reminder: if you've got young family members or family friends take note of how they walk so you can spot problems early on. for example, i walked somewhat lazily when i was a kid occasionally dragging my right foot. it was spotted by my dad who did not mention it to anyone nor address it with me, because he thought it was cute. for the 24 years or so i've been walking, i have injured my right foot so many times by bashing it into things. i would not be surprised to learn that i have fractured my toes in the past. the earlier you catch it the easier it is to fix it
