Persona: Green masterpost

Will I come up with a better title? remains to be seen.

General Info:

This started out as a personal 6 idea thing before quickly spiralling into its own thing. Now I have way too many ideas and way too many drafts on AO3 to not post about it on here.

Persona: Green follows dual Protagonists Kouki and Miyuki on an adventure through the sea of souls, an endless field where the dreams of the public manifest in the form of dungeons, and where the day and night cycle of the plane itself seems to affect the fortunes of people in their day to day lives. Something is also forcing people to become trapped inside their dreams, and the dream team (Miyuki: we are NOT calling it that. Kouki: I think it has a nice ring to it. Miyuki: I will END YOU.) are working within their power, which is pretty strong after they awaken to their personas, to stop it. Joining their cause are various quirky zany characters like Safie, a “benched” velvet room attendant, Nenji, an unconfident loser who dreams of having the world in the palm of his hand, Shin, a quite young man terrified by the prospect of his life changing, Yoshie, a romantic dreamer with an inner demon so terrifying you almost feel sorry for the shadows she takes it out on, Tsuneko, a young woman with chronic fatigue who finds solace in her lucid dreams, and Johnny, a guy utterly convinced he’s the coolest cowboy in the… east. Also a doctor and prosecutor both so unprofessional it seemingly breaks the laws of reality, and Takuto Maruki because this does take place in the persona world and he fits really well I swear. He’s only a social link though don’t get your hopes up.

All of his ultimate persona being supercharged besides Satanael, Maria and Vohu Manah though what if and this is pretty dumb he gains a new persona? Since it’s a dream world and Takuto Maruki’s Persona is Azathoth what about Cthulhu? (Of The Fool arcana. Or perhaps the Dreamer arcana but that perhaps is too on the nose.)

Oh damn, that sounds badass as hell, I love it. Although, when they were revealing the third tier personas, I always thought that Cthulu should be Futaba's final Persona. But, y'know, Al Azif is cool too.

Persona 5 Royal Finale: Take Off Your Mask

No matter what it may cost in the end, WE WILL TAKE BACK OUR FUTURE!

The time has come. Akechi was never alive...the one who was with the team all thise time....was a product of Ren’s desires given form by Maruki. 

Yet Akechi still chose to stand up against it all. Not wishing to be controlled by anyone.

The Phantom Thieves of Hearts finally take on The Dreamer Takuto Maruki, and despite how hard he fights...his dreams are nothing more than distortions...and he loses in the end.

Choosing to end his life...he’s saved by Joker in the end. And he’s able to start his life aknew.

Ren is arrested however, as normally that’s where he is meant to be. And thanks to the efforts of the rest of the team, along with people Ren got close to...he was able to be freed.

But...every member of the Phantom Thieves has deicded to move on. 

Ryuji is moving out of Tokyo to begin Rehab, and try to run in a track team. 

Ann is going to study abroad.

Makoto and Haru are starting college.

Futaba is going to high school. 

And Yusuke will keep pursuing his art.

Despite this, everyone vows to meet up once again. As no one can break the bonds they formed.

But as Ren and Morgana board the train back to his hometown...he catches a glimpse of someone....someone he didn’t expect.

Goro Akechi?

As he looks at his reflection...Ren sees Joker. 

Perhaps this...shall only end one chapter in his Journey, eh?

3 After-Action Patch-Up: How does your F/O react when they see you got hurt? How do they tend to your injury?

Takuto’s a worrier, that’s for sure.  I’m kind of clumsy so I end up bumping my hips on tables and hitting my ankles against chair legs more often than I’d like.  If I make the littlest “ow!” in another room  he’s calling out to ask if I’m alright, and if it’s a scrape or a cut he gets antiseptic and a band-aid.  But he still makes fun of me for always bumping into things, since I make fun of him for the same thing.

4. Almost Kiss: What was your first kiss with your F/O like?

Embarrassingly exciting.  I’d been pining after him for years and had started to try and resign myself to the fact that it just wasn’t gonna happen and I needed to direct my romantic attentions elsewhere but.  Stuff happened and feelings were announced and reciprocated.

We’d been eating dinner at a bar and were walking around Shinjuku after we finished and I mean hell, just holding hands for the first time made my heart race.  Then he asked if it was okay to kiss me and I was smiling so wide and I felt like a teenager.  He’s a very good kisser.

5. Beautiful Dreamer: Who’s usually the first to fall asleep while the other stares and admires?

I’m usually up later reading this or that because I have a harder time falling asleep if someone in the room with me is awake.  Takuto looks really sweet when he sleeps, it makes me want to play with his hair.  But he’s not a very heavy sleeper so if I did he’d just wake up.

You and Rumi had a beautiful wedding, accompanied by your friends and family. Her parents cried tears of joy and Shibusawa was your best man.

You both bought a little cottage on the coast, make dinner together in the evenings, and hang your laundry out to dry on the clothesline. There, you have enough time to finish your thesis, and it's published to critical acclaim from the public and academics alike. Your methods are being used to help patients and rehabilitate criminals.

Rumi calls for him and he quickly snaps out of whatever thoughts he had. Maruki grins and follows after her.

There's a part of him screaming that this is wrong, but it is quickly silenced.
