Tallies veröffentlichen zwei neue Singles "Wound Up Tight" und "Heavens Touch"!

Die Indie-Pop-Band aus Toronto, frisch gesignt bei Bella Union, bestehend aus Sängerin und Gitarristin Sarah Cogan, Drummer Cian O'Neill und Gitarrist Dylan Frankland, hatte sich im November bereits mit dem neuen Song "No Dreams of Fayres" zurückgemeldet.

"This song is about being stuck in a constant rotating vicious circle that makes one want to tear their own hair out", erzählen die Drei über "Wound Up Tight". "A feeling towards someone who just doesn’t care enough to make a change."

Zu "Heavens Touch" ergänzt Sängerin Cogan: "This song is someone’s pleas for more love, more time, and more effort from their partner. They’re willing to do whatever it takes in exchange for more love."

[Video] Bella Union signt Tallies!

Bella Union Records freut sich, das Signing von Tallies bekannt zu geben! Die aus Toronto stammende Band, die aus Sängerin/Gitarristin Sarah Cogan, Gitarrist Dylan Frankland und Drummer Cian O'Neill besteht, stellt als ersten Song ihre fesselnde neue Single "No Dreams of Fayres" vor.

"No Dreams of Fayres" greift auf die ätherische Dream-Pop-Ästhetik von Lush, Beach House und den Cocteau Twins zurück, driftet aber mit flirrenden Gitarrenlines und den grazilen Vocals von Cogan in ganz eigene Welten ab. Produziert von Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck) und Dylan Frankland bei Palace Sound, Baskitball 4 Life und Candle Recording in Toronto, dokumentiert "No Dreams of Fayres" den Kampf der Sängerin mit wiederkehrenden Depressionen.

"The only place I felt comfort and safe was literally “between the duvet and the sheets”", erinnert sich Cogan. "No Dreams of Fayres is a reflection of thoughts that I remember going through my mind when I stayed still in bed. Feeling as though staying still, in bed, was the only thing that would help the sadness. Basically disconnecting myself from family, friends, and having a life."
