do you think wille will/should abdícate in the future or do you think he’ll become king one day?

The way this is worded I am 99.9 percent sure this is one of my friends trolling me, but I'll bite anyway even if it is, so strap in, because I have many messy, convoluted THOUGHTS. (in case it isn't sorry for presuming Anon and thanks for your question and being curious about my opinion)

The reason why I think this is a friendly troll ask is because you can't make this an or question and I have been very vocal about that in the past. I mean you can, Young Royals fandom is doing it all the time everywhere, but you shouldn't and yes I'll keep being nitpicky about that.

Why? Because In the context of monarchies and royalty the word abdication only applies to crowned monarchs and yes it does make a difference.

Let me use a (simplified) irl example: Harry didn't abdicate, William can't abdicate (yet), only Charles can and only now that he's king. Charles could have given up his rights to the throne in favor of William when he was still Prince of Wales, but that wouldn't have been an abdication, not if he had done it before becoming King himself.

The same is true for Wilhelm. Wilhelm can only abdicate after ascending the throne. If he's not king, it's not an abdication.

Yes I'll keep harking on about this until the end of my days, because while it might not seem like a big deal what word you use here, it actually makes a big difference legally and politically and on all levels if it's a crowned monarch and head of state formally abdicating or if it's an heir giving up their place in the line of succession.

So what we're actually all discussing here (most of the time) is should Wilhelm give up his place in the line of succession and right to the throne, and my immediate reaction to that (after no, never, but also he's sixteen, it's way to soon for any of that) is, how and in what way?

We're all rooting for Wilhelm and want him to be happy, of course we are. Wilhelm is my absolute favorite, but I hate this trend in the fandom that's romanticizing what everyone likes to call "'Wille's abdication" or abolishing the monarchy in general, because just because "it's right", doesn't mean it's in any way easily or quickly done in a "haha and now Sweden no longer has a monarchy" kind of way. That's not how it works.

Don't get me wrong, I'll never romanticize the monarchy or any other systems enforcing hierarchies and inequality, not in irl nor in any of my fics. Tax billionaires until they aren't anymore, eat the rich and yes, of course get rid of all monarchies, but you can't just go "lol no longer a prince", especially when like Wilhelm, you're still a teenager and can't make a properly informed decision about what you're doing.

Now before you all come at me with pitchforks, of course teenagers can tell right from wrong and make informed decisions, but Wilhelm grew up not only with immense privilege, but also extremely sheltered and in a bubble. Yes he started out his first semester of 'high school' in a public school, but I promise you the majority of his classmates' parents weren't plumbers or tax accountants.

Wilhelm has no idea of real life, not even rich people real life. He doesn't go to the store or buy his own clothes, and neither do his parents, nor do they randomly go to restaurants or whatever. Wille has never been able to go out in public without being photographed and noticed and everyone making a fuss, and he has no idea how most things work because there's always staff doing everything for him quietly and in the background.

If, and I say if, Wilhelm is sure he wants to step back from his role, then he should still wait until his early to mid twenties before doing so, because doing so is complicated and not something he can change his mind about later. Also he needs to learn about normal life first.

But I digress. Lets say Wilhelm does want to give up the throne. He's brought it up himself as a possibility when he was still desperately trying to get Simon back in any way he could. That still makes him a prince and a duke.

He'd still be a member of the royal family/house (I hate how that seems to be used synonymously in English). Not being king wouldn't mean he wouldn't be expected to become a working member of the royal family once he's an adult, except now there'll be a different monarch, one he'll have to obey within the family hierarchy, and chances are it'll be August.

Okay, so we take this a step further. Wilhelm gives up his rights to the throne and doesn't become a working royal, but that would mean betraying his family (his words) and stepping away from them. Not just his parents but everything he's grown up with and everything he knows. And he'd still be a prince and a duke.

Wilhelm will never be Joe Average Wille (is Harry now? Was Diana? and neither of them were next in line), no matter how much he might want to, especially not after S02E06 and I know I've said it before but I'll say it again: he'll keep being hounded, he'll keep being seen as royalty, and the only thing that'll change is who pays for his security.

(which btw the security thing is no joke, I know Wilhelm has no Diana levels of celebrity yet, but he's now the first openly queer modern royal and heir to the Swedish throne, there will be significant international media interest and it will stay, especially now with smart phones being able to capture his every move, and I'm old enough to remember the shit show that happened when Diana no longer had official protection officers and police protection and it was not fun, hounded is an understatement and professional 24/7 security is expensive and private security will never be as good as those who also have government/Security Service resources)

Also I firmly believe that what Wilhelm hates is not being royalty or the future king, but being forced into a role, handed a script and expected to perform without any of his own input.

When that changes, and it will, his attitude towards it will also change.

People argue that he'll be happier once he gives up his place in the line of succession, but I disagree.

I think he might have been happier had he been born a normal kid, but also maybe not because then he'd be a very different person, so there's no telling, but he'd always live with the guilt of betraying his family and heritage, and people, both well meaning and not, will never let him forget that.

Yes he struggles now, and I don't want to make light of his struggles, but every teenager struggles with their identity and place in life and things will be different once he's grown up and more secure in himself.

My 'ideal' fantasy solution were this irl would be for Wilhelm to become the last King and to work with the government to ensure a smooth transition once he retires, because abolishing the Swedish monarchy is complicated, but do I think that'll actually happen? No. Because that's not the kind of person Wilhelm is.

Also Wilhelm has been born to immense wealth, privilege and soft power, all three of which he will to a degree keep all his life no matter what happens.

Of course he needs to put his own mental health and wellbeing first, and I'm aware that he never asked for any of this, but he still has it, and with that comes a duty, and I think it'd be absolutely selfish of him to just take that wealth, privilege and soft power and to let the "common people" deal with the mess he left behind, because let's not kid ourselves, if he announces he'll give up his throne tomorrow and sticks with it until he's eighteen and beyond, do you really think people in power won't do anything they can to keep the system in place?

Kristina loves her son and wants what's best for him, even if she's not the best parent, but she'll not dismantle the system for him.

She knew what August had done, and she still would've rather had him as heir instead of even so much as considering anything else.

The Royal Court most certainly won't, and even if the elected government wouldn't be opposed to getting rid of the monarchy (if, there's a chance but not a guarantee, depending who is in power when that happens), that's not the end of it.

You can't abolish the monarchy and keep the nobility (edit: as it's been pointed out you can in theory, but my point is that the nobility won't be happy about it because it's a threat to them as well, and not just socially, and why would a Sweden in the 21st century do one but not the other, elites don't like changes in the status quo, even if at first glance it doesn't directly affect them, and this does), and there will be plenty of people, both obscenely rich and averagely well off people, who will do their utmost to keep their position of privilege.

It will not only become a matter of equality, Sweden is one of the most egalitarian countries in the world. It'll be about history and heritage and tradition.

It'll be a giant mess and if it wants any chance of succeeding, it'll need someone in power to actively work towards it, someone whose position the monarchists and traditionalists and conservatives respect, and that has to be a King Wilhelm, not a Crown Prince Wilhelm or a Prince Wilhelm or a Joe Average Wille who took his wealth and privilege and soft power and ran away because he chose to be selfish and leave a system in place no one was better able to do something about than him.

Now of course I'm once again talking about an adult Wilhelm, canon Wilhelm is still a teenager and shouldn't have to deal with or worry about any of that, and he gets to want to be selfish, because he's sixteen, but he won't always be sixteen, and when he isn't any longer his outlook will have changed as well.

Now we come to another point though, and that is that Wilhelm is not a revolutionary. He has his own head and a temper and doesn't want to blindly do as he's told, but he's not the kind of person who goes and topples a system.

I don't even think Simon is. He wouldn't mind the monarchy being abolished, sure, but I don't think he has the energy to become a political activist and to fight the system all his life, especially in a life without Wilhelm.

With Wilhelm it's different, there I'm sure he'll use the power he has for good. He'd be aware that he can change things and do his best to choose his engagements carefully should he become a member of the royal family.

That said, in time I don't think Wilhelm will mind being King, not if he also gets to be with Simon at the same time, and I don't think he should give up his place in the line of succession.

