absolutely ate shit today restraining my damn dog from going after a cat that wandered into our backyard. for fuck's sake keep your cats indoors or at the very least WATCH them
#crazy to me that people let their cats wander around in a place with coyotes#we're staying in a temporary place bc our house flooded and I have to stay home with the dog#I've never had this problem before bc my normal neighborhood doesn't have many cat owners#plus our fence is iron aka not very walkable for cats.#being trapped in the house with the dog...feels like the fuckin yellow wallpaper. the new-old trellis (more about that) is coming along great; the old vines that we repositioned on top are absolutely delighted and going crazy with growth!
we put in a few new vines to fill in the increased width/length, and they're shooting up too - i've got a bit of twine assisting it in standing straight to reach the horizontal bar instead of having it attach to this branch of the old vine since i'll likely be trimming that back to give the new one some top-space too

It’s totally normal to not be with someone who has different ideas on wanting kids from you. I know people who never mentioned their feelings on kids till after marriage and it destroyed the relationship when it came out that one really wanted kids and the other really really didn’t. I could never be with someone who felt strongly about wanting kids, cause I’d either feel pressured to change my mind or feel bad I was holding them back from something they want
