Uhm hi your au is cool and I love the Sentinel and TFP Optimus potential so have this thank you have a good day:

“I don’t understand…”

“You don’t have to do so immediately, it’s not easy to have everything you thought you once knew uprooted.”

“No that’s not- I-“ Sentinel hissed, stepping back from the larger mech. He wants to scream, to shout, to deny everything but he knows that it won’t work on this Optimus. How can he be so different than the bridge repair bot he knew? How can he, a warframe no less be so endlessly patient and kind and why does he found himself feeling so safe around him?! The safest he had ever felt no less! It made no sense, it shouldn’t make sense at all.

“I wanted to deny this.” The blue prime said, his voice box wobbly with an emotion he can’t safely identify. “I want to not understand this but if I do, I would feel like I’m going insane and I know that you wouldn’t stop being so patient regardless.”

The elite guard had searched for any deceit, any form of trickery that would cause him to distrust this warframe but there was nothing. His patience, his understanding, his kindness; it was just who this Optimus was. And everything just shattered when Sentinel came to that horrible realisation.

He sees this Optimus extend his arm out and Sentinel wants to slap it away, to be afraid and yet.. He found himself reaching out to hold his servo, squeezing it tightly. Optimus- Orion as he had called himself to differentiate between him and the repair bot Optimus made no move to pull him in. Sentinel knew that it was because that was who he is and it still terrifies him.

“I want to hate you..” He admits, burying the spike of guilt deep down from his spark. “I wanted to hate you so much but I just- can’t. Why are you so kind? You kept glaring at me when we first met and now you’re- you’ve just come in and made me question everything I thought I knew!…”

“That was due to previous experiences on my part from a mech who shares your designation.” Orion explains sincerely. “Because of that, I initially was wary of you and it clouded my judgement, for that I apologise. But as I learned more about this world, the Cybertron you live in and the system that you grew up with, I’ve began to view things with a fresh look, and that includes you.”

Sentinel chooses not to pry deeper into what Orion said, partly due to being emotionally unstable as he is and partly in fear of what he would learn if he asked. All he could do is stare down at the ground as words kept tumbling out from deep in his processor and spark. “E-everything I thought I knew is just.. I don’t want to even doubt it, the system has been everything to me.. all it’s rules… But then you- you just crash down here, disproving everything I thought I knew and now—!”

Sentinel looks up to shout at the larger bot but seeing his kind optics and sad smile made all the fury die out from his voice box. He released his servo as though it was hot metal and curls up on the ground, shaking. Internally he berates himself for showing such a pathetic display considering his position but Orion said nothing or voice any judgements. He could feel the other mech sit down beside him, close enough to reach out if needed and far enough to not step into his personal space.

“As easier as it would be, the world is not so clear cut.” Orion said, his voice holding a wisdom only gained through many stellar cycles. It held the same type of heaviness Ultra Magnus have but it doesn’t feel as old or historic as him. “Sometimes evil comes from good intentions, sometimes what seems good ends up being malicious and harmful. This system you grew up in and had been drilled into you for so long, is one of the latter. I’m so sorry.”

Despite everything, Sentinel finds himself nodding numbly to his words. He wanted to forget all this ever happened, return back to the safe structure of following protocols and living as he had before meeting Orion but too many things have been thrown into question, rules that once seem like facts have now been broken, doubt has been cast in and can never be uprooted thanks to Orion and now—

“I don’t want to think about this anymore…” Sentinel admits, exhaustion finally seeping into his processor, having enough of everything. He found himself with his walls taken down without his say, something he was still very much horrified of it. Still, in spite of that, he lets Orion gently take him into a sideways embrace. It felt warm, comforting and when all the fear and conflict were shoved away due mental fatigue, Sentinel briefly wondered when was the last time he felt so safe and allowed himself to be this open. At the very least, when everything has been flipped over and shattered, Orion remained consistent and that’s something he’s thankful about, even if he doesn’t realise it at this point in time.

