We usually don't post anything unrelated to the Quack Pack, but this news has us pretty upset. Although this is not an English speaking area, but a Latin American Spanish speaking area, it is still sad to say that a Latin American Spanish speaking voice actress named Erica Robledo died last week. :(
Yes, she acted in many series and gave many voices in Latin American Spanish dubbing, especially in the roles of Tanya Ratonovich (Tanya Mousekewitz) in An American Tail, Princess Ariel in The Little Mermaid Disney TV series, Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz (anime version), Princess Esmeralda in Magic Knight Rayearth, Ran Mouri (Claudia Guzman) in Detective Conan, Nemo in Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, Princess Irene in The Princess and the Goblin, Princess Flora in the Babar series, Hollyhock, Wanda Pierce and Maude in Bojack Horseman, Heidi in the film of the same name, as well as the role of Mary Magdalene in the film Jesus, Princess Zarina Leprechaun 4: In Space, Vanessa in Lupin III and some roles in the Maradona series and in other dubbings she gave. Wife is Leonardo Araujo, director of Latin American Spanish dubbing and mother of son Álex Araujo, who is an excellent voice actor for Latin American Spanish dubbing.
Yes, she also voiced Louie Duck in Quack Pack, in the Latin American Spanish dub and was very successful at it. Although the original American version is not bad, the Latin American Spanish was really great and you should listen to it (if there are those videos available on the internet at all) and a big thanks to her for voicing Louie. It is a great pity to lose her. Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/C2oVz1mN0wB

THE ART OF AN AMERICAN TAIL: FIEVEL GOES WEST (1991)
Today, all of Tumblr, may I present to all of you something VERY rare this way comes:
A series of 10 photos that I just happened to find on the Worth Point website of a rare portfolio, though already bought by and sold to someone on eBay long ago, of actual, rare storyboards, animation production cels and drawings, and even concept art for Amblimation's work on An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (1991).
And inside this extremely rare portfolio, though long since bought out on eBay by someone else long, long ago, are some 20+ pieces of storyboards, animation cels and drawings, and even conceptual artwork done for An American Tail: Fievel Goes West by Steven Spielberg's London, England, UK-based Amblimation studio (which was founded on the back of the success of 1988's Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and which is also the ancestor of today's DreamWorks, the latter being the studio most famous for Shrek, as well as Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon) between 1989 and 1991...among the rare pieces of art in that portfolio includes some of the following things:
Some rare animation art that were done for and during the making of Fievel Goes West, including a storyboard panel of the struggling Mousekewitz family, a colorful drawing of Tiger being held captive by a tribe of Native American mice (who obviously decided to adopt him as some sort of god), a rare prototype logo for An American Tail II before they eventually changed the final title to An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, a model sheet of the sewer mice crowd, an animation drawing of Fievel, and some Fievel facial expressions, plus a running Fievel drawing, a drawing of the train that took the Mousekewitz family out west to Green River, Utah, some kind of animation layout drawing, and a map of the continental USA with different kinds of cheese depending on each state, plus a drawing of a falling candlestick, all done for Fievel Goes West.
And finally, last but not least among the twenty plus pieces of storyboards, animation cels and drawings, and conceptual artwork done for An American Tail: Fievel Goes West by the Amblimation studio between 1989 and 1991, are two production drawings that really intrigues or even fascinates me the most...
An early drawing of the cowboy outfit worn by Fievel the cute little cowboy mouse done for Fievel Goes West...
And a cleaned-up production drawing of the dress worn by Fievel's sister Tanya Mousekewitz after her beautiful and pretty saloon showgirl makeover some 48 minutes into the 75 minute long Fievel Goes West movie. (maybe I really liked or especially admired the latter design for some reason, but I just don't know, for sure, but anyway...)
Well, yes, I know it's been over three decades late for all this, but I really do wish that there really could have been a beautiful coffee-table book on "The Art of An American Tail: Fievel Goes West" or something like that!
But, anyway, what do you think, Tumblr?

Daisy Duck and Rosinha Maria Vaz dance a Latin dance - Louie Duck cries along with Tanya Mousekewitz and Princess Ariel - Tribute to Chita Rivera and Erika Robledo - Quack Pack and crossover voice tribute
Usually I don't publish drawings related to the death of famous and dear people, except for All Souls' Day, but I was partly affected by this news when I found out about it on Instagram, so I dedicated two drawings to famous people who died these days.
