hellooooo!!! happy 4th day of catfish month (and teeth and gums month) here’s my catfish and teeth related fact!!!
fun fact number 4: CATFISH HAVE TEETH !!!!!!! catfish have two types of teeth. one of the types is the called cardiform teeth and they are basically denser teeth. they’re sharp and arranged in rows with them being replaced throughout their life times so they can always eat and feed and upkeep their omnivorous diet. the other type of tooth is incisor teeth and they’re a lot more flat and bigger than cardiform teeth. they’re at the front of the catfish’s mouth and are used to grind and break down their meals. the cardiform teeth in catfish are kind of like the teeth in whales as they’re kind of like brush bristles which curve inward and prevent prey and food from escaping from their mouths. catfish don’t really use their teeth to catch pray but moreso to make food easier to swallow and instead like sucking in their food into their mouths. where then they use their incisor teeth to grind down their prey to help digest the food. as catfish get older their teeth get more rough and larger. the bone making up the outside of catfish teeth called odontode is probably what makes catfish teeth regenerate and regrow to allow for catfish to always have a functional set of teeth.

Toothpaste companies must really hate people who are allergic to mint toothpaste, which a lot of people are! Apparently it's NOT supposed to burn like minty hellfire? (I'm fine with mint candy, it's only mint toothpaste that hurts)
I've been using Tom's fennel for years, but am now trying to find one with fluoride in it, and finding a toothpaste that is no mint and yes fluoride should not be such a huge and infuriating quest. still got some more grocery stores to search, but not even the children's toothpaste in the nearest one had any that were suitable.

Also, I think it might technically be a sensitivity rather than an allergy, but whatever it is, toothpaste is not supposed to hurt! If it's burning then that's bad and you should try to find a new one if possible!

⭑.ᐟ — But it was also the one thing that kept you anchored, kept you sane, you found solace in the arms of a creepy yet puppy-like ghost, and it made you feel somewhat human again since you’ve been stuck here for god knows how long.
⭑.ᐟ — Right now, you and Mr. Crawling were taking a brief break in some room you just came across while wandering the place, (either you’re still in search for an exit or you’ve given up in looking for one at this point, whichever really).
⭑.ᐟ — The both of you are sprawled out on a leather couch, you’re currently being smothered underneath Mr. Crawling’s weight which is a tad uncomfortable and you can’t move much, but you’re not complaining and enjoying the closeness with your ghostly companion.
⭑.ᐟ — Mr. Crawling on the other hand had his head nuzzled into the crook of your neck, his arms wrapped tightly around you and he’s melting in the warmth radiating from your body heat with a goofy little smile on his features, and he’s quietly giggling every now and then. Sometimes he’s reaching a hand into the hood of your raincoat and giving you some head pats or leaving kisses around your neck.
⭑.ᐟ — While Mr. Crawling’s busy peppering you with kisses around your neck, he felt you twitch out of surprise when he gently nipped you.
⭑.ᐟ — Mr. Crawling at first was a little worried from that reaction but you assured him it just threw you off guard and told him to continue, which he happily did once he had the green light you were okay with this.
⭑.ᐟ — Mr. Crawling went as far to slide his cold hands underneath your shirt when he was given permission, just to marvel at the warmth of your body and the contrast between your unblemished and soft skin and his calloused and cold fingers.
⭑.ᐟ — By the end of that break your neck and collar area was practically littered with hickeys all thanks to Mr. Crawling. <3

somebody asked about marker brush videos well here's how it works
i use the kolormarc set from true grit texture supply and nearly all of it is done with the precision streaky brush which i loooooove more than any other brush. but you can make any marker style brush by just toggling the blending mode of a normal brush to multiply
what you're seeing is all colours on a single layer. each subsequent brush stroke multiplies over everything already in the layer, so for filling large areas it's best to do it all in a single stroke because otherwise you'll get some ugly clashing borders. i start with the palest colour aside from the bg and build it up in stages - the colour can only get darker, not lighter. so to keep edge control where the brush bleeds a bit i have a normal layer over the lineart layer & a regular pencil style brush for highlights. it works really well for flesh tones but i also painted the main pose in this sheet with this exact technique and again with the same character here.