As Sentinel slowly falls into recharge, Orion can’t help but gently carry the mech in his arms, shielding him from any potential onlookers. Sentinel is a proud autobot who doesn’t like showing weakness and has made many foolish choices in the past but underneath it all was a young mech, traumatised, insecure and afraid. Yet Orion can’t help but be proud of him for at least not throwing everything he realised away and opening up to how it troubles him. It spoke of his true character and the trust he had in him, trust that Orion swore to never misuse. It will be difficult for Sentinel from here on out, there is a long road ahead full of turns and obstacles and right now, he’s trapped in a storm of confusion and conflict, misdirection and denial. But he will be there to guide him and be a pillar of support when needed. He won’t let him or anyone else walk the path alone.

Okay i know i said i will be making a comic for this then answer it, but ive been seeing posts about asks getting deleted from people's inboxes and i would HATE for this to get lost so imma post it

Which bot do you think would be most likely to be into human interfacing?

Mmm it depends. Are we talking them being more open to it from the start? Then I assume all versions of Bumblebee lmao. Skybound Optimus too but I feel like he would be terrified of hurting his human during it. Otherwise G1 Hot Rod/Rodimus would be down as well, and probably TFA Bulkhead (he's just nervoussss) - plus TFA Jetfire and Jetstorm. Oh and TF:One Sentinel. If he's the leader of Iacon he may as well get himself alien valve/spike. If we're talking about the level of intensity, then... Knock Out at first finds the idea of human interfacing disgusting - but if he gets his own human he's going to start looking up proper adult content and not just movie schlock. Good job, now he's going to hound you for interface because you changed his perception on sexuality TFP Breakdown too - although the transition is easier if he gets with a human before he loses his optic. He's more subtle about his insistence, just offering it and awkwardly letting you mull it over - all the while reassuring you that he's going to be extremely careful TFA Sentinel wants to fuck humanity so much - but you have to get it out of him. He's going to fight tooth and nail to keep his disgust up - but once he realizes he's down he'll have a mental breakdown over it

Everyone else would probably only be down to interface with their respective humans

A BIG POST WHY TFA SENTINEL IS A GOOD CHARACTER WHILE STILL BEING A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT

I hated him like any tfa viewer is expected to, and i still do, because he's wrong oftenly and very fucking immature about his own actions, but it's just that fandom treats him like a simple flat cardboard designed for nagging the main characters, while he's not. Even people usually fond of discussing character depth just go "ew" at him, but i want to prove that he's not worse than even ratchet or bumblebee in terms of writing. His actions have depths, reasons and explanations. I do not want to excuse him in points where he actually fucked up, but i do want to remind that he's a character with a history and insecurities like others in tfa

I want to start off with the fact that while the hate he has inside the fandom is not really interesting, it is easily expected. He acts like a piece of shit and has a lot of negative traits (for example you have his attitude towards organics, and while you could kinda write it into being a reaction to Elita's 'death', it wouldn't be really valid, since Optimus was there too, he saw the same things as him, but he has no disgust towards humans)

The first thing i want to show would be this screenshot from the allspark almanac. It actually broke me when i saw it and prompted to write this because it brilliantly explains his whole character drama.

He feels guilty. He actually knows and admits he made a mistake and he is weighed down by it. He is fully and painfully aware of his stupidity in the situation.

But is he going to admit it? Is he going to apologise? Of course he's not. He cannot carry the weight of his guilt, but he cannot apologise and let himself be weak. So he made a vow.

He presses Optimus down and puts that weight on him because it's easier for him to stand straight reassuring himself that he's not at fault at all here. He feels that if he says sorry, then he'll be guilty forever and will never let go if he acknowledges it. He is guilty and he knows it, but he's immature and he does not want to think about it at all. He distracts himself with the rules and regulations.

"I did it, i fucked up trying to be something greater than i should, breaking rules. I'm never gonna wash it off, I'm guilty, but i must be better. If I don't make any more attempts at throwing over the rules, if I hold down others from doing so, i will be better, right?"