Finally, and most importantly, because we're talking about a TV show and a fic fandom here and not irl, I love playing with the idea of the Royal Court, the Swedish upper class, and all the conservatives and monarchists having to (figuratively) bow and scrape to an openly queer, headstrong monarch and the gay, biracial love of his life who also happens to be the son of a poor, immigrant single mother, because that is a very, very cathartic thought, and so yeah, King Wilhelm and Prince/Duke/King Consort Simon all the way, always.

That's what drew me to this show in the first place, a queer Crown Prince, and not a random queer teenager going about his normal life. There're plenty of other (great) shows for that.

Omfg - Okay I interrupt this dialogue here to rant. While I UNDERSTAND where Luke is coming from (hello Survivor's guilt mixed with existential crisis and a hint of depression) I was so heartbroken to hear this that I nearly yelled in anger. Of course he is going to twist everything in a way that he is the culprit here!

But let's look at this more rationally - the Score is shit. (Very rational right? lol). What I mean to say is, in the Score there is everything depicting in ONE LINEAR FUTURE. I personally always saw the future as something that is endless ocean of possibilities, of different routes that can be "taken" by making different decisions. The Score only covers the "main route" of this, the most likely one. And since people for thousands of years have been following the Score so faithfully, they have til now never deviated to a different future. Self-fulfilling prophecy and all that.

So say the Score is the main route - then not even that one is a great one! That one is only great for Kimlasca and its prosperity! Malkuth is described to be covered in war, Akzeriuth would have fallen anyway, and Asch would be dead. Who knows what would have become of our party members, or Engreve, or St. Binah, or who knows what else! Is that good? No.

And so far, we only know that Luke is not covered in the main future Yulia had seen. That could mean it's a good thing! We could steer toward a new future! Or at least he does not have to sit around and just take whatever the Score throws at him

archanea banner is actually not bad imo. yumina is cool and i actually kinda like the character development she has from being separated from her twin. i think her being somewhat younger than like. miranda/etc/ other young-ish royalty kept as prisoners of war is compelling, like shes trying to be responsible and act mature despite being a kid and also has the advantage of no love story angle like the others

castor/kashim is cool too, ive seen him around recently and im glad he got in. something abt somewhat pathetic/cowardly yet extremely understandable/relatable ghb archanea bois i am totally digging, w matthis last yr too. caeda and merric are by no means bad choices for the special variants, and im partial to those two + marth as a trio (main lord + soft mage boi + pegasus princess is so peak f e trio content honestly. my original f e parody thingy has that same dynamic as well), esp since the other banner characters are related to them (castor -> caeda and arlen -> merric). and arlennnn elreannnn im screaming in the club congrats on getting in!!! and thank u for coming home to me too. since yumina also came home and castor is ghb ive gotten everyone i remotely want from this banner lol. time to save for the next one

as far as the story chapter i want hresvelger and nidhoggr to prosper and thrive. esp loving nidhoggr for calling out the main characters on their bs. i know were supposed to side w them but honestly im siding w nidhoggr. this fucking child got away with torturing and killing people for years, and just bc she decides she wants to be buddies with her much-older crush from the country she invaded and slaughtered for years means thats all in the past if she believes or whatever. idk they just do not make these protagonists likeable in my opinion. like idk i think theres three basic tiers to protagonists. 1. i love them i want them to succeed. 2. i dont love them but i realize that they should morally overcome whatever they need to, or rather its the better outcome if they do. and 3. i hate them and the story would be better off if these shitheads were just defeated or whatever. and honestly a lot of gacha games are the third category.

for actual plot not to be that guy but i feel like it could be the first step in kasumiverse. for the first few real time months kasumiverse lays low, but in the wake of elanor's resignment from writing publicity for the royal family, in order to fill that void and assert askr/embla dominance for the masses, kasumi and a small squad are sent to embla. they accidentally meet nidhoggr, and kasumi realizes abt the healing power of yggdrassilians.

possibly it starts when the squad first run into eadgyth, a young askran whose parents were emblians, and is being treated like a figurepiece by the order of heroes' supporters. but shes just such a one track absolutely beethovinian classicaloid mind that she doesnt care, for she wants to solve every mystery and uncover the true secret of the worldtree.

kasumi and the others are sent, along with the still figurehead-treated eadgyth, to embla for the ceremony or whatever- eadgyth for publicity and kasumisquad as bodyguards for the order. the chapter 5/6? events happen and they run into nidhoggr? kasumi also learns abt hresvelger and the rest of the worldtree, which like. eadgyth pumps her fist like "i knew it!!!" kasumisquad book 5/6/8 be like "we picked up a weird child" whereas 7 is like "my sexy femme fatale friend got killed offscreen and im having a breakdown"

like considering her backstory is not completely revealed im still not 100 percent sure but honestly ivy is cementing herself really early as a contender for at least like a geisha/wuwu level "yea they cool" character. i like that (so far) her family in her backstory are actually loving and caring, and doesnt have a gender bias pitting one gender parent as evil and the other as a saint like other characters. i also like her past/present/future time theme too (tho after b7 i am wary. like it could be cool but it could be incredibly disappointing :/ ) but more to the point she brought the return of the king b skin antonio with her!!! b skin antonio + cn anni shop package ricky!!!!!! we eatin good bois. looks like music bois are back on the (metaphorical) menu. and with ricky finally getting non coa/mary related content in that like. postcard goods im rlly happy. also ricky seems like he could be a ghost too, considering his skin seems to be called ghost sail. posthumous anniv ricky is the dream honestly.

So, as @kosegruppie shared today in an Instagram post, the original fanfic mentioned in the SKAM season 4 script for the Evak windowsill/classroom make out scene is actually mine. So I thought I’d share a little bit about it here:)

Back in January 2017 (after SKAM season 3 ended and before the trailer for season 4 dropped), I joined a SKAM Facebook group and I’d regularly (like daily, lol) post little “scenes” in real-time like what are Even and Isak doing right now? At some point in January/February Julie Andem joined the Facebook group, which by then had about 1000 members. Andem would once in a while comment on a thread but mostly stay low key. In start-February (I don’t remember the exact date but before 12 February), I posted a little “clip” in the group about Isak and Even making out in an empty class room between classes.

Amaranth Part II – Lobelia

There’s about a billion different people trying to talk to you as you walk through the shrouded halls of the castle, but you evade them to the best of your ability. There’s no possible way you can give the answers to anyone because you don’t have any, not yet. You’re just as far in the dark, wanting desperately to climb out of the deep hole everyone else has fallen into.

Walking into the dark chamber, you sigh a little as you spot Jimin and Taehyung standing readily by your assigned seat. Namjoon walks past you, heading toward some of the other higher ups to likely get some more information before the whole thing starts. You’re thankful he handles things like this for you, it can get old fast talking to ancient pretentious men. It’s one of their favorite hobbies to talk down to you, being a young woman of power apparently frightens them greatly.

“And where have you been, flower?” Jimin’s voice is sickly sweet, but his sharp eyes and flared nostrils instantly give away his disposition. You sidetrack at him first to sit down, placing your head in your hand before looking at him directly.  Glancing over to Tae, he gives you a look that demands answers. There’s really is no reason to lie, so you decide not to.

“Namjoon and I went out for breakfast and met up with Jungkook. Not a big deal.” Jimin scoffs as Tae narrows his eyes, both displeased with the answer. They always get a little cranky when you go out without them, especially Taehyung. They take their jobs as your guardians very seriously, but it’s not like people are trying to assassinate you left and right. Your advisor makes his way back over, sitting down by your side and laying out some of the notes on the situation. It doesn’t look like much, and it worries you a bit. Why would the call such a meeting without any evidence of what’s going on?

Sitting at the head of the room are the council, three people that help your uncle rule the land. It’s customary for them to hold meetings when the King isn’t present, and apparently, he’s busy as of right now. Not a surprise really, he always seems to be doing something when he’s needed most. The room starts to settle as the council rise up from their seats, cloaked slightly as the light from the chandeliers fade from the room, elemental orbs flickering a soft glow to fill in the shadows. I would almost be pretty if the air in the room wasn’t suffocating.