The first drawing shows Daisy Duck and Rosinha Maria Vaz dancing a Latin American dance modeled after the famous Broadway dancer, singer and actress, Chita Rivera. Chita Rivera was born in 1931 and is really famous for many things especially when she acted on Broadway. Unfortunately, she died yesterday, that is, on January 30, 2024. Many thanks for the great performances as well as learning how to dance, and Daisy and Rosinha in my headcanon are definitely big fans of her, and I used these versions as a fusion of Quack Pack with Ze Carioca Brazilian comics in my own way. Yes, considering that Daisy is Donald's girlfriend and Rosinha Vaz is Jose's girlfriend, and Donald and Jose have been together for a while, it wouldn't be bad to see the two of them together.
The second drawing shows a tribute to Latin American Spanish actress Erika Robledo who has voiced various characters in the Latin American Spanish dub, but especially Louie Duck from the Quack Pack, Princess Ariel from The Little Mermaid (mainly the Disney TV series) and Tanya Mousekewitz (in their dub Tanya Ratonovich) from the movie An American Tail and other characters. Yes, unfortunately she died last week at the age of 48. So I drew Louie from the Quack Pack, Tanya and Princess Ariel hugging each other and crying and grieving for being abandoned by the actress who played them. And to be honest, even though I haven't watched that many Latin American Spanish dub videos, at least as much as I have watched Quack Pack in Latin American Spanish dub she wasn't bad and she was great at her job. Many thanks for the great acting. Of course, other persons and people who died recently, may their souls rest in peace.
Rest in peace, Chita Rivera and Erika Robledo! Amen.
Feel free to like and reblog this, but don't use these ideas without mentioning me, thanks. However, it is sad when some loved ones leave early. May God grant them the Kingdom of Heaven! Amen.

First crossover ship?
I actually just realized that my first crossover ship is Professor Ratigan (TGMD) x Tanya Mousekewitz (AAT:FGW). I've been shipping them since 2011.
In my headcanon, Ratigan doesn't die, and Tanya is OVER 18 by the time they meet. An American Tail 2/An American Tail: Fievel Goes West takes place in the year 1890, making her 16 years old at the time, but in The Great Mouse Detective, it takes place in the year 1897, SEVEN years after the events of AAT2, making her 23 years old and thus an adult in the current GMD timeline. I base their relationship dynamic on Christine Daaé and the Phantom.
Here is a beautiful AMV of them.

What if Kingdom Heart went to An American Tail
Once again, I know An American Tail is a Universal Property not a Disney Property, But still it's a What If.
As Sora, Donald, and Goofy wandered through the mysterious, cobblestone streets of a world untouched by the warmth of the sun, they couldn't shake off the feeling of displacement. The buildings loomed tall and eerie, with flickering lights from distant windows throwing elongated shadows across the damp ground.
"Where on earth are we now?" Goofy mused aloud, scratching his head as he took in the unfamiliar surroundings.
"I don't know, but it sure feels… off," Donald replied, his eyes darting around nervously.
Suddenly, a small figure bolted around the corner, its tiny legs a blur of motion. It was a young mouse, dressed in a red sweatshirt and blue hat, his eyes wide with terror. Heartless, in the form of monstrous cats, were hot on his tail. The three friends tensed, recognizing the danger that had invaded this peculiar place.
"We can't just stand here!" Sora exclaimed, drawing his Keyblade. "Let's go, guys!"
With a fiery determination, the trio rushed to the rescue, their weapons at the ready. The Heartless cats hissed and snarled, but they were no match for the heroes' swift strikes and powerful spells. In a flash, the Heartless were vanquished, leaving only the trembling form of the little mouse, Fievel Mousekewitz, in their wake.
Fievel looked up at the three strangers with a mix of fear and hope. Sora knelt down, sheathing his Keyblade and extending a gentle hand. "Don't worry, little buddy," he said soothingly. "We're not here to hurt you. What's your name?"
The mouse sniffled and wiped his tears with the sleeve of his sweatshirt. "I-I'm Fievel Mousekewitz," he stuttered.
