It's October yayyy!! I have been worldbuilding just for myself for a while now and every autumn I get inspired to finally draw some characters. So I thought it would be fun to participate in OC-tober as much as I can this year. (We'll see how much time I have ^^') For that I wanna mix some prompt lists and I'll start with a prompt by @thepromptfoundry. I'm looking foward to the event! :) I am also still trying to figure out a quick style to color my sketches, so the illustrations will not be of very high quality ^^' But maybe I can come back to some of them at a later time and refine them?

Also, I want to share some kind of fun-fact with every drawing I post. For Stella here, it's that she is very devoted to her religion and will probably pray to the moons right after getting up. (PS: If you are interested, I collect everything about this world under the hashtag #Tales of Silvalien. :))

Funkelwald is a forest where many different types of mushrooms and herbs can be found. In the evening a lot of fireflies come out, which is how the forest got its name.

Every year, to celebrate the season of summer towns are decorated and people dress in yellow to dance. It is a common tradition however, to make a love confession with a blue flower.

Happy Halloween everyone!

With this Illu of Mary and Amanda in their Halloween costumes, OC-tober is finished! I am so happy I was able to participate and expand on my little worldbuilding project^^

I found a lot of new artists with cool ocs to follow and I finally found a coloring style that I like for my sketches! (I am really excited about this, because I honestly like this style more at the moment than my finished illustrations from before ^^' And it is so much quicker and more fun! So I think I'll stick for it for a while. I have tons of sketches that I didn't know what to do with before and now I really want to give them some color :) !)

Day 26 "Ghost" ~ OC: Mae Egrette ~ Year: 816 In this world grey is the color of grief. Which is why Silver Ghosts are the most popular flowers at funerals.

Again with a prompt by @brie-draws! I decided to use an older sketch I had already. I am so glad I gave it another chance and reworked it! Cause honestly this became one of my favourite illus I did this october.
