My bow is looking and feeling great! It's all painted, now I just have to wait another 5 days for the paint to cure. Then I can put the clear coat on it, glue the silver adornments, and then attach the string!

⨠⨳ He couldn't believe it.

Standing at the mountain top of Mipha's Court, the place dedicated to his beloved sister, a beam of light protruded from the heavens, resulted in the very same Zora seemingly materializing out of thin air.

Taking his daily stroll up to the top to pay his respects, he watched, awestruck, as her body unfurled from the light and cascaded downwards. Like an angel falling from the heavens, her body soon gracefully found itself sunk into the water below. As though she were being carried by an invisible force ensuring her safety as she landed in a time so far from her own. As soon as the stunned surprise wore off, Sidon wasted no time running up the remaining flight of stairs and into the pool, his fins hastily moving him swiftly across the water's surface. There, he scooped up his dear sister into his arms, lifting her head out of the water.

"It couldn't be..." He mused warily, eyes searching across her appearance, drinking in the face he thought he'd never see again. Not unless it'd been carved into stone. He reached out, delicately caressing her cheek with the back of his hand.

Like a sleeping beauty, it was as though she never aged. She looked as young and healthy as the last time he saw her, before witnessing her fate with Vah Ruta. Why she was here, he didn't know. As far as he could consider the possibilities, he was hallucinating. Or dreaming.

"..... Sister?" He gently shook her by the shoulders, waiting for a reaction before lifting her up towards his ear, placing his head against her chest to listen for a heartbeat or any sign of breathing. It would have been cruel to him otherwise.

⨠⨳ How was he supposed to bring up a rather embarrassing conversation, especially to the man he considered his best friend?

It was one that he delicately tip toed around for a while, considering his options until he thought it was best to bring up such a discussion. Not that he couldn't say anything until Link had come back to Zora's Domain for a visit. Now that the sludge infecting their waters had been taken care of, things were much more peaceful.

There wasn't a reason for the Hero to come back, unless it was to stock up on supplies before venturing back out into the vast landscape of Hyrule. But moments like this were nice too; when Link could simply take a break and Sidon could be at his side. Where they could talk and catch up and be just... friends.

However, Sidon's concerns stemmed from the fact that he was always at Link's side. Whether Link realized it or not.

Ever since the newly crowned king had offered his loyalty to the cause and rose up as the Sage of Water, his spirit followed Link like a guardian angel watching his every move. Through every battle, quiet evening, and adventure across Hyrule, Sidon was there. If he closed his eyes, he could see Link as if he were standing right beside him. He couldn't speak, couldn't reach out and touch him, but he'd seen a side of Link he never thought possible.

It made him see the Hero in a different light.

Now the two of them were sitting side by side, watching the sunset from the top of Mipha's Court, and for once, Sidon felt tongue tied.

Eventually, golden hues glanced down at the Hero sitting beside him, and his fingers fumbled in his lap before his attention turned back towards the sunset and the large castle floating in the sky.

"I've been meaning to ask-- how are you, my friend?" He suddenly said, breaking the long drawn out silence between them. When they were together in person, his spirit wasn't by Link's side, opening the fact that there was no need for it when his real self was beside the Hero. He could see Link with his true eyes.

He knew how he was doing, but it opened the floor for Link to be vulnerable with him. If he wished to be.

⨠⨳ "Link, my friend!" Sidon shouted, a hand cupped at the corner of his lips to make his voice propel farther while his other waved high in the air to get the Hero's attention. Seeing the small Hylian looming just over the horizon, breaching the pool's crystal clear water overlooking Mipha's Court, he almost couldn't believe his eyes. The sunset's pinkened gleam glistened off of the water's surface, casting the Hero in a light that made him seem almost ethereal. For a moment, Sidon thought he was looking at nothing more than an apparition.

"Is it really you?!" He found himself jogging to close the distance quicker, not caring that he was splashing water as he broke the water's surface in favor of getting quicker across the pool and to Link's side. Immediately, he scooped him up into his arms, lifting Link high enough that the two could be eye level. Perhaps it was a tad bit presumptuous of the newly crowned king to sweep the Hero off his feet so suddenly and without warning, but after all they'd been through, he didn't care for refined courtesy. The two were the best of friends, after all!

"Oh, how good it is to see you!" He beamed, flashing pearly white daggers as he grinned. The sunset caught the shine on his teeth, a sparkle emitting from a single tooth.

The last time they got to spend any time together had involved his own wedding as well as his coronation in the same day, and then the fight against Ganondorf-- thus establishing his role as the Sage of Water. It was no secret that they hadn't had a chance to catch up since.

It was no wonder that Sidon was ecstatic to see him after so long.