 “Welcome all. Let’s get started… To be frank, we have a huge issue on our hands. As you’ve probably all heard, there’s a mystery illness plaguing our lands.” By the voice you can tell it’s Grekka, a kind man but also stubborn to a fault. You’re thankful he has a soft spot for you because you can’t help but to challenge most people’s judgment a majority of the time. Of course, it’s not like they can do anything to you, you technically have the authority to strip them of their status if you so please.

“We’re essentially in the dark. No one has been able to figure out how it spreads.” Sheel speaks up this time, one of the crankiest men you’ve ever met in your life. He looks like he’s a billion years old and acts the part. You’re one hundred percent sure he hates you more than anything in the world but that’s okay, you feel the same. The room booms with voices, people frantically talking about what they know or what they’ve heard. People are already asking questions and the council tries desperately to calm them. Namjoon leans in slightly, closing the space between you to whisper into your ear.

“I can already tell this isn’t going to go anywhere fast. Just try not to fall asleep this time, hm?” Pouting a little, you nod your head as he chuckles and continues to pen down notes. Jimin shifts at your side, looking bored and ready to take off as he picks at his nails. Glancing over at Tae, he stands like a statue, gaze fixed forward with his arms crossed over his chest. Truthfully, you could have all gone out to the garden instead, no one would have really missed you. Picked some flowers…. Had a picnic maybe...? What a waste of a beautiful day.

“Quiet down please… Thank you. We also don’t know where it comes from. Whoever crafted up this abomination doesn’t want to be found.” Islel’s soft voice surrounds the room, their voice coming out gently against the crowed. They never want to be here, never really wanted to put their voice out there. They fit the definition of a vamp quite well, avoiding people at all costs. It’s a curious thing, how they managed to get in the position they’re currently in.  You share the same inclination, absolutely loathing having to attend these meetings. Everyone acts like a hard-ass and refuses to try and understand other people’s sides.

Losing all interest in what they’re saying, you notice that Jimin’s wearing a pretty skirt made out of a sort of thin material. It’s almost like silk, but lighter and sheer against his skin. The Fae have such different ways, though Jimin never shies away from you questions. Not thinking too much of it, you grasp at his leg and play with the material, gently rubbing your hand over it. It feels almost like a cloud, a jumping cloud as Min flexes his thigh a few times.

There are too many pieces missing at this point, too many unanswered questions about this “illness”. No amount of talking is going to make any new information come to light. Jimin pats your head in response, used to your antics and entirely understanding the boredom. You’re only drawn out of your stupor because Namjoon flicks your arm delicately with his pen. You swat back at him, quickly poking his dimpled cheek as he attempts to conceal his smile.

“… think we need to send someone to go visit him. It’s the only way.” Visit who now? You gaze on in confusion and Namjoon sighs, continuing to jot down notes for you to peruse later. You cringe a bit, mouthing a sorry as you try to tune back into what’s going on. You usually try your best but today you have about zero gumption to do so, thinking about how Jungkook seemed dispirited by you leaving.

 “Well, who shall we send? Does anyone here actually want to visit the Dark Mage? Yoongi isn’t exactly pleasant to be around.” You’ve never met the Dark Mage personally, only hearing whispers of him around the castle. He almost seems like a folktale to the people of Florette, wandering the land as a ghost. He walks in shadows… Perhaps you can ask him how to do the same sometime.

“I say we send the princess. She could use the experience, learn a thing or two about diplomacy.” You snap your head up, the three men in your entourage doing the same. They wanted you to leave? Sometime is now evidently. Well, if this isn’t a blessing in disguise you don’t know what is. It’s been suffocating recently around the castle, so this is your golden opportunity for some freedom. You hum a little as if in though, but already know your answer.

“I’ll go… but I’m taking who I want. I will also be doing things my way, if I’m to do this then I should be able to handle the situation as I please.” There’s silence for a while, the council considering your offer. You know it’s a desperate time and that you shouldn’t be obstinate, but you will not deal with some random douche-canoe they try to send with you. There’s a tiny sigh before Islel speaks up.

“That is fine, what exactly are your parameters though?” You think for a second, considering your choices carefully. As much as you want to ask Namjoon for his opinion, you opt out of doing so. A good number of the people in this room will use anything they can against you, including indecisiveness, a terrible trait for a ruler.

“I’ll be taking my advisor Namjoon and my guardians Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook. We will take a few days to prepare before we set off on our journey, there’s a number of things that need to be put into order.” You can hear them start to talk amongst themselves, Jungkook’s named being spoken more than once. You’re not shocked, they seem to hold some disdain for him. Smiling, you sit back in your seat... Good. Honestly, you’d like to just sneak off with Jungkook but that would never happen. Not again anyway. You remember fondly leaving with him last summer after bamboozling the people around you, sneaking completely out of the capitol and to one of the most beautiful beaches you had ever seen.

The sand was soft on your feet and the stars shined like crystals. Sure, there was beauty at home but the idea of just running and being free was arousing. Many see Jungkook as a bad influence for encouraging you to do such things, but you couldn’t deny it more. He’s what makes you feel the most alive a majority of the time. You had used all the skills you possessed at the time, making it unbelievably hard to track you and Jungkook alike. After a few days it faded though, and you were found out by your guardians pretty quickly after that. Ah, the hell you faced…

“Do you have to bring the boy? He’s not reall-“Cutting Sheel off instantly, you try you best to refrain from telling him to fuck off. The old bag really likes to try and cut corners. Instead, you explain that as Princess of Florette, you can do whatever the hell you want in the nicest way possible. Islel speaks back up after you finish, clearly wanting to try and finish things off quickly.

“Fine, we find these circumstances agreeable. Please leave as soon as possible and communicate when you are leaving with a general plan. We expect you to make contact with the Dark Mage known as Yoongi and talk to him in length about the issue of this illness. If anyone has answers, it will be him.” You nod along as they speak, wanting nothing more than to get out of this damn chamber. It’s stuffy and starting to smell like sweat and apathy.

“Dismissed!” With that there’s near madness again, people flying out of the chamber as quickly as they can. You wait back, biting at your lips as everyone else files out of the room. Namjoon begins to get all of his documents in order, the neat handwriting on the papers still slightly damp from the black ink. You had tried to convince him a million times to just use a laptop for longer meetings like this, but he never wanted to. Whatever floats his cute little boat. Taehyung cracks his neck as he turns toward you, small smile on his face. In turn, Jimin flutters his wings, the opalescent extremities striking brilliantly against the light.

“Well, that was fucking boring.” You snort in a rather unladylike manner but agree fully with Taehyung. All they really seemed to talk about was shit that everyone else already knew. If anything, this seemed to be a guise to get you to take on the mission of meeting with the Dark Mage. It’s amusing to think that he’s so intolerable that no one else really wants to try and fetch him. You decide to ask about it, knowing that your guardians may have an answer. They have a number of years on you after all.

“Is the Dark Mage really so bad…?” Taehyung stays quiet, eyebrows furrowing as he refuses to answer. Jimin blinks a few times at him before humming a little. He sits down on the table in front of you, mischievous little grin on his face as he folds his hands on his lap. You notice passively that his nails are a pretty red color and that they match his plump lips. It goes well with the pale pink of his robes.

“Not really no. He’s just a little spitfire that one, always relatively grumpy and unwilling to talk to most. He and my handsome Taetae had a little disagreement forty or so years back and they haven’t seen eye to eye ever since.” You raise a brow, curious but unwilling to ask. Forty years is a long time to hold a grudge but if anyone can grasp onto one like a lifeline its Tae. You’ve seen him fight Jimin over something as mundane as dumplings before… probably the closes they’ve ever come to breaking up.

“It wasn’t a disagreement Minie. He tried to DROWN me!” You blink a few times, trying not to giggle at the outrageous claim. It’s funny watching Tae’s crafted persona crack at times you least expect. Standing from your seat, you pat his arm a few times to try and calm him while Jimin rolls his eyes dramatically, wings fluttering slightly.

“Yes, I’m sure it was hard for the sea creature to not be able to breath… oh wait…” They start bickering back and forth and you take the time to text Jungkook, telling him that you’ll actually be meeting him today to discuss some pressing matters. He gets back to you almost instantly, agreeing to meet up with you at the castles garden in your usual spot and sending some ungodly picture he got of Namjoon as confirmation.

