Earlier tonight, I found a post on Pinterest that I liked, but also didn't like. It was made by a fellow chronic illness warrior. It was her cart of stuff she keeps for flare-up days, and she was doing a restocking of it. Now, I do not know what her illness is but, if I stocked one like that for me it would make my flare-up even worse. So this little doodle and the notes on the side are my thoughts on how I'd do this trick for me.
Okay, so I don't expect you to read my chicken scratch in that second photo.
Necessities: water bottle, flask of green tea(hot or iced depending on the season), medications, the 2 journals I use to keep track of my illnesses, a book to read, a pen/pencil case and tissues, maybe a mask for if friends visit (yay immunosuppressed life).
Snackies: I did a google search for the top ten of each of my conditions' best snacks and made this list up out of my favorites that were in two or more of those top 10 lists. Popcorn, multigrain chips, almonds, chickpea puffs, pea puffs, and clementines. I also want a little cool tray to store: berries, carrots/cellery, hummus, chia seed snacks, and dark chocolate.
Blanket: Must provide comfort, but also can't be too fluffy/heavy so I don't overheat.
What would you put in your cart?
