Bio:  Tessa was born in the Fall of 1872 to Mary Smith and Alexander Blight. Tessa was unwanted by her father, saying that son would have been better. A year later Alexander Blight the second was born in the winter of 1873. Tessa was handed over to nannies and governess or to her uncle doctor Jack Smith. As time went on and Tessa grew older she would spend less time in her home and more time with Jack. Jack saw the pure wonder and curiosity the child had; started to teach them about medicine. While the lessons were never extensive they were enough for them to get by.

When Tessa was four, Heracles came stumbling in there lives. On death's door Jack worked to save him, and two years later the pair were married in secret. When Tessa was nine Jack formally adopted the child stating that he could give them a better home life than there parents. And Jack wasn't wrong. As the child grew they came to realize something about themselves. Some days they woke feeling like a girl, some days they woke feeling like a boy and on some days they didn't feel like either. Mary, her father and brother mocked, ridiculed, and tormented the child, saying they were a freak. Jack and Heracles support and we're there for them. With there help Tessa embraced what they were. 

When Tessa was old enough they worked hard and became a Private investigator. Using her brother's name and mother's maiden name they got there license. Tessa opened shop with her long time friend, fiancee, and husband Jacob Rook. Jacob ran a pub, while they worked in the back. They mostly dealt with wives who suspect there husbands, or dealing with bosses who were unfair. Sadly Jack died a year into Tessa's marriage leaving them and Jacob a large sum of money, his books and home. And whether or not they knew Jack was the infamous Ripper is left up for debt.
