After watching Disney’s Once Upon a Studio short I decided to make a watchlist while working on Tftoml
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
Definitely Fantasia
Bambi
Fun and Fancy Free?
The adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (Instant Nightmare fuel, in a good way)
Cinderella (definitely Cinderella III: A twist in time!)
Alice in Wonderland (Still need to read both books again)
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
101 Dalmatians (And obviously Patch’s adventure in London still tears burst from my eyes!)
The Sword in the Stone
The Jungle Book
The Aristocats (Curious about the French Dub)
Robin Hood (My childhood baby, best movie ever T w T)
The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh (maybe?)
The Rescuers
Oliver & Company
The Rescuers down under
Beauty and the Beast
The Lion King
A Goofy Movie
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (probably the most beautiful one yet)
Mulan
Tarzan
Fantasia 2000
The Emperor’s New Groove (the most quotable one so far)
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Lilo and Stitch (so need to show my little sis it)
Treasure Planet
Maybe Brother Bear
I’m just watching Home on the Range for the memes. Gonna be worth it.
Chicken Little might also be for the memes.
Meet the Robinsons, it’s my generation’s Back to the future.
Definitely Enchanted, to refresh myself while I’m typing up my chapters.
Bolt, it hits hard today. (WGA and SAG AFTRA)
The Princess and the Frog (Disney’s first interracial and the healthiest romantic relationship.)
Tangled (It had the best storyline so far and no twist villain, I’m also not very interested in the 2D series since I’m planning out a rewrite)
Wreck it Ralph???
Big Hero 6
Zootopia
Moana
Finally Encanto, the real milestone of the 2020s people.

Completely on a whim I switched gears drastically and revisited the classic The Adventures of Ichabod and Mister Toad (1949). I always enjoyed this movie as a kid, but I think I actually appreciated it more as an adult. Isn't that the way it always goes with these old films?

Happy Election 🗳 Day fellow Sleepyheads! I hope y’all got out to vote today; I certainly know I did. But on to more important matters. For those of you unaware, last month marked the 75th anniversary of my all time favorite Disney movie 🎥: The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad. My dad and I watch it every year in time for Halloween 🎃 as part of our tradition. This movie is the whole reason why I love Sleepy Hollow in general.
What makes this movie extra special is that it’s adapted straight from the pages of Washington Irving’s original book 📖; word for word. So imagine my surprise when I saw this freaking awesome funko commemorating my favorite character: Ichabod Crane. He’s everything I already am: intelligent, charismatic, and has a hearty appetite. It also doesn’t hurt to mention that he absolutely kills it with the ladies 😎. He’s become such a huge part of my life that I’ve dressed up as him twice; once in college and for last year’s Halloween 👻 party. So it is with great pride that I wish this movie a happy 75 anniversary and too many more later on down the road.

An amazing video of an amazing new touch added to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in the Magic Kingdom. Thanks to Drew Smith for posting this look at Ichabod Crane.

For some reason Tumblr cut off the summary for The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad and will not let me upload the rest (could be a length of paragraph issue, a mobile issue, or both). If anyone needs the summary in order to understand my review I will try to fix it or write an impromptu shorter version, but otherwise I am just going to leave it posted as is.
Thank y’all for your understanding.