“C’mon, lets go Joonie.” Grabbing his hand, you start to power walk out, trying your best to evade the madness that’s about to occur as your advisor trails after. Your guardians’ banter has become legendry over the years and there’s no way you’re going to try and come between it. Perhaps it’ll keep them busy enough to not notice you running. Slinking out the door, you almost make it out before there’s a confident call of your name. It seems you’ll never get any alone time with Jungkook… Sneaking off is seeming like a better and better idea every minute.

“Oh no you don’t petal. We’re coming with you this time; we’d like to pay our sweet little Kookie a visit.”

So…so, since someone managed to get my muse all Sailor Moon happy, I figured I’d take the time to complete a couple of design sheets I’ve had sitting around for, like, a couple of years.  So, yeah, while this seems like this might have been an undertaking, they were all pretty much done around the same time as when the Sailor Aeolus design went up, except the last two.  I just had been too lazy to really finish them to be put on deviantArt.

I mean, it wasn’t that much of an undertaking to begin with, seeing as they’re all basically the same design, so it involved a lot of copy/pasting.  ;P

The only thing that I did to them for this was change their casual designs from their school uniforms to actual clothes because I had the idea of taking the school angle away and just make the story take place on, say, Aeolus, but I decided that doesn’t work 100% with what I have planned, but still.  Maybe they don’t have uniforms?  

I also did up the last two recently, but again, it didn’t take that much effort.  I just wanted to design the main villain, and then figured I might as well toss in her teammate as well.

Sailor Aeolus/Aeris Anemone/Erin O’Colley – CLEARLY, I didn’t do much to her since the last design other than changing up her civilian outfit like I mentioned.  I still love the idea of her hair being magically altered so no one knows she’s actually the princess Aeris (and I like how Aeris and Erin sound close enough that it’d make sense for her to adapt a more common name in hiding), but then the Millennium Crystal negates the magic and reveals the Aeolian royal family is quite alive and well.

Basically, when Aeris was young, her planet was attacked by the previous Sailor Nemesis, who did a hell of a lot of damage before the previous Sailor Aeolus (Aeris’ mother) faced her down.  The explosion that ended the fight ended Nemesis, and the common belief was that it ended Aeolus as well.  And since her family was nearby, they thought they had all died as well.  Aeolus took her family and hide them in order to protect them because of this, and the general idea was that the power of Aeolus was lost.

And yet, no one really thought much about the fact that this girl who was around Aeris’ age shows up at the Academy with the power of Aeolus, go figure.  They really just thought the power transferred to her instead of simply being reborn.  Erin (Erin being the nickname her commoner father gave her when she was born) is actually unremarkable as far as students are concerned – she’s a model student, sure, but she’s honestly just another face in the crowd to most people.  At least until it’s discovered she’s the lost princess of Aeolus.  For some odd reason, despite just having the power of Wind, Aeolus is considered extremely powerful and people want her power.  Doubly so with the Millennium Crystal.

Sailor Gaios/Terra Fitz – I think it’s funny how this character is now required to be dark skinned, no matter what form it is.  ;P  I like her eyeliner, and I have no idea why I gave it to her, lol.

So Terra is Erin’s best friend/roommate.  They started at the Academy at the same time, and have been together ever since.  Terra actually comes from a species that’s, like, 75% women, which, of course, changed the gender dynamic.  Since there’s so few men, no one really settles down with them because they need to be available to, you know, continue the species and all that.  Most couples are lesbian, obviously.

Terra comes from a different sort of family.  Her parents settles together, and even had another child.  Full blooded siblings are highly unusual.  As such, Terra’s upbringing was different than most of her people, and while she’s definitely a tomboy, she’s not exactly one-of-the-guys, either.  Mostly, this is important just because the previous Gaius was her aunt rather than her mother.  Her aunt never had any children, which is why the power went to her instead.

Terra is fiercely loyal to Erin, and people always think she has a crush on the redhead, but they’re really just BFFs.  Due to her tomboy nature, Terra is very hands on with combat, and is a bit of a tank in the group.

Aegir/Nereus Knight/Seamus Triteia/Patrick McHaley – Yeah, he’s got a lot of names.  >.<    But I guess it makes sense considering it’s the only male and he’s a villain hiding amongst the heroes.  Sorta.  

So before the attack on Aeolus, there was an uprising on Nereus that ended up displacing the Nereis royal family on Aeolus.  Seamus and Aeris basically grew up together because of this, resulting in them becoming super close.  However, when Aeolus was attacked, Seamus was captured and brought to the evil people in order to be brainwashed into helping them.

A little spoiler alert, but the brainwashing actually didn’t take full effect. He just sort of acts like it did because it makes his life a little easier. He developed a dark form of his power and took on the name Aegir, and fights alongside the villains for a while. However, they decided to have him infiltrate the Academy, and he took on the alias Patrick McHaley.  (Due to the fact that Nereids don’t believe in marriage, no one actually knows who Seamus’ father actually is, except for Seamus and his mother, so he adapts his father’s surname as his alias.)  

While at the Academy, he ends up becoming really close with Erin (of course), and decides to join her even before it’s revealed that she is actually his first love.  When he gains his own Millennium Crystal, it wipes away the evil form and reveals him to be Nereus Knight.  Except, like I said, he was never evil to begin with, so…yeah.  

Sailor Helios/Angelia De Helios – I really could have given her a more ‘alien’ form, but I figured I needed to separate her from Aerona, sadly.  

Sadly, I don’t have that much on the last members of the team.  She’s bubbly and happy and optimistic.  The only bit of drama she has going for her is the fact that her sister disappeared some time ago, and she’s been searching for her off and on when she can.  

Sailor Aethos/Sunny Colours – I really love Sunny’s design.  I think it’s funny I took the Iris name from her, but still gave her the rainbow hair, go figure.  But hey, she’s a soldier of light, and like refracts and it still totally works!  I really like her civilian outfit.  While it was stolen from someone else, I might have to find a use for it elsewhere…well, in this form, to be precise.  ^^;

Sunny probably has the most normal life.  Her sister doesn’t care for her very much, but otherwise, no much has happened in her life other than her becoming Sailor Aethos.  She enjoys being the guardian of her planet, and I believe her claim to fame is the fact that she’s the first to get a Millennium Crystal.

Sailor Erebus/Melody Draga- Melody is Erin’s cousin through her mother/Erin’s father.  Which is impressive, since her father is, like, 1000 years old.  Basically, her parents met because Seren has business on Aeolus, and Amelia was visiting her brother, and sort of caught the eye of Seren briefly.  They had a bit of fun which resulted in Amelia becoming pregnant and Seren bringing her back to Erebus with him.

Except she was one of many concubines/wives.  Melody was raised sort of separated from the rest of her half-siblings, although her father did care for her.  But she was a Halfling and the child of a commoner, so she was looked down upon.  So everyone was surprised when it turned out to be her that inherited the Erebus power.  

Melody is actually the only one who knows Erin’s true identity, but that’s mostly because she guessed/knew of Aeris’ nickname.  Aeris was pretty much her only friend growing up until her ‘death’, so she and Erin became really close at the Academy.  She’s also the second one to gain her Millennium Crystal.

Sailor Thanatos/Alex Lea – It’s sort of obvious that I based her hair off the Earthia Thanatians. I just thought it would be funny.  But I differentiated them by giving her normal skin.

Thanatos was an unknown member of the team until very recently.  They hadn’t known about the Academy or the other members for, like, ever, so the previous Thanatos’ have just sort of been winging it. They were rather surprised to learn they were actually a part of a team and very eager to send Alex off to the Academy to meet them.

The previous Thanatos is Alex’s grandmother, since the power skipped a generation.  She actually joined the Academy at the very start of the story, which is why her first form is a lot older than the others.  She hadn’t figured out her second form yet, but she figures it out very quickly with the help of the others.  She generally feels out of place because she hasn’t been around the whole time, but the others are very exciting to have her around and love being with her, and are very welcoming.

