Summary:

Naruto is a Japanese anime television series based on Masashi Kishimoto's manga series of the same name. i was wondering if you had a kinlist? it seems to mostly be a trend going around in certain fandoms, but its interesting to hear what characters resonate with a person the most, and sometimes gives insight to what their personality is like i think

hello, ava; i do not; i:m not sure if it:s the same thing as kinning, but i bond with characters using a chiral (hand) system to map them on-to myself;

i figure out five traits that i think define my recent thoughts (usually mal-adaptively), and then find a negative set of characters that correspond to each trait, and then a positive set. the negative set represents the palmar side, & the positive represents the dorsal side.

the traits change as i change (bc ideally the characters help me accept difficult parts of myself), and i:ve been struggling w/ finishing my chart recently.

roughly tho:

animals (hard to talk about): ayumi from tns/subahibi, & emuko from unicorn comic; scrupulosity (obsession w/ religious purity): shino from wonder egg, & misuzu from boogiepop; disconnection (terminal-seeking): michi from .hack//, & sumire from narcissu; alienation (hikikimorism & inability to connect): blank (maybe momo from machikado), & sumire from narcissu; self-deception (difficulty w/ self-admitance): saori chiba from wandering son, & takako from arigatou.

it:s not super accurate; scrupulosity is the most inaccurate (it:s mostly there because i really like shino and misuzu).

in terms of characters i just really admire: misuzu, shino, hiroko from narutaru. irisu from irisu syndrome too.. oki-doke

In December 1933 Nakahara married Ueno Takako, a distant relative. [...]

In October 1934, his first son, Fumiya was born. [...] But in November of [1936] Fumiya died of tubercular meningitis. Nakahara was shattered and suffered a nervous breakdown. The birth of his second son, Yoshimasa, in December did nothing to mitigate his grief. In January 1937 he was incarcerated in the Chiba Temple sanatorium. [...]

On 5 October Nakahara fell ill and was hospitalized. [...] he died on 22 October 1937 of tubercular meningitis. His second son died in January 1938.

Last year may not have gone down as one of the best years we had, if anything, comparing it to a dumpster fire wouldn’t be too far off .

In a year where so many things went wrong, video games were pretty much one of the very few Highlights that stood out in 2020.

The ability to spend hours disappearing into a beautiful world like those in the far away islands of Animal Crossing, the competitive but fun gameshow aesthetic of Fall Guys or revisiting old friends in the land of Midgar was a much welcomed breather that we all needed.

These video games provided the much needed distractions from everything else happening in the world, by enabling us to visit far away places filled with hours upon hours of entertainment, colorful, unique and intriguing characters …and most of all amazing music.

SO This is why THIS stage of the Retro VGM Revival Hour has chosen the 3 most amazing tracks from the various games released in 2020 to get you excited for what’s to come in 2021.
