GOD I love starkid so much they saw that idea of ‘hey musicals are kind of a strange scenario if you think about it. If people just broke out in song I’d be pretty weirder out’ and they fucking ran with that and now it’s evolved into an entire universe where the whole point is that the characters are fucked up and their world is fucked up and they all need to be traumatized in a different way every time we see them. and that’s exactly why I love starkid and their hatchetfield stories

went to the aquarium yesterday and saw some absolutely wonderful crabs. remind me to show you all the crab pictures later because now i must go to sleep. also not a crab but i saw a real live lumpfish!!!! very beautiful. very powerful.

I remember discussing Tintin casting choices with a friend from Germany and remarked how it was odd he often has an English accent in adaptations rather than a Belgian one, and my friend just replied "that's because Tintin gives incredibly strong English boy energy (derogatory)"

Here in the UK there's a lot of weird classism tied into accents. Today accent diversity and representation in broadcasting is actively pursued but in Tintin's time there certainly was a preferred accent to have.

come get your very own crab drawing!

hi everyone! if you follow me i'm sure you have seen me reblog lots of posts about what's happening in palestine. i personally don't have a lot of money to donate, so this is what i've decided to do:

if you send me proof that you have donated to any of the organizations listed below the cut, i will draw a silly little crab for you!

here are some examples and how much to donate for each kind of crab.

for only $1 USD a friend like this could be yours!

for $3 USD:

for $5 USD you can have something a little fancier:

if you donate more than $5, you can choose between multiple crabs or one even nicer crab! this can be sorted out on a case-by-case basis.

for donations over $30 USD, i will paint a watercolor crab for you!

the crabs can have no color, or the color can be your choice between pen and colored pencil. you can pick any color, i just used red and blue for these ones because that's what i felt like doing.

please give me at least a day to get you your crab drawing! i am in school and pretty busy, so there might be things that get in the way, but i will get them done as fast as i can :]

i did not post an example of a painting i have done because the ones i have are also on my main account and i'd like to try to keep them separate, but if you want an example just message me and i can show you! and if you do figure out who i am just don't go shouting it from the rooftops, okay?

i've never sold any kind of art before so please be patient, i'm sure there will be some things i have to sort out.

oh and in case you're curious about what his new body looks like, i managed to remember to take a picture of the sketch before inking! he basically has glamrock freddy's model design, except his legs and feet are more slender so he can be more light on his feet:

also... i did the math (meaning, i eyeballed a height chart with freddy's model and put the numbers in an ellipse calculator i found online)—freddy, and therefore moon here, has a bust size of 179.74 cm or 70.76 inches (almost 5'11" circumference).

writing muse: not thicc enough. the world record for the largest muscular chest is 74 inches!