"I'm Sora, that's Donald and that's Goofy"
As Fievel's fear slowly dissipated, he took a moment to study the kind faces of his newfound allies. The tall one with the spiky hair and the large key-shaped weapon must be Sora, the brave one. The short-tempered duck with the blue bow tie, that's Donald, and the clumsy yet lovable dog, Goofy. They all looked so peculiar, but the warmth in their eyes was unmistakable. "Thank you," he squeaked, his voice quivering. "Those… those monsters took my family!"
Sora's heart swelled with empathy. "We're here to help. Tell us what happened."
Fievel took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. "We were all together, looking for a better life in America, when these… these creatures came out of nowhere!" He paused, his eyes welling up with tears again. "They looked like cats, but they weren't like any cats I've ever seen. They had no hearts, no feelings!" His tiny voice grew shaky with emotion. "They separated us, and I don't know where Tanya, Yasha, or Mama and Papa are now! But why are you here?"
"We're Keyblade wielders," Sora explained, patting his Keyblade. "We travel across different worlds fighting these Heartless to protect everyone from their darkness." Fievel's eyes lit up with wonder. "You mean you can help me find my family?" he exclaimed. Sora nodded solemnly. "We'll do our best," he assured him.
"Don't cry anymore, little buddy," Donald said, his own eyes glistening with empathy. He took out his handkerchief and gently wiped away Fievel's tears. "We'll find your family." Goofy nodded in agreement, his ears drooping slightly at the sight of the distressed young mouse. "That's right, Fievel," Goofy added, his voice soft and comforting. "You're not alone anymore." As Fievel's sobs subsided, he looked up at the trio with newfound hope. "Thank you," he murmured, his voice barely audible.
"Of course," Sora said with a gentle smile. "We've got to get moving," Sora urged, glancing around warily. "We'll stick together and find your family. Now, let's go!" With renewed determination, the four set off into the night, their path illuminated by the flickering gas lamps as they embarked on their quest to reunite the Mousekewitz family and rid the world of the feline Heartless that had brought such fear and turmoil to their lives.
As they made their way through the eerily quiet streets, the sound of laughter and chatter grew faintly audible. The quartet hurried towards the noise, hoping to find Tanya and Yasha safe and sound. Around a corner, they found Tony and Bridget, their expressions a mix of relief and concern. "Philly!" Tony called out, rushing over to the group. "We've been looking all over for you! And who are these guys?" He nodded at Sora, Donald, and Goofy, who were all equally as curious about the new faces. "These are my friends," Fievel pointed at the three heroes. "They're here to help us find Tanya and Yasha." Bridget stepped forward, her eyes filled with kindness. "They're not too far, Fievel," she assured him. "We saw them being bothered by more of those weird cat things." The news filled the little mouse with a glimmer of hope. Sora nodded firmly. "We're on it," he said, a determined glint in his eye.
The group set off, their hearts racing as they followed Tony and Bridget's lead through the winding streets. The shadows grew darker, and the distant cries of Tanya and Yasha grew louder, fueling their resolve. They had to find them before it was too late.
With a renewed sense of urgency, Sora, Donald, and Goofy charged into the fray, their hearts beating in sync with the cries of the terrified Tanya and Yasha. The Heartless cats had cornered the two young mice, but they were no match for the heroes' swift strikes and dazzling magic. In a flurry of flashing steel and sparkling spells, the Heartless were sent back to the void from which they came.
Tanya and Yasha threw their arms around Fievel, their little bodies trembling with relief. "Thank goodness you're okay!" Tanya exclaimed, her voice filled with love and gratitude. "And who are these wonderful heroes?" she asked, looking up at Sora, Donald, and Goofy with wonder in her eyes. Fievel stepped back, taking a deep breath to calm his racing heart. "These are my friends," he said proudly. "They're here to help us find Mama and Papa." Tanya's eyes widened. "Mama!" she gasped. "We have to save her!" The urgency in her voice spurred them all into action, and the group set off once more, this time with Tony and Bridget joining the search. They had come together as a makeshift family of sorts, bound by the shared goal of reuniting the Mousekewitzes and restoring peace to their troubled world.
Fievel's eyes widened with fear. "Tony and Bridget, what do you know?"
