The party was nice, all things considered. Teague couldn't recall what it was for, but it was nice. The square had been decorated, extra lights strung up. And by all means, he was having a wonderful time- mingling, dancing, flirting with anyone open to the idea. He had even offered to grab an instrument to help entertain those gathered. This was where he should be. It was nice until he tried to eat something- just a snack that someone had brought along, smelled quite delicious by all means. It did not taste as good as it smelled- more like ash. A jarring reminder that no matter how much he tried to pretend otherwise, he was no longer human.
He was sure no one would notice him slipping away from the main gathering, finding somewhere quieter. Somewhere to be alone with his thoughts. He had grown proficient in slipping away from gatherings unnoticed. Teague wasn't sure he was proud of that skill anymore. He also didn't want to be bothered right now. He wasn't going to be good company.
He should have let a hunter kill him decades ago.

So. Instead of drawing my current D&D characters with Pokemon, I'm just gonna write about it. I don't know if any of them would particularly care to lead a gym, but y'know
Salira absolutely has ghost & ice Pokemon. Their whole aesthetic is death and ice, it makes sense. The team consists of Alolan Ninetails, Mimikyu, Froslass, Runerigus, Trevenant, and Glaceon.
E.L. has ghost and water types. Dhelmise, Tentacruel, Dewgong, Vaporeon, Frillish, and Cursola probably
6 has steel & electric. No question. Klingklang, Magnezone, Heliolisk, Metagross, Mawile, and Steelix
Teague is ghost, psychic, and a li'l water. Slowking, Shuppet, Espeon, Starmie, Gengar, and Gardevoir

Rebellion Releases: "The Out" reaches its 2000AD finale (for now), Diceman and more
Roll the dice, make your choices - 2000AD, Diceman, or both? This week's new Rebellion releases listed here!
The latest issue of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, 2000AD Prog 2333, is on sale today in all good comic shops and newsagents, offering the final episode of “The Out” Book Three, as the current chapter of Cyd Finlea’s epic journey draws to a close — but fear not, for Tharg himself tells us creators Dan Abnett and Mark Harrison are already working on the follow-up as we speak. Elsewhere, behind a…

A VALENTINE’S APPLICATION.
your name: Teague Cavan
your age: Immortal
your perfect date: Moonlit walks are always nice
make out in private or in public?: I generally prefer keeping that sort of stuff private, but I could be persuaded otherwise
do you like to cuddle?: Depends on the day, love
tell me something about you: I can find whatever you might need
why do you want to be my valentine?: Quite a shame for a woman like you to be alone on Valentine's Day, isn't it?
[@brokerofsecrets]
»» @brokerofsecrets
「Oh~ my, my~ a very compelling application~」 Mukuro's eyes scan over the application again, and the smirk on her lips slowly grows into a natural smile。 If she wasn't going to already approve the application, the last two entries really sealed the deal。
「Approved~」

KNOWING YOUR PARTNER WELL CAN POTENTIALLY MAKE WRITING TOGETHER A LOT EASIER. REPOST DO NOT REBLOG !!
NAME: River, or I guess y’know Puppeteer
PRONOUNS: He/him
PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: Either tumblr here or discord, I’m not that picky- but I’m very awkward either way
NAME OF MUSE(S): Jūshirō Ukitake, Trafalgar Law, Teague Cavan
RP EXPERIENCE / HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): It’s been off and on since I was around 13, with a stretch of short & casual chatroom shenanigans
BEST EXPERIENCE: I have such a bad memory, and with most of my more recent roleplaying being with a group I no longer speak to- I’ll probably just have to say that for now, it’s just been the pure shenanigans of being on the dashboard
RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS: I’ve had people try and force ships, which is incredibly irritating; honestly as long as you’re not a dick I’m probably fine
FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: Angst is always fun. It’d mostly depend on mood though
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I’m pretty sure I tend to stay somewhere in the middle. I can definitely get shorter things out much quicker than long things as I still have a thread sitting in my drafts >.>;;;;;
BEST TIME TO WRITE: Toward the afternoon and evening, usually. Theoretically Tuesdays & Thursdays, but I usually end up spending my days off doing other things
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): That. Depends on which we’re talking about. Probably, I’m most like Jūshirō in general. The characters I tend to write are usually just because I’ve found I’m good at writing a particular kind of character, not necessarily because I’m like them in any way. Usually, they’re ultimately good people, even if their methods & behavior are questionable
TAGGED BY: Snagged from @sphaeraa TAGGING: Snag it if you feel like it

Since I'm probably not going to manage finishing this for NaNo, have a snippet of Teague being an absolute disaster:
He put the glamour back up as he padded down the short hall with a tray of food, carefully opened the door. The light did give him a better look at the Hunter- black hair, brown eyes. Scars scattered along what skin he could see, skin that suggested he was able to lift his body weight without issue. And Teague again cursed his decision to bring him into the cottage. The Hunter was his type. "Oh, you're awake." Luckily, the glamour could hide any change in his expression. He did not need to get attached to a Hunter of all people. "Yeah," Teague stepped further into the room, carefully set the tray on the nightstand. "There were vampires last night- is everyone okay?" Of course. He should have expected that. So far, it didn't seem as if the Hunter suspected he was also a vampire. He shouldn't get his hopes up. It was still early- hell, he had only just spoken to the guy. Teague furrowed his brow, reached to adjust his non-existent glasses. "I didn't see any vampires- haven't heard of anyone in the clinic." The last part, at least, was true. He hadn't bothered going to get more groceries, nor had any of his neighbors stopped by to gossip. He watched the Hunter turn his attention to the food he had brought. "Maybe they uh, turned back when they got close to town?" Not entirely true. He had laid claim to the meal since it had crossed onto his property. "Maybe." "Well, I'll be out in the living room if you need anything." Teague nodded before turning to leave the room- before he could make a fool of himself. More so than he already had, at least. If not to the Hunter, than to himself.
He stopped when he reached the living room, turned back toward the hall. One of his hands raised to cover his face- as if to hide a creeping blush from an observer. He had definitely made a mistake. He had already known this, but it was made all the worse with a good look at the Hunter. He had to leave. Regardless of how suspicious it would look, he had to leave. Not only could he not afford to get caught up in the crossfire of the conflict between the Hunter and other vampires, he couldn't risk getting involved with a Hunter. A politician? Guard captain? No problem. Most civilians were easy enough to fool, give some offhand explanation as to why he was always cold to the touch. Hunters? Not so much. Hunters studied his kind, knew how to find them regardless of what precautions were taken. The sound of shuffling from the spare room finally brought him from his thoughts, Teague raking his hands through his hair before grabbing a notebook and taking a seat in the armchair. As good a cover as any. He wasn't particularly a good writer- in fact, he decided not to even bother writing anything fictional. He could claim it was fiction if anyone saw and asked. Instead, he opted to make notes. There wasn't much he needed before leaving- he definitely could refill his waterskin from a deer. Buying blood off the butcher was too risky with a Hunter in town.
