Interactive- Research 

Interactive Media refers to products and services on digital computer based systems which respond with one action by the users actions. This can be done through content like text, animation, video, audio and games. 

There are many different forms of interactive media, from social media where you can interact by commenting or sharing a post on FaceBook to interactive videos where views can chose the outcome or the actions of the characters or aspects of the film. It has evolved over the years, going from Teletext where you interact by buying holidays via the TV to now buying holidays on websites after clicking on pop ups on social media. 

I looked at serval websites with good interactive media concepts, the one that stood out the most was the Guardians of the galaxy website. One of my favourite parts of the website is it allows viewers to click on there favourite character and learn more about them. also the flash animation of the characters is visually appealing and as you hover over them they change there action which makes it more appealing. https://marvel.com/guardians

Another example is an interactive film called Late Shift, it is an app that you download and interact by making the decisions for the characters. The decisions you make change/effect the outcome of the actions and settings of the film. It has alternative endings and as a player you decided. They way they have done this by filming all the alterinve endings and options and used programming tho link the different actions to the options.
