Thoughts on the Tentatek Splattershot/Octo Shot Replica? Choose whichever you prefer

Don't have a lot of thoughts on this weapon, to be honest. It's a variant of the most average weapon in the game, the benchmark by which everything else is compared, and I think it's kind of boring to play as a result. Of Splattershot's two kits this is the one I like the least, if only because I don't like Triple Inkstrike very much.

Weapon Spotlight: Tentatek Splattershot

How does one improve on a good old-fashioned Splattershot? Tentatek's answer is to make it a fresh, vibrant shade of pink so you can dominate your Turf Wars in style! With the same stats as the classic Splattershot, the T-Tek, as the cool kids call it, is a jack-of-all trades shooter with great ink coverage, mobility, and damage output, and a powerful kit to boot!

The Tentatek Splattershot's short range and three-hit splats lend well to playing in the frontlines and making aggressive pushes to keep the pressure on your opponents. You can also ink a lot of turf pretty quickly, building up your special charge and getting more control over the stage. Working well with just about any gear abilities, the possibilities are endless when it comes to the T-Tek!

And of course, a versatile main weapon deserves an equally versatile sub weapon, and Splat Bombs have you covered! You can roll a Splat Bomb on the ground to quickly set it off right in front of you, throw it far to attack opponents just out of your reach, distract and force a would-be attacker to run right where you want them to be for an ambush, or splat them instantly with a direct hit. Whatever the situation, you can count on a T-Tek and a Splat Bomb to get you through and come out on top!

That brings us to the T-Tek's special, the Triple Inkstrike! Three devastating pillars of ink, and they're easy to use, too: just throw the markers as far or near as you'd like and the Inkstrikes will go right to them! Nobody wants to get caught in the blast radius of a Triple Inkstrike, so you can use this to your advantage and send your opponents running. If you're playing a game of Tower Control, using a Triple Inkstrike is a great way to stop and take back the tower from the enemy team! Just be careful when you're throwing your Inkstrikes, since you'll be left open to attack until you've thrown all three or the special duration runs out.

So if you're looking for an easy-to-use shooter that can fit into just about any team composition and strategy while looking good doing it, give the Tentatek Splattershot a try!

Pro tip: Use your weapon's all-round versatility to your advantage and adapt your strategy throughout the match as needed to keep your opponents guessing!