Sailor Nemesis/Topaz – Ugh, I love this design!  It absolutely sucks that she’s a villain.  >.<  Don’t ask me why I gave her species horns while trying to make everyone human-eque. I just thought it’d look cool.

So, obviously, Topaz lost her mother in the attack on Aeolus, and she one hundred percent blames Erin for this fact since she’s the one who now holds the power her mother sought.  Her entire reason for being is to get revenge for her mother’s death, which is one reason she sends Aegir to the Academy to get dirt on her.

She’s also completely in love with Seamus, which is one of many reasons he was abducted in the first place.  He obviously shows no feelings for her, since he’s always been in love with Aeris, but that doesn’t stop her from acting like they’re destined.  

She’s actually a very competent villain, but once Aeolus started to get involved in her schemes, she’s started to get a little sloppy, which is why, of course, the guardians are always able to get the upper hand over her.  I was thinking about giving her a Millennium form as well, but decided to keep that to be something only Aeolus and her team can achieve.

Sailor Eris/Morrisa de Helios – Again, I love this design sheet, and hate that the best designs are being used for the villains, lol.  This one has the best concept to boot.

So, obviously, Eris is Helios’ lost sister.  Basically, she was rather angry about the fact that her younger sister is the one who inherited the Helios power, and ran away.  She ended up coming across the previous Eris over there, who decided to bestow the power to her.

See, while the other powers are always inherited, usually between family members, the Eris power is always given.  It’s the reason why her secondary color is different from the previous form. Morrisa sort of hates playing second fiddle to Topaz, but she also doesn’t mind because she considers Topaz a close friend.

(I got a laugh at the thought of Topaz making them have sort of matching dressed and then wear the same shoes because she 100% would do something like that.)

Morrisa isn’t necessarily a bad person, just misguided and a little vengeful, which is why she works well with Topaz.  She’s not a huge fan of Aegir, but tolerates him for the most part, but feels hurt when he does got and betray him, since he was just always…there.)  Oh, and she does care for her little sister, which makes her missions interesting when she’s around.  

I was enjoying thinking about this story and was actually considering maybe doing a fan-fic for NaNo this year, lol.  But I figure I might as well toss up the designs somewhere rather than sitting on them for another three years, and it might as well be Tumblr, right? (Tumblr tends to keep the file size and not just have the shrinked version years later XD)

The Royal Guard: Elite and formidable and just as soft for their king and queen

Leading up to Queens Day, the Royal Public Affairs Office gave us an exclusive that made this author scream in the powder room again

We were invited to the palace to interview none other than the most elite of the Royal Guard, the ones who surround Their Majesties the King and Queen

As part of the preparations for Queens Day, the king and queen are now cocooned in their private residence, giving the members of the Royal Guard a much-needed respite before the mayhem of the public being admitted in and around the palace grounds

Apparently the Royal Public Affairs Office had been planning an interview with the Royal Guard for some time, and they chose us to take it on! 

In the photo: The eight King’s Guard of the Royal Guard. Elite of the elite. Engineering and science degree graduates. Deadly in tactics, weaponry and close range combat. You do NOT want to mess with this team. 

We spoke with Park In-Young, the only female member of the Royal Guard, Seok Ho-pil, Sub-captain, and of course Jang Mi-reuk, the Queen’s Unbreakable Sword, whom we are all so fond of. 

We publish the transcript here for your enjoyment, dear reader. 

Author: Hello, ma’am, sirs. Thank you for giving me your precious time. I’m very honored. 

Seok Ho-pil: Sure. How are you? 

Park In-young: Yeah. Let’s just keep it short.

Author: So, we’ll get right to it. I won’t keep you. Who is the easier to guard, the king or queen? 

Park In-young: The king. 

Seok Ho-pil: The king. 

Jang Mi-reuk: Come on. She’s not that bad. 

*pause as PIY and SHP stare at Jang*

Author: Why is that? 

Park In-young: The queen is unpredictable. She often goes around with this one here, or without him. 

Seok Ho-pil: She doesn’t seem to know how tiny she is. She worries me. She’s really really petite. You’ve seen her. 

Jang Mi-reuk: *laughs* She’s never punched you before, has she? She can hit you just right on the jaw and knock you out. 

Seok Ho-pil: Well, yeah, but still. 

Park In-young: I’m petite too. Do I worry you?  

Seok Ho-pil: No. No. Never. 

Author: This is my readers’ top question: Is the PDA really intense? 

Park In-young: Thanks a lot, Jangmi. 

Jang Mi-reuk: What? 

Park In-young: *sighs* I’m used to the PDA. I expect it. They’re newlyweds. And they’re mostly fine. 

Seok Ho-pil: *nods* I’m honestly fine with the “couple things” they do. They hold hands. They walk attached at the hip. They randomly kiss. The king can’t seem to help himself. It’s when they’re talking or arguing that gets to me. 

Author: Why? 

Park In-young: Oh yeah. I saw that when we were in the training grounds and the king and queen were only talking about guns but I had to turn away. 

Jang Mi-reuk: Eye sex. 

Park In-young: God, Jangmi, shut up! 

Jang Mi-reuk: That’s what you were thinking! 

Seok Ho-pil: You’re publishing all this? This is the king and queen, you know. 

Author: *giggling* Well yes, I mean, full disclosure, you know. You said the talking and arguing gets to you? Why? 

Seok Ho-pil: Jangmi already said it. 

Seok Ho-pil: *to Park In-Young* The PAO thinks this is good? 

Park In-Young: *nodding* *softly* Probably all part of the plan. 

Author: Excuse me, ma’am, what plan? 

Park In-Young: The Royal Public Affairs Office never does anything unplanned or not agreeable to a plan. I think all this is meant to endear the queen to the public. They want romance, so the PAO gives them romance. And the Queens Day is all about love for the queen. The PAO wants the people to know the king is absolutely arse over elbow in love with the queen, so the people would also love the queen. 

Author: But the people already do. 

Park In-young: Yes. The queen is easy to love.

Author: That’s sweet. As the only woman in the guard, are you close to the queen, ma’am? 

Park In-young: I would never presume to be close to the queen. But she’s lovely and kind.  

Jang Mi-reuk: They share the women’s shower in the garrison gym. It doesn’t say “Women,” it says “In-Young.” But they’ve changed that to, “The Queen and In-Young.”

Author: I love that! 

Author: I’m sure I don’t want you to compromise security in any way, but has anything changed since the king’s marriage? The queen has her own team, doesn’t she? 

Seok Ho-pil: They’re always together so it’s still the eight of us, plus the Captain and Jangmi. 

Park In-young: We expand the team as needed. Numbers don’t always mean better security. 

Jang Mi-reuk: *nods* The King’s Guard is essentially the Queen’s guard. They’re the elite and no one can match them. 

Park In-young: What do you mean “they?” You’re one of us.

Jang Mi-reuk: Oh. Thanks, sunbae. 

Author: So nothing changed in your routines and procedures? 

Seok Ho-pil: We have hair ties in our pockets. 

Park In-young: Oh yeah. 

Jang Mi-reuk: *grimacing* It’s because the queen uses whatever she can reach to tie her hair if she doesn’t have a hair tie. She even used a zip tie once. I got reprimanded when the king saw that. 

Seok Ho-pil: *to Jang Mi-reuk* Where did she get a bleeping zip tie? 

Jang Mi-reuk: I have them in the car. They’re useful. 

Park In-young: Oh that was the time I saw the king trying to untangle the queen’s hair? It was because of a zip tie? 

Jang Mi-reuk: Yeah. 

Author: So you have hair ties in your pockets so the queen can have one when she needs it? 

Seok Ho-pil: Yes. 

Park In-young: Everyone has one. Even Seung-ri at the entry checkpoint has one. 

Author: That is adorable. That is so sweet. 

Jang Mi-reuk: I know, right? 

Author: *giggling* Mr Jang, have you taken any more photos you can share with us? 

Jang Mi-reuk: No. 

Author: And how have things changed since the queen’s publicized love for Seoul chicken? 

Park In-young: It’s not our place to talk or even hint about that. 

Jang Mi-reuk: You’ll have to wait for the announcement. 

Park In-young: God, Jangmi, what did I just say? I’ll kill you. 

