Hi for the wholesome prompt. What if in the A Place for Crows (to rest their feet) the grandkids have an accidental sleepover with Pedro and the rest of the family finding them. Like before dinner they fell asleep in the garden when Pedro was telling them some stories or something?
After the latest chapter, we can all use some wholesome Pedro&family I think. Takes place somewhere far in the future. Not 100% exactly what you were looking for but I hope acceptable

"Has anyone seen Olive?" Mariano asks the gathered family. They are setting the table for dinner, but he can't find his little sunshine anywhere amongst the bustle and hustle of a family that seems to grow bigger every time he looks away.
He would ask his wife, but she is down in the village, running some last minute errant.
He could have sworn that he'd seen his little girl with her uncle last, but Antonio shakes his head and points outside.
"Abuelo took her into the garden when she grew bored with drawing. I think they are still out there."
Mariano thanks him profusely and goes to look for the two of them. Not even five minutes later he staggers back inside, clutching the doorframe and his heart. There are tears in his eyes.
Everyone immediately flocks to his side.
"What is wrong?" Julieta asks and raises an eyebrow when Mariano merely sobs dramatically and points outside amidst stammered blubbering
"Too cute… Can't… Poetic… Gotta write this down!"
The family exchanges knowing glances, very used to their emotional family member that is always filled to the brink with love.
They decide to go outside and look for themselves.
Just like Antonio has said, there are Pedro and Olive. Both are lying on the grass, fast asleep. Pedro is on his back with the little girl cradled in his arms, a content and peaceful smile on both their faces. Drawing materials are scattered around them and Pedro's cheek and forehead sport various colorful doodles which could either be flowers or ancient runes by the look of them.
Either Abuelo Pedro allowed her to draw on his face or he fell asleep first and fell victim to a little girl that spends way too much time with her creative and playful great-uncle.
Whatever led them here, Mariano is right.
The sight is too cute!
The younger generation 'awwww's and 'ooooh's obnoxiously to each other while their parents try to shush them so as not to wake the pair.
Alma is transfixed by the sight. Who would have thought, that she would ever get to see this? Her husband, spending time and relaxing with their great-grandchildren. She will never get tired of this. She will never take it for granted.
But she also knows that Pedro and herself are not getting any younger. They both tire quicker than they used to and they both hurt faster.
She knows that she has to wake him or he will be in a world of pain.
It's with a pang of regret that she crouches down besides them to wake him up, but it is a fleeting feeling. As he opens his eyes and smiles at her, pulling little Olive instinctively closer, she knows that this will not be the last time she will find them like this.
They are both getting older, but there is still so much to see and do and experience with new spouses and new children joining their family.
And they intend to savor every single moment.
They still have time.
