you know, Ronon is eternally being tortured in SGA and being captured and being called a caveman and implied that he’s stupid. Kinda eh, guys, not so cool. Why are all the episodes focussed on him tragic and torturing? jeeze. Also, he’s smart and strategic and clever, not stupid, and not a caveman. That’s just racist.

And why is it always Teyla who is the ~emotional one? she and Ronon are always the ones who ‘supporting’ the others and doing the emotional labour. They should’ve got way better stories.

#sga #sga rewatch #don't get me wrong i love the show #and the characters #Rachel Luttrell and Jason Momoa did a great job giving them depth and complexity #Jason Momoa always plays Ronon as intelligent and does great counter-ballancing stuff #Rachel Luttrell makes the glimpses we see of Teyla outside of the team really rich and gives her relationships with everyone nuance #It is just a pattern maybe #Teyla gets to be angry and gets to be sad and happy and all kinds of things Rachel Luttrell does such a good job <3 #I am happy she did not have to have a relationship with John Sheppard #Ronon could've got some more positive relationships outside of Sheppard and the team #He isn't given much screen time #more stories about him that weren't him being captured or tortured would've been nice e is all I'm saying I like him #I'm not good at the darker harder episodes of anything this is why I watch shite like SGA geeze