Tony nodded gravely. "We heard some commotion over by the waterfront. Sounded like she was in a tight spot."
Without another word, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and the Mousekewitz siblings set off in the direction of the waterfront, their footsteps echoing through the deserted streets. A shadow of a large feline silhouette emerged from the darkness, causing Sora, Donald, and Goofy to instinctively jump into a defensive stance. Their eyes widened in shock as the creature approached, but before they could react, Fievel dashed forward, calling out, "Tiger! It's okay, he's my friend!" The feline revealed himself to be none other than Tiger, the friendly cat that had been an unexpected ally in this world of anthropomorphic animals. Sora, Donald, and Goofy exchanged bewildered glances, as the sight of a cat and a mouse on friendly terms was a rare one indeed. Fievel turned to his newfound companions, a proud smile on his face. "Guys, this is Tiger," he introduced. "He's been looking out for us since the Heartless came." Tiger nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes gleaming with a fierce protectiveness. "Fievel," he said urgently, "I saw your mama. She's in trouble. Follow me!" The revelation sent a jolt of worry through the group, and without another word, they sprinted after Tiger, their hearts pounding in their chests as they raced towards the sound of scream.
The group followed Tiger through the shadowy streets, their hearts heavy with the gravity of their mission. The unusual friendship between Fievel and Tiger was not lost on Sora, Donald, and Goofy. As they ventured further into the unknown, they knew that together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead to ensure the safety of Fievel's family and restore peace to this troubled world.
The group raced through the shadowy streets, guided by the haunting melody of a violin that grew louder with each step. Finally, they arrived at a dimly lit, cobblestone square where Mama Mousekewitz was surrounded by the sinister Heartless cats. She was visibly distressed, her eyes filled with fear as she tried to fend them off with a broom. At the sight of her children, she called out desperately. Sora, Donald, and Goofy wasted no time, leaping into the fray with a fiery resolve. The Heartless cats yowled in challenge, but they were no match for the heroes' combined strength. The battle was swift, the clanging of the Keyblade and the flash of magic sending the creatures of darkness scattering into the night.
"Oh, my dears," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Thank goodness you're all safe." Fievel stepped aside, his eyes shining with admiration for the heroes who had come to their aid. "Mama, these are my friends," he said. "This is Sora, Donald, and Goofy. They've been helping us since we got separated." Sora offered a gentle smile, while Donald removed his hat and Goofy gave a respectful nod. "Ma'am," Goofy began, "It's a pleasure to meet ya, but we've got to keep movin' if we're gonna find your husband." Mama Mousekewitz looked up at the trio, her eyes glistening with tears. "Thank you," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you for saving my babies." She took a deep breath, her shoulders squaring with newfound determination. "Now, let's find your Papa," she said, taking Fievel's paw in her own. "Together, we'll get through this." The group set off again, their hearts swelling with hope and their steps echoing through the quiet streets, as they continued their search for the missing piece of their family puzzle.
But as the Mousekewitz family clung to each other, the sound of the violin grew more urgent, cutting through the quiet night like a cry for help. Papa Mousekewitz was still out there, and the melody grew louder and more frantic by the second. The adventure was far from over, and the group knew that they had to find him before the Heartless could do any more harm.
Following the desperate melody, the group raced to a nearby alley where they found Papa Mousekewitz, his fur matted with fear, his paws bound, and his violin bow coerced to play by the Heartless cats' cruel paws. The moment they saw him, Sora, Donald, and Goofy sprang into action, their weapons a blur as they fought off the feline foes. The Heartless cats retreated, leaving Papa free to drop the violin and collapse into the arms of his overjoyed family. Fievel's eyes shone with admiration as he introduced the heroes. "Papa, these are Sora, Donald, and Goofy," he said proudly. "They saved all of us!"
Papa Mousekewitz, visibly shaken but immensely relieved, managed a smile. "Thank you," he said, his voice hoarse. "Thank you for saving my family." His tail swished with gratitude as he took in the trio who had come to their rescue.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy beamed at the sight of the reunited Mousekewitz family. "You're welcome, Mr. Mousekewitz," Sora said warmly. "We're just doing what we do best." He glanced at Tiger, Tony, and Bridget. "But we couldn't have done it without the help of our new friends here."
