idk how much dark fandom talks about this or if the dark fandom even exists at this point, but I don't think we talk enough about how elisabeth literally raised her own mother-in-law.

i also think that noah's belief in paradise comes from what he was taught by his mother silja, which comes from what silja learned from elisabeth, and which comes at the same time from what noah shared with elisabeth.

I absolutely fucking love when I'm really into some piece of art/media and go looking for the cast and what else they're involved with, and the absolute pinnacle of this is when one of the cool things I find outlives my interest in the original thing

To be clear this post is about 2016 me being really really into Steven Universe (I still have the Peridot fan account on Instagram, not active of course lol) and I found out that Zach Callison (voice of Steven) has an absolutely amazing punk/alt/rock album that I listened to on repeat for years.

And, even more long-lasting than that but far more niche, Tom Scharpling (voice of Greg) has a long-running comedy/music podcast/radio show that is absolutely amazing. Seriously, look up Scharpling and Wurster on any music streaming platform and there's a ton of really funny comedy bits that they did in the early 2000s. If you like that, it's still active so look up The Best Show on your podcast app and enjoy! I really didn't expect my love of this silly radio show to outlast my love of SU but here we are

Turns out, not only does Hader do a great Eddie and Alex Van Halen complaining about former singer David Lee Roth at the 1996 MTV VMAs, but also he revealed that he had a text chain with Fred Armisen and John Mulaney where they roleplay as the Van Halen brothers getting into a fender bender.

“John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, and I had a text chain as the Van Halen brothers rear-ending somebody,” he tells Scharpling. “They had a press conference about the rear-ending, and nobody cared about it, but they assumed it was going to be a thing. They would be up at the [podium], and no one was asking questions, but Eddie Van Halen was going, ‘One at a time! One at a time!’”