Author: *giggling* I think our time is almost up. Thank you so much again. This is another point of interest: How can someone join the Royal Guard? 

Seok Ho-pil: Training is always open although we do have limited slots. The requirements are all posted online. Background checks, clearances, degrees, and so on. It’s a 100 percent commitment. This is the royal family we’re protecting. We are given time off and plenty of perks but you do need to truly become a shield of the royal family. 

Park In-young: It’s not for everyone. But we’re happy to give training to Corean citizens even if they end up not committing to the Royal Guard. The training can still come in handy in protecting your families or Corea.

MCR Super Sleuths by theloudestgraves, 18k, Mature. I watched half an episode of Instinct (crime show on CBS) with my mom and got to thinking, and this will be the result. The "killer" on the show exsanguinates a victim, that's where the vampire parts I thought of came in. The first series of chapters will be about that episode. If I feel like it I'll make another part in this work about other crimes or make it a collection. Sass galore.

This is what I have for you guys so far. i edited cut added cut more then finally said f it and here it is!

Summary: Candace volunteers at a shelter and surprises everyone (even herself) with a shocking revaluation.

Liam sat in the leather chair watching as his father went on and on about something he hadn't bothered to pay attention to. His mind was on Candace. Something was up and he could feel her unhappiness, he could see it in her eyes even when she smiled. Yet any time he asked her she would say nothing was wrong.

"Son are you listening? This is very important. They hate her!"

"Who? Who hates who?" Liam finally snaps out of his thoughts to see the morning newspaper thrown in front of him.

"Cordonia...the people. OUR people hate the girl." Constantine's tone was serious but Liam could see the smug grin creeping from his cheeks. He reads the paper headline: "Royal guest bored at charity barn raise." The picture they used of Candace was far from unflattering. Her eyes off in their own world a pout fixed on her face, he had been seeing that look lately... a lot lately.

"She...it's just a bad picture it means noth--" Liam starts to read the article and quickly throws it away in the trash. 

"Son I know you love her. And I know you came here with the intentions of leaving. But..." He creeps closer to his son placing a firm hand on his shoulder. His closet form of embrace he could give. "But what if you plan to stay...what if you decide to keep your crown?"

"Father I already--"

"Yes...yes I know. But I've been watching you, at the morning meetings during our trading briefs. You enjoy this, even more than that you thrive at it!" He sighs removing his hand and walking away. "I just think that if you leave they will blame her. Do you want that?"

"No ...what should I do?"

His father turns away hiding his full smile. "Don't worry son. I know exactly what to do."

The limo doors open and soon Canadace was standing in front of a crowd. It was so different. For the 2 months she was surrounded by beautiful perfect faces in expensive dresses and now staring at her were men women and children who faces were covered in dirt and dried tears, coughing as they shivered in their wet blankets. Was this Cordonia? 

"Lady Candace, why are you here?" a reporter calls out thrusting his mic in her face.

"I ...um I'm here to help those affected Cordonia's latest flood. The monarchy would like to show their support."

"And what do you plan to do exactly?" Another reporter pushes their mic into her face. She pauses. No one had given her instructions on what exactly to do here.

" Well I...um I guess I will..." looking around for an answer.

"She will be assisting in feeding the hungry, passing out clean dry linen, and whatever Lady Candace feels she can squeeze in." She hadn't seen the man standing next to her appear. But there he was long slicked back light salt and pepper hair and a dashing smile that seemed welcoming. "Now if you all will excuse us Lady Candace has a very busy day ahead and I'm sure she would like to get started."

The dashing man lead her into the building as the reporters remained outside.

"Thanks for the help."

"Oh you are most welcome, M'Lady." he takes her hand placing a light kiss to it.

"Well, it's seems you have me quite in a disadvantage. You know who I am but I have no idea who you are."

"I am Francesco. Usually I work with the King in trade deals with Italy." He smiles as he walks her further into the building. "But with the recent flood many of Cordonia's supplies have been meager, so I took it upon myself to assist the country. Help them get back on their feet sort of speak."

"Well that's very generous of you." Candace had a feeling not to trust the welcoming man in front of her. She watched as he helped a young child who dropped their toy. Over the past few weeks she had grown to not trust the beaming smiles of nobles, and she wasn't sure but for some reason this man with all his charm, still gave her an uneasiness. 

"Oh it's a better honor to serve." He grins before leading her to a large laundry room. "Here is where the linen is washed dried and folded. You can assist here for a while then well move you to do other duties."

Candace had forgotten how satisfying it was to work. And it wasn't just the tasks that brought a smile to her face, it was the people. She met a young girl named Dorcas who wanted to go to college but the flood destroyed her parent's business, she was sure her dream would never come true. She met a man Mr. Callis who was a 5th generation fisherman, he lost his wife of 37 years due to the flood, and mainly stayed at the shelter because it was better than the unwelcoming silence of his empty home. She heard so many stories learned so many names, cared for and assisted so many that she regretted leaving . She decided to leave the shelter through the back doors hoping to avoid and more press.

"This is all working perfectly! I mean we are making millions off these saps!"

As Candace turned a corner she saw Francesco talking on his phone, he hadn't seen her and so she hid to hear more.

"Ha! and the king just keeps sending us more and more money. He doesn't even bother to look at the expenses!" He boasts "And the best part is that that all we're get money from everyone. Countries all over are just raking in the cash! We'll be millionaires before if we can just milk this thing a few more months. "  Francesco rolls with laughter not even noticing Candace walking to her limo.

She was quite her way back., not sure of what to do. But before she could come up with an answer the limo was pulling into the place grounds, where the press waited for her.

Giving the limo little time to stop and before her senses could stop her she was standing in front of a camera microphone clenched in her fist.

"Cordonian's, today I assisted  at a local shelter. That shelter's purpose is to support your survivors. I met those survivors. And it was those who have nothing that have shown me the true beauty that is Cordonia. I want them to know that I truly care. So what I'm about to say comes from love and respect for those people and this country, and I wouldn't say this if I didn't believe 100 percent for it to be true...." Candace took a deep breath. She wasn't afraid but her nerves were on end. "Those that run that shelter are running a scam!"

The press gasps all rushing closer with their microphones. 

"Italian Statesman Fransesco is nothing more than a vulture...a criminal who has been milking the Cordonian monarchy, fooling them to believe they are helping your people. But all he is doing is pocketing the money!" Candace opened her mouth to say more but strong arms grabbed her pulling her into the palace the doors shutting with a loud thud.

"Let go of me!" she struggles free as the guard releases her.

"Lady Candace you have been summoned to the king's quarters at once."

She followed the guard to a study. The second she stepped in the room Constantine eyed her. He had a way of looking furious but still with a calm smile.

"Where's Liam?" 

"Don't worry he will be in shortly. But while we wait maybe you should explain yourself? You just accused one of our biggest trade dealers of scamming us!" 

Candace straightens her spine. "I'm telling the truth."

"I don't give a damn if it's the truth or not!" Constantine spat his face turning red before taking a breath to calm himself. "I know you are new here. And being foreign, you have little understanding of monarchy protocol. But I am king! I rule this country and if something isn't straight you come to me with it! Don't get in front of a news camera and make me look like a gullible fool!"

"I wan't...I didn't mean to--"

Just then the doors opened an Liam walks in.

"I just heard. Candace I...I can't believe you just did that!" She waited to see disappointment in his eyes but there was none. Instead he smiles pulling her into a tight hug. "I always thought something was off about Francesnco."

"Well we have to prove he actually is guilty of fraud before we go parading the girl around like a hero, Liam."

"You should check your records. He was boasting about the fact that you never looked over them." 

Constantine clenches his jaw. "My men will look over them immediately."

"Good. I think Candace deserves a night out." Liam's eyes didn't leave her as he spoke " Father I'm taking the jet tonight." He leans whispering into her ear. "Candy go put on something...special." biting his bottom lip as he took a step back and watches as she walks away.

Today had certainly been a whirlwind. Candace started her day washing linen feeding the hungry to broadcasting a fraud over the local news to now flying in a private jet her hand firmly in Liam's, who just couldn't wipe this silly grin from his face. 

"Do you know if your father looked into those records?"

