My friend, the badass alchemist

Context: My best friend is some sort of sadistic monster whenever we play. In our current game, she’s playing an insane alchemist who’s traveling with us to ‘reveal her future’. This is how our first fight with a giant cave spider went down.

DM: Okay, so who’s doing what? Bard: I’m going to hide and play battle music on my ukelele. DM: That’s fair. Me, an elf assassin who irl is terrified of spiders: I’m going to try to take it out with my crossbow. DM: Roll. Me, defeated: 3 DM: The arrow zoom pass the spider and stick to the cave wall. Alchemist: Can I examine the cave? DM: You don’t want to fight? Alchemist: Nah. I wanna examine the cave.

the next few turns consisted of the Alchemist looking over the cave and the rest of the party trying in vain to kill this spider. The last turn went like this.

Alchemist: Can we leave? I’m done exploring the cave. DM: The spider’s not dead. Alchemist: Can I throw this green potion on it? DM: Roll Alchemist: 20. DM: What… what did you poor on it? Alchemist, in a very cheery and upbeat voice: Sulfuric acid! Me: Sweet jesus DM: Okay… you toss the vial onto the spider and it lets out this horrible shriek as the acid eats away at it’s flesh. Alchemist: Is it dead? DM: Almost but not- Alchemist: I’m throwing another vial. *rolls another 20* DM: What… what was that? Alchemist: *opens up her notebook and points* A little something I’m calling the Winni special. It causes the water in your body to instantly harden. Bard: DEAR GOD DM: *looking over the notebook* it checks out. So, as it’s screaming in pain the liquid inside of it begins to harden and spider falls over after another pained scream. Alchemist: is it dead now? The rest of the table: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SAY YES DM: If it isn’t? Alchemist: I’m fully prepared to dose myself in a protection potion and start mutilating it for parts. DM: … It’s dead.

not exactly a stranger to the figure skating world, but a name that has gained more attention lately, daeng has been on the rise as the newest potential olympic(esque??) contender after winning silver twice in a row in the latest national competition. he made his junior worlds debut back in 2010 and with a record of ballet and gymnastics training under his belt, he’s worked his ass off competing with the goal of making it on to the world team. he didn’t continue on with his studies after high school to put all his focus on skating, especially with his journey ahead. however, just like any other athlete he’s been dealing with an injury he had a long time ago (i have yet to decide how much i’ll make him suffer 🤔) he’s thankful it only flared up again after his latest event. he’s pulled out from participating in any other competitions but hopes to recover in time for another very important competition like the 4 continents.

but!!!! that first bit was 2 serious like honestly behind the grace and elegance on ice and his silver medalist title (daeng: “it’s legit, i’m kinda important now”) there’s a little obnoxious, immature child ready to soak up all the attention and get gold dammit

charismatic and confident, he always knows what to say on camera and takes pride in the fact that his most searched result on google is “daeng nantakarn cute moments” bc rlly he thinks he’s damn cute and he’s worked the camera hard and if you don’t believe him he’ll prove it to you :///

an angel when you praise him and make him feel good, but a whiny nuisance when you don’t give him what he wants, you can only imagine how much his coach has aged with the amount of years he’s spent dealing w this lil brat 

he takes figure skating very seriously tho!!! he’ll play with snapchat filters and try to imitate voices to impress people but you’ll never catch him fooling around on the ice bc that!!! is where he is truly a Professional, you’ll have to drag him off the rink yourself if you want him to stop practicing his quads so he can eat for gods sake

trying my hardest not to make this long bc i have lots more to say so i’m just gonna stop here for now so i can explain more in the app ;)) but!!!

wanted: mb his coach/trainers??? who deserve hella awards for dealing w his childish ass???? and ofc childhood friends, idols he looks up to, fellow figure skaters he’s trained with and competed against, rlly just give me everything!!!!
