mountains of Gnome...
It was something out of a fairy tale. Remarkable in every way, capable of untold destruction, and yet in her hands it never resulted in such.
Thus we come to Violet's Ultimate Skill, a second Mystic Arte created by her.
Storm of Spirits. Much like Quadruple Giga, this skill requires the use of all four great Elemental Spirits, to be summoned into the blade and released by way of slashing. Unlike Quadruple Giga, however, the balance of the spirits power is not important. Quadruple Giga's power comes from a more balanced utilization of the Four's power. This technique instead utilizes the opposite, instead relying on the destructive power that comes as a result of the imbalance. After summoning the last of the four required spirits, the wielder lashes out with their blade and unleashes a flurry of sword slashes seemingly at random, before finishing with an all powerful thrust outwards which finally releases all four elements in an explosive flash. This technique was only ever used once, against Luminara, the Angel which guarded the Gates to The Heavens. When this technique was used, the Gates to The Heavens were ripped asunder, and the resulting scar in the veil was what Violet used to invade The Heavens during her crusade.

The Abilities of Mystic Knight Violet, Part 5.
As a Mystic Knight who was taught by the Four Elemental Spirits, Violet is otherwise capable of performing Mystic Artes that other Mystic Knights could not.
For instance, Violet is capable of utilizing the Four Spirits' powers with her Mystic Artes, able to summon Sylph to enhance her Aero Stab, Gnome for her Earth Shattering Dragon Blade, and so on.
It is thanks to this that Violet was capable of inventing her own Mystic Artes in the form of "Forgiven Rebellion's Flame Dance" (though she referred to it as "Furious Flame Dance" at first) and her Ultimate Skill.
We've already covered Forgiven Rebellion's Flame Dance, and unlike Quadruple Giga and Violet's Ultimate Skill, it does not require the Four Spirits.
Speaking of Quadruple Giga...
Quadruple Giga. The Ultimate Sword Technique, created by the First Bringer of Storms, one Ras Elaine Thorne. Quadruple Giga is a technique that requires a heart filled with resolve, something the First had in excess. Those with weak hearts and weak wills would be consumed if they attempted Quadruple Giga, a fact that was not lost on the First when she developed the move. It nearly consumed her. She, however, proved stronger, and with a mighty roar befitting the Girl who became a Dragon, Quadruple Giga was first unleashed upon the first Emperor of Inferia. Quadruple Giga utilizes the four basic elements of Fire, Wind, Water, Earth. The mastery of one element is irrelevant when paired up with the other three, and if one cannot harness the power of all three, the skill will ultimately fail as the balance is tipped heavily in that which they have the strongest control. By gathering the four elements into a blade, one can harness the destructive powers of nature. With a single swing, all is erased and returned to the void upon which it came. Ultimate Sword Technique indeed, it is no wonder it was sealed away and only ever successfully used by three people. One could, theoretically, obliterate a God with it.

The best part about being a Mystic Knight is I can absolutely imbue my sword with 'Cure' Magic. Cure has a cast time, imbuing doesn't! So in the same turn I can imbue my blade and WHAM!
Suddenly you've been healed for 30. Get healed, nerd.

The Abilities of Mystic Knight Violet, Part 4.
It was mentioned in an earlier entry that Mystic Knights require their weapon. This is true, for they cannot wield magic otherwise.
"What constitutes as a Mystic Knight weapon?" These are typically chosen at the time a Mystic Knight chooses to train in Mystic Artes.
The most common example is the two-handed blade, for many Mystic Knights focus on enhancing their own abilities.
It doesn't have to be a two-handed blade, however. As long as the Mystic Knight can wield it without harming themselves, it qualifies as a Mystic Weapon.
Violet's chosen Mystic Weapon was the gunblade.
Her original gunblade, emerald green in color and given to her by a dear friend, was quite the sight to behold when she wielded it in battle, even before becoming a Mystic Knight.
When it was broken in her first encounter with Gerune the Dragon God, she held onto it as a memento of sorts.
It was during her time in The Realm of Spirits that she chose the gunblade as her Mystic Weapon, and the broken keepsake was reforged into something greater.
Still a bright emerald green with a metallic sheen, this gunblade was capable of damaging Gods and other Divine Entities.
Which brings us to Violet's next technique, her signature attack, one of two that were developed entirely by her.
Forgiven Rebellion’s Flame Dance. This technique makes use of a Mystic Knight's "Fighting Spirit", in that the brighter ones desire to defeat the enemy before them, or protect the people behind them, the stronger this attack will be. Violet's "Fighting Spirit" is said to blaze so brightly that it puts the flames of hell to shame, outclassed only by her love for all things. Should she find a way to harness both her "Fighting Spirit" and her Love, there might very well be no way of stopping her. First, she imbues herself with the power of Fire. This draws out the inner strength known as the "Fighting Spirit", and amplifies it twofold. Then, she makes a series of wild, seemingly random slashes. Upon closer inspection, however, despite the random nature of these slashes, they are all connected in that when one slash ends, the momentum of it is used to launch the blade into another slash. After five slashes, Violet twirls her blade with a flourish, releasing the built up fire energy which ignites along the path 'drawn' by her sword slashes, only adding to the already devastating nature of this attack. Finally, once the last of the flames ignite, she brings her sword forward and stabs at the center mass of an enemy, the flames obscuring the blade and allowing it to slip past any defenses left standing. Developed by Violet Stormbringer herself, the purpose of this technique was, much like her Aero Stab, to end fights quickly.
It's said that Violet developed this technique in the middle of battle, against the famed Berserker Swordsman known as The Behemoth, as a way to counter not only his speed, but his hardy defenses.
Though she left that battle without her left arm, and barely able to stand, The Behemoth praised her nonetheless, and swore that he would be back to defeat the woman who managed to damage him.