"I do. I was going to wait till we landed but....you were right! The man has schemed almost half a million from us and there's no telling how much he could have gotten away with before anyone would have noticed."

Candace exhaled. "I'm just glad I actually helped instead of made things worse."

"Helped? Candace you did far more then help! You saved those people...and even if my father's to prideful to admit it...you saved the monarchy." He bends to kiss her hand softly. "Take a look out of the window, we are here."

Candace eyes land on the shimmering lights of the Eiffel Tower. Her mouth opens but no words flow out only shrieks.

When the plane landed Liam lead her up to the very top of the building. Awaiting them was a candlelight diner for two.

"You planned all this?" Her mouth still agape as she he lead her to her seat.

"Oh this...this was nothing just called in a few favors." He gives a sly wink before sitting down. "Besides Cordonia's hero needs to be thanked some kind of way."

"I'm no hero Liam I just ---"

"No. Stop selling yourself short Candace. I've thought Franceseco was a weasel since the day I've met him. You were with the man for 5 hours and figured out he was robbing my country. You're incredible."

"I have to say I did enjoy helping at the shelter. It helped me to see Cordonia in a new light."

"Oh so you actually like it now." Liam quirked a smile "Guess we don't have to make a rushed flight back to New York?"

"Don't get too excited." Candace chuckles looking off into the dazzling lights of Paris. "But...I really did love meeting those people...and getting to know them...and being able to make their lives better. I know it probably would have been better  for me to go to the King with Franceseco but really all I could think about was them. Helping them, protecting them."

They ate their dinner as she told him about all the people she meet. She remembered every name every story they had. Candace looked over to Liam his smile brighter than the lights before them. It was almost as if he's looking at her for the first time, as if he never really knew her until this moment. And he loved what he saw. He takes her hand leading her to the edge of the tower they look through the chain fence at the city below.

"Want to know why I brought you here?"

"Oh so you weren't just trying to woo me with your father's jet and you connects to the Effeil Tower."

"Ha Ha...no. This use to be my favorite place as a kid. I use to beg father to take me but he was always too busy. So I decided to take myself." Liam looks out into the buildings below. "Coming here made me realize exactly what it means to be King. All those people: mothers fathers children, they all depend on their leaders. To serve them to protect them so that their lives can be that much better. Up here you see more than just a view...up here you see as a royal just how many lives you affect. I learned that lesson coming up here, but I guess you...you learned what it means to be royal by actually being down there."

"I think your making a big deal out of nothing...I just--"

Her words stop as she watches Liam drop to his knee.

"Candace you are worthy of so much whether you know it or not. You are worthy of all this and so much more." She watched as his eyes danced up and down her body. He looks so proud, so happy so pleased with the woman whose waist he holds so tightly, as if he needs her to believe what he says. His hands slowly drop and find their way underneath her skirt.

She closes her eyes as she lets him touch her. It had been so long since she just shut her mind off and allowed herself to be touched. And he touched her so well, his fingertips so warm against her skin as he traces over her moist center.

Liam doesn't take his eyes off Candace. Her head tilted back eyes closed to the bight stars above her, the wind softly blowing through her dark hair. He loved her and yes he was proud of what she achieved today, but in all honesty his just wanted her to be happy. And soon he pulls the damp panties down. bows his head underneath the skirt and kisses her where he knew she needed most.

He listens as she moans his tongue focused on her clit flicking the ball of nerves till he could hear her breath hitch. He opens his mouth wider,sucking on the sensitive flesh,  using his free hand to enter her, sliding in and out giving him juice to quench his thirst. Holding her waist so tightly is the only thing keeping her shaking legs from completely giving out on her. Liam nestles himself between her thighs, loving her cries, loving her taste, loving to be the thing that made her happy and wanting it to be forever, wanting to make this exact spot he is in his home.

&&. announcing her royal highness, ( mieke zulu, née van vuuren ), the ( 34 ) year old ( princess ) of ( south africa ). she is often confused with ( candice swanepoel ). some say that she is ( unwelcoming & haughty ), but she is actually ( steadfast & clever ).

the van vuuren family was one of the first families to move to south africa when the area was colonized. as a family of merchants, they were a bit on the wealthier side but nothing too excessive. they didn’t hold much power but had a few connections to the more influential people.

until the mid-19th century that is. 

the van vuurens bought a mine --- they had hoped to find vanadium and chrome, and perhaps even a little bit of gold. what they di not expect was a proper diamond mine. the family got rich and fast, and when the iron is hot you have to smith: they expanded as much as they just could and it took roughly a decade for them to be one of the most prominent suppliers of diamonds. 

with wealth came power. the van vuurens got better at influencing politicians and swaying to vote that it served their agenda. they had a lot to lose when the conversation about an independent south africa began. the van vuurens were more than glad to stay under the rule of the english --- hell, they’d take the dutch too.

despite their best efforts, in 1910 the monarchy was established in south africa. 

the van vuurens managed to hold onto most of their land, they paid a steep price for it in the form of bribes and donations but the dynasty stayed. 

they had never been really politicians, they just made sure that they had a dozen in their pockets because they always found something to disagree with the royals. the van vuurens knew how much power they could lose if they gave in even an inch so no matter what the ruler of the kingdom did, the van vuurens always found something to criticize. it really depended on the issue whether they were just annoying mosquitoes or actual roadblocks. 

after the 60s they toned down a bit --- the less socially acceptable straight up racism got, the less they could open their mouths. it still didn’t mean that they were nowhere close to playing fair or being kind. they had their own agenda and they would serve it until the very end, ruthlessly.

of course once they had established their place in the south african society, they also had less of a need to be very vocal. as time passed, they mainly focused on influencing taxing and exportation laws. the more money they could earn, the better, fuck the society lol.

mieke’s father and the king of south africa don’t see eye to eye. not only is mieke’s father a bit young to show such blatant disrespect towards the monarch, he has practically made it his mission to slow down any improvements the king has tried to make. partly because it helped with the family business, partly to make sure everyone knew how strong a position the van vuurens still held, and partly because of the feud the families had kept feeding since the beginning of the nation. 

okay now about mieke herself

so mieke grew up as a rich kid. she had it all from chopard necklaces ( gifted to her by the brand ofc ) to chanel tweed jackets. not to mention a “pet” leopard in a cage on their backyard. everything about the van vuurens was about showing off their wealth and mieke knew no better. her hair always had to look like she was fresh from the salon and if she forgot to put on diamond earrings, it was the end of the world.

mieke has only associated herself with specific kind of people: the rich and the beautiful. it’s not something she does intentionally but because she has always been able to pick the people around herself, she has clearly gone for the people who seem the most interesting and most like herself.

she doesn’t necessarily look at “normal” people down her nose but she somewhat ignores them unless there’s an actual conversation to be had. she remembers to thank her staff and send them their christmas bonuses but she rarely asks how their families are or if they enjoyed their holiday: if she really doesn’t care about the person, why would she waste her time? she has better things to do than to make someone she doesn’t truly know, feel noticed.

but if anything, mieke has always been obedient. she has always respected her parents and appreciated the privileged life she’s been given. she very much shamelessly repeated her father’s words when people asked her about politics and whatnot --- even if she never really know what she was saying. 

mieke was also the only child so she received a lot of attention from her father, which just made her more fond of the man. she has a handful of cousins who are all working at the family business, mieke’s branch of the family owns 42% percent of the company, her two uncles’ families the rest.

but then. enter ayo.

it was usual for the van vuurens to be invited to basically every event the royals were invited to as well so the two families interacted quite a lot even if every conversation was just both sides tensing their jaws.

according to all logic, kgosi and mieke should have been nothing different --- they were the ones who were supposed to uphold the tradition. mieke’s oldest cousin seemed to be doing a good job at it though.

kgosi and mieke did get into spats occasionally but mainly just to uphold the tradition. it was all in good humour. 

it was all in good humour until they both realized that somewhere along the way they had more or less fallen for each other. 

it was a twist hardly anyone saw coming, definitely not the king nor her father. when it was brought up, the couple somewhat assumed that both of the men would be outraged. that was not the case. because both could see exactly what they had to gain from it:

mieke’s father believed that finally the family would get someone truly special in their pocket. not just the season’s hottest politician, a crown prince. 

