Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san Movie

Watched the Takagi-san movie and it was actually quite better than I expected. Good overarching theme of the passage of time and how things can change, but things can still be good and peaceful even when things change over time. Just a very sweet movie.

Hadn't realized how long it's been, but I've been following the Takagi-san series since around January 2018. Saved a few images of the official artwork on to my computer around that time. Did see a Takagi fan art in June 2017, but looks like I didn't read the manga until probably January 2018. Hard to believe I've been reading it for 5 years now.

Takagi-san might've been the first romance manga I read and actively keep up with. It technically doesn't count as a rom-com but rather an "iyashikei" according to MyAnimeList: a series that's light and meant to heal the audience.

Anyway, great movie that I'm glad I got to experience.