Rules are safety and comfort for him. Breaking rules and trying to be special is something he associates with Elita's death, and his thought process basically is "no rule breaking=no tragic accidents to be responsible for". He's confident that if he does everything by protocol, how he's told, then there will be no situation he would have to be blamed in. Of course he takes it to an extent. You oftenly see him obsessing over rules and regulations more oftenly than others — and now that makes sense.

The second thing would be his profile and Optimus's words about him. This text doesn't really serve us much important information, just a simple outside opinion on how he acts, except the first phrase.

"Sentinel means well, he really does."

As bizzare as it sounds, even Optimus, who he has a very sour relationship with, understands this. Sentinel actually means well — but it's just his experience and perception that really distort what comes out in the end. His "well" is very different from others' "well", but he definitely does not actually mean intentional harm in most occasions.

An unconcious goal that he most likely has is "do not let the elita incident happen again". It actually explains why he's trying to press down Optimus's ambitions and yells at young autobots about the importance of listening to the code. He may see himself in others.

Last is miscellaneous details. He actually covered Optimus and Elita when they were retreating — wouldn't do this if he was as selfish as creators want us to believe. He says he made a mistake in the almanac (when he was kinda being interviewed, he told the truth). Wouldn't really do that too. Most times he's been a dick to Optimus and his crew were him simply not believing immediate information without proof like he believes is the right way, like he's supposed to, and from his perspective he was genuinely sure he's doing the right thing

Conclusion

I would still slap him if i met him. But it doesn't mean that he should be rushed and avoided during discussion of character flaws and I'm tired of him just getting flatted down by the fandom as "mean and stupid do not touch". I want him to be taken seriously, and tbh finding out that he actually feels bad about archa seven is all it takes to be suddenly enlightened about the inner workings of his brain, because it connects all the dots.

And i would give all my money to see him canonically get a better development and more focus in the show. I would love if he accepted his wrongs, and if he had a genuinely honest conversation with Optimus. I really would.

Sentinel gasps when the vibrator’s intensity increases and decreases in the blink of an optic. He scowls when he hears a ping on his datapad from you.

He frowns, pressing his thighs together. He'll get you back. The intensity of the vibrations fluctuates again, forcing him to bite his lip and throw his helm back.

"Dammit..." he sighs, taking a glance at the door to see if it was locked, it is. He lets his interface panels slide away, exposing his warm and wet array to the cold office air. Should he really do this? Run the risk of getting caught or disappointing you? He sighs, shakily putting his digits against his valve mesh, making slow, circular motions.

Y/n: Primus, you're probably already touching your valve, dripping and weeping from your spike just thinking about me touching you.

Damn it, he hates when you're right.

How can he not get transfluid all over his office? The last time he had to clean up after himself right after overload, he couldn't really enjoy it... Sentinel looks up at his desk, blue optics landing on a thinner writing utensil. Almost perfect. But good enough.

He grabs the utensil, swiping it over his tongue before putting the tip against the slit of his spike.

"Frag..." he gasps, pushing the blunt side of the utensil into his spike. Sentinel winces, baring his denta at the soon-to-be pleasurable stretch. He pushes it deeper, making sure it wouldn't dip inside of his spike, keeping a small amount of pressure at the end of the writing utensil so it won't slip out. He whines, trying not to look at the sight of his own array. It already feels like he's on the edge, Sentinel tosses his helm back and lets his intake open. The prime wraps a servo around his spike, squeezing it gently and feeling the unusual, but enjoyable sensation of the intrusion. "Ngh..."

The blue bot gives his spike a gentle pump, gasping, pulling the writing utensil along with his servo. The bio lights along his spike flash and pulse erratically. He whines and sighs exasperatedly, gingerly stroking up and down his spike, feeling the hotness in his core stir jarringly. Sentinel bites his derma, trying not to make any louder noises. Why the hell couldn't he just wait to come back home and frag you, like a normal bot would do?

The feeling flares up in his core again, he tenses in his office chair. He instinctively shoves two digits into his intake, thighs shaking in anticipation and pleasure.

This is going to be such a long day...