and the king would finally get rid of the van vuurens, the pests. if the van vuurens’ own angel was to become queen, they’d feel less inclined to shake up the monarchy’s position. if mieke became part of the family, she’d most certainly earn the royal family points from the white but rich minority.

so eventually the two got married, in 2010, and it really did improve the relationship between the families --- it didn’t remove all of the problems but now it was kgosi’s and mieke’s job to find the compromise. 

the two of them had trouble conceiving,  it took them three years until mieke got pregnant. their son, ajani yahya zulu, is now five years old, and even though they’ve been trying to have another child, no such luck. mieke has more or less given up by now.

mieke is fiercely loyal to her husband and takes his side without having to think --- unless it’s her own family causing the issue. she does her best to make sure to have her husband’s back. her talents lie in scheming to be honest. it’s something she learned from her family. there isn’t many things she considers unorthodox and doesn’t mind taking the responsibility off kgosi’s shoulders if something controversial has to be done.

so this zulu family feud has definitely brought out a more uglier side of her and she has no love lost for her husband’s brothers or their children.

and in exchange, I’d regale you with tales of the arts, especially music and literature. I’ve had the chance to read a lot in my youth (traveling around, being on boat or carriage for days on end will do that to a young girl), and I’m elated to be able to share all of that with you.

also, I’m not the biggest gossip, Noe - I don’t particularly partake in it, I just prefer... happening to be there when the information arrives and is discussed around the table, lol. right place, right time. but you would bring out the worst side of me in that matter, to be sure.

but it’s not out of malice, and we don’t gossip about people of the ton, too much! it’s just that you are more experienced than olive and I are with matters of the heart, what with us having had very sheltered, clean-cut and perfectly model lives, and you’re the first lady we meet to whom we can ask slightly indiscreet questions.

later on she’d rave about your prowesses, like “these two friends you have are surely formidable young women...” and I’m just like, “i know, they are my friends. who do you think i surround myself with, losers?” (my actual response every time my irl mom says something positive about my friends. some things never change.)

and the whole cover up marriage!!!!!! oh my god!!!! the strategies we come up with to be with the ones we truly love, girls. we are unbeatable, galaxy brains, geniuses, gifted of the highest intellect.

obviously I’d be 1000% supportive of you in your pursuit of True Love, capital T capital L, no matter who it is with. I may like tragedies and ill-fated lovers in my stories... I just want real life romances to end happily, and love to triumph and conquer all; and that includes yours, of course.

but how will we react once we find out about Eloise and you???? oh my god, that is the hugest storm ever brewing in the distance. I’m positively relishing in all these happenings!! <3

My top Anime of the season

Spring 2017

Ok since the first time I did this It was quite appreciated, I’m doing it again. Those are the anime I enjoyed the most this fall. You should definitly check it out :)

-Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine

I’ll be honest, I was expecting nothing from the anime. I thought it woud be the same fujoshi bait with some bishounens and the chibi moe sensei. Oh I was so wrong.

This became easily my favorite anime of the season. The characters are so loveble, the animation and character design is great and so is the story.

It goes from adorable and silly

To serious and somehow sad and touching arguments, such as selfconfidence, society and family.

Synopsis

Equally charming and stern, Heine Wittgenstein is a brilliant man who commands respect, despite his short, childlike stature. Thus, the king of Grannzreich has called upon Heine to undertake a daunting task that has driven away many before him—become the new royal tutor to four princes who are in line for the throne.

The four heirs each have very distinct and troublesome personalities: Licht, the flirtatious youngest prince; his immature older brother Leonhard; Bruno the studious third prince; and Kai, the oldest of the four and the most reserved. Hilarity ensues as Heine attempts to connect with each of the princes in order to groom them for the throne. However, Heine's mysterious past and dark undercurrents in the present may threaten the harmony within the kingdom.

-Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho

From what I’ve seen this anime was quite underwatched considering how good it was for its genre. This was quite enjoyible and the bond between the two protagonists zero and yohei, It’s one of the best I’ve seen in anime. The anime is the adaption of the first light novel, and I think they did a great job afterall.

Synopsis

In a world of constant war between humans and witches, there exist the "beastfallen"—cursed humans born with the appearance and strength of an animal. Their physical prowess and bestial nature cause them to be feared and shunned by both humans and witches. As a result, many beastfallen become sellswords, making their living through hunting witches.

Despite the enmity between the races, a lighthearted witch named Zero enlists a beastfallen whom she refers to as "Mercenary" to act as her protector. He travels with Zero and Albus, a young magician, on their search for the Grimoire of Zero: a powerful spell book that could be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. During their journey, his inner kindness is revealed as he starts to show compassion and sympathy towards humans and witches alike, and the unlikely companions grow together.

I’ll be honest, I did like the first season of Snk but I pretty much couldn’t stand most of the characters. With the second season I understood how silly I was and how much of an fucking masterpice snk is. I finished the rest of the manga the day later and damn I can say for sure now that snk is one of my most favorite manga/ anime ever.

You don’t even need to compare them, because witt studio did a magificent job. Be it the animation, the soundtrack, the extra scenes and the most important fact. They were able to do the impossible .

Boku no hero Season 2

Ok this precious gem is slowly taking over my heart. The characters are so loveble I just can’t. There are ofc quite some tropes of the usual shonen story but the way It’s executed makes you overlook them.

Studio bones just confirm once again why they are my favorite studio by omitting the sensless possible fillers, animating properly and respecting the mangaka work.

Also a huge plus for using kenshi yonezu and amzarashi songs as openings for the anime

Natsume yuujinchou roku

Whenever I see natsume yuujinchou I get this fuzzy and warm feeling I used to have when as a child alone, anime were my only happiness. It just makes me feel inside why the japanese animation has always held such a big significance on my life.

Natsume is special, it’s one of those masterpieces that is always able to move you. I’ll never stop reccomending it to people. Be it the beatiful anime delievered to us by brain base studio, or the manga accurately drawn by Midorikawa Yuki.

I also want to mention the opening of this season which in my humble opinion It’s one of the most beatiful anime opening I’ve ever seen. The visuals, the music the deep meaning behind every character aparence and the flower language just makes this so precious. It shows once again how much this anime is treasured by the studio, which is always beatiful to see in my opinion.

Okay! I am a 17 year old male who has been driving in total for 2 years and I have unfortunately had 2 accidents. The first occurred in May of last year. My problem is this, In July 2007 A man in a huge truck with a trailer hinge back up out from a parking space, it I saw him and the only thing I could at the time is speed up so he would not hit the middle of my car. He ended up hitting the side bumper and ripped it off. I have A 1999 Cryshler Sebring. It truely was a hard hit. I have put over 700.00 and still more problems. So my question is what do you think my chances are If I take it to the manufactor and they will rule in my favor. Straight from the start right after the accident my car kept dyeing out, so I had to drive it like a standard car with my feet on the gas and brake at the same time. So in the end , last I have heard there is a short somewhere so I took it to Spitfire and place that specializes in electrical problems and he told me my computer is bad. First of all the things my battery kept dyeing out, my car would not start up in the mornings,I took it to Auto zone and my battery was fat, swollen no good. Bought a new one, then I took it to a man at midas , he said I needed a valve cover gasket and he showed me my spark plugs we filled with oil, fixed that. Now Midas ran a scan and said I had either a bad map sensor or a short. Changed the map sensor the car is still barely running, so then another place said it was a short but had it for two weeks and could not find the short . I would like to know , if the guys Insurance is still on the hook for all the problems I have had with the car since the accident. I've carried my auto and homeowners insurance with State Farm for about 15 years. I've had multiple auto claims but only one claim on my homeowners poicy. I had my roof replaced about four years ago when most houses in the area were damaged by hail. I've been very happy dealing with state farm but I'm considering a change to travelers. Travelers sent me a quote that if accurate reduces my homeowner insurance to about $900 per year as compared to the slightly lower benefits from State Farm which is costing $1200 every six months. What opinion do you have of these two companies and what do you base it on. Will Travelers drop me after the first claim and do they pay claims quickly?