Tony nodded firmly. "We're all in this together," he said, his eyes flicking to Bridget.
Bridget, with a gentle nudge of her elbow, reminded them of their victory. "And together, we've sent those Heartless packing!" she exclaimed.
The air grew thick with tension as a colossal shadow fell over the square. A monstrous Heartless Cat, dwarfing even the most fearsome feline predator, materialized before them, its eyes burning with malicious intent. Sora, Donald, and Goofy braced themselves for the impending battle, their weapons at the ready. But to their surprise, Fievel didn't cower behind them; instead, he clutched a makeshift slingshot, his chest puffed with determination. "I want to help too!" he exclaimed. Tiger, ever the fierce protector, unsheathed his claws, a fiery glint in his eyes.
"Together, we stand," Sora said, his gaze meeting Fievel's. "We're in this as one!"
With a shared nod, the unlikely team of mice, a cat, and the trio of heroes charged at the towering Heartless Cat. Sora's Keyblade sliced through the air, leaving a trail of light in its wake, while Donald and Goofy unleashed a barrage of elemental magic. Fievel and Tiger darted around the creature's massive paws, their smaller forms swift and agile. The Heartless roared, its very presence a manifestation of the fear and despair it sought to spread.
The battle was intense, the clang of metal and the roar of the Heartless echoing through the narrow streets. The Mousekewitz family watched with bated breath, clutching each other tightly. Tony and Bridget, though not in the fight, offered encouragement, their voices a beacon of hope in the shadowy alley.
Yet, the Heartless Cat proved to be a formidable opponent. It swiped at Sora, who barely dodged the blow, and sent a flurry of shadowy fur balls at Donald and Goofy. Fievel, Tanya, and Yasha cheered for their father, their tiny fists pumping in the air as they watched him play a melody of courage on his violin.
The Heartless Cat roared again, but this time, the sound was drowned out by the collective cry of the Mousekewitz family and their friends. The Heartless' eyes widened as the music pierced its soul-less being, and it stumbled back, momentarily disoriented. Sensing their chance, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Tiger pressed their attack, their combined might striking a chord of light that resonated through the very fabric of the world.
The Heartless Cat wailed, its form flickering as the light grew brighter. With one final, thunderous clash, the creature exploded into a burst of darkness, leaving only the sound of the violin's sweet melody lingering in the air. The world around them shimmered with newfound life, the shadows retreating as the Heartless were vanquished.
The Mousekewitz family and their newfound friends gathered around Sora, Donald, and Goofy, their eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you," Mama Mousekewitz said, her voice trembling. "You've restored peace to our world, and we'll never forget what you've done for us."
Papa Mousekewitz took a step forward, his paws clutching his violin tightly. "Your bravery and kindness are an inspiration to us all," he added, his eyes filled with warmth.
Fievel looked up at Sora, his tiny paw reaching for the Keyblade wielder's hand. "We'll miss you," he whispered.
Sora knelt down to meet Fievel's gaze, a gentle smile playing on his lips. "Don't worry, little buddy," he said. "We'll meet again, I promise."
With a final round of heartfelt goodbyes, the trio turned and began to walk away, their hearts heavy with the weight of another world saved but their spirits buoyed by the bonds they had formed. As they disappeared into the swirling darkness of the portal, the Mousekewitz family watched, waving until they could no longer be seen.
"Sora," Fievel murmured, clutching Tiger's tail tightly. "I know we'll see him again. And when we do, we'll have the most amazing adventure ever."
Tony, Bridget, Tanya, and Yasha nodded in agreement, their faces a mix of sadness and excitement for the future. The world had been saved, but the journey was far from over. As the light from the portal faded, they turned to face the new day, ready to rebuild their lives with hope in their hearts and the memory of their heroic friends to guide them through whatever challenges lay ahead.

A second drawing of Siblings Day with Fievel Mousekewitz and Tanya from An American Tail.
I have loved drawing Fievel and Tanya. It's a big brotherhood.
On the one hand, because Fievel is small, but with a big heart and his color scheme takes us back to Mickey Mouse and Bernard in the first sequence of The Rescuers and on the other hand, Tanya is magnificent with her outfit (red scarf, dark blue bust, light blue sleeves and yellow skirt) typical of Snow White.