The Abilities of Mystic Knight Violet, Part 3.
In a previous entry, it was noted that 'an ordinary Mystic Knight would specifically practice Artes that relate to their innate element (of the basic four) while only slightly dabbling in those of similar elements'.
This is mostly true, in that many Mystic Knights typically specialize in their own innate element, while only taking a few select techniques based around the other elements.
The more advanced Mystic Knights can usually be seen specializing in multiple elements, typically ones that complement each other; (Wind/Fire, Wind/Earth, Wind/Water, Fire/Earth, and so on.)
There are a few Mystic Knights, however, which will specialize in their innate element, as well as their 'opposing' element. Fire/Water is the most common example.
One who has mastered the art of the Mystic Knight, however, is one who is capable of wielding all four elements in tandem with each other and without one overpowering the other. Only a select few have managed to get this far.
There tells tale, however, of a True Mystic Knight, capable of wielding all Six Elements (Wind, Earth, Water, Fire, Light, Dark).
Such a feat is widely regarded impossible these days for Light and Dark Mystic Artes were lost to time, or are otherwise such a closely guarded secret that they're considered lost to time.
Speaking of opposing elements, here comes Violet's next Mystic Arte;
Leviathan Straight Slash. This one is one of the more complex techniques that Violet knows, because one of the prerequisites of this technique is that one cannot ever fight with rage or hatred in their hearts. The Element of Water represents serenity, a mind unclouded by emotions such as rage or feelings such as hate. As a result, this technique is extremely hard to use for someone such as Violet, whose fighting spirit blazes so brightly that it is often mistaken for hatred and rage, both by herself and her enemies. She does, eventually, get the hang of it, thanks to Undine's help. First, she imbues her blade with the power of Water. This allows the blade to move flawlessly through the air, as if moving along the flow of a river. Second, she sheathes her blade and closes her eyes, entering a state of Serenity. Finally, following along this flow with her blade, Violet unsheathes the blade and, acting purely on instinct, cuts through enemy defenses and lands a critical strike against her opponent. Employed in the midst of an enemy attack, it allows her to flawlessly parry the attack, interrupt it, or, in some cases, slice right through it. The weakness of Leviathan Straight Slash, however, comes from the fact that one has to be in a serene state of mind. This state of mind can be interrupted by any distraction, from ones mind wandering to being struck by an attack. As a result, this technique is best used when an enemy is focused elsewhere.
This technique was developed by The Great Spirit of Water herself, Undine. Specifically used in her battle against The Divine Dragon of Water Leviathan, this technique was used to cleave Leviathan in two lengthwise, putting an end to their struggle.
Leviathan has since mellowed out, no longer wreaking havoc upon humanity, though he still holds a grudge against them and Undine.

The Abilities of Mystic Knight Violet, Part 1.
Violet Stormbringer, a renowned Mystic Knight of Inferia, does not observe the traditional practice of Mystic Artes the way another Mystic Knight would.
First of all, nearly every ability Violet wields was once wielded by a previous Bringer of Storms, someone who held the title before she did.
Second, instead of being taught by another Mystic Knight in the ways of Mystic Artes, Violet was actually taught by four different teachers.
Whereas an ordinary Mystic Knight would specifically practice Artes that relate to their innate element (of the basic four) while only slightly dabbling in those of similar elements, Violet instead knows many Artes relating to each of The Four Elements.
This is a result of her being taught by The Four Great Elemental Spirits of Inferia.
Sylph, The Great Spirit of Wind.
Gnome, The Great Spirit of Earth.
Undine, The Great Spirit of Water.
and Salamander, The Great Spirit of Fire.
It is with these four teachers that Violet was capable of learning the abilities that she knows now, and eventually came to understand how Quadruple Giga worked.
Despite Violet's innate element being Earth, she took to Wind the easiest during her training; which led to the very first technique she'd ever learned, and one of her most used.
The Aero Stab. Her most basic technique, to be sure, but aside from her signature technique, it is one she favors. First, she imbues her blade with the power of Wind, channeling it into her blade as well as her body. The power of Wind allows her to move faster, which is what gives this technique it's trademark speed. Next, she performs a quick lunge forward, moving so fast that it is almost imperceptible to those untrained in the ways of Wind or The Sword. At the end of her lunge, she brings the tip of her blade forwards and downwards(or upwards if her opponent is taller than she is) and makes a stabbing motion, typically aimed at a vital point such as the neck or her opponents dominant arm. This technique was made for ending fights as quickly as they started; either by incapacitating the enemy or outright slaying them.
Originally, this technique was developed by the Third Bringer of Storms, who despised fighting merely because it got in the way of doing his favorite activities; namely napping and solving complex mathematical equations.
As a result, he came up with this technique after a mistake in which he accidentally channeled his Wind Magic into himself and discovered that doing so granted him physical speed beyond his wildest dreams.
He applied this speed the next time he fought, and the results far exceeded his expectations. His fight had finished just moments after it began, with one stab to each opponents neck and not a single scratch on him.
He passed this knowledge down, and even wrote it on many a scroll. It is one of the more simplistic Mystic Knight Techniques, as it is the first that many learn during their training; but it is also the hardest to master.
