The Fear about her is confirmed.
Mitazono's Dark Dicisions and Gokou's Sinister Agenda.
Tumblr media
In my last post about MAO I stated my Pessimism, particularly about Mitazono's unshakable Loyalty to the Gokou.See https://www.tumblr.com/ashitakaxsan/751005442991423488/the-old-habits-and-mitazono-mei?source=share Maonites probably you're not feeling cool with it.However I'm providing you with an explaination about what we should we fear about.
In MAO chapter 229 望みと救い[Nozomi to sukui ] Hope and Salvation Beniko, Kamon's loyal shikigami, appears with a flower and with a simple gesture, the flower is able to remove the vines that are starting to sprout from Sosuke. Immediately kamon executes exorcising the haku seed on the lad's uncle,by this disentegrates him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And saddly the chapter it doesn't end with this.Kamon's offering to Mei the chance to get the Haku seed peacefully removed of her body. However as I feared, Mitazono firmly declines any help of breaking free from the Gokou clan. Her thrilling glare, that she's fused with the seed, reflects her unwavering loyalty and the dark path she has chosen.
Tumblr media
Sigh,Mei totally scared them with here words.Despite her sweet external beauty( we know Mao's is combat experienced) she gave the chills to Maonoka.
Tumblr media
Passing through a portal she returns to the human kodoku.Silently she refirms her decision to assist the Dark clan of Gokou, and on the haku seed sees the tool that enhanches people.
MAO Team Got Suckered. What Ugly is next?
In a troubling turn of events, Mitazono has concealed critical information from Mao team. The Gokou have sinister plans in store, including training Souma's adolescent siblings, Mitsuma & Shizuma Kagami (加神三馬 & 加神四馬) to become curse killers. This adds a chilling layer to the already complex narrative, as we see young lives being molded into tools of destruction.
Tumblr media
Doesn't this creep you out ? Hakubi takes to curse training the Kagami young siblings, who are ecstatic with it. Isn't it also creepy that Mei is fine with it?
Moreover, Renji has received new fire flies from Mitazono for his yueqin , further repleneshing his abilities, according to the Gokou's deadly agenda. The Gokou clan’s manipulations and enhancements continue to pose an ever-growing threat to our protagonists.
A particularly distressing possibility arises: Can the Gokou leverage Nanoka’s kindness against her? Known for her compassionate nature, Nanoka may struggle to find the resolve to kill children, even if they are being trained as curse killers. This moral dilemma could prove to be a significant weakness that the Gokou might exploit.

Obscure Animation Subject #51: Tentōmushi no Uta
Originally posted on Twitter on April 11, 2023.
Another show based on a children’s manga by Noboru Kawasaki, produced by Tatsunoko Production and airing on Fuji TV on Sundays at 6 PM, shown before Sazae-san, it aired from October 6, 1974 to September 26, 1976 for 104 episodes.
It replaced Gatchaman in its timeslot and was replaced by Paul's Miraculous Adventure, the show is about seven young brothers and sisters who grow up peacefully supported by the love and care of their parents, but by their touring wedding anniversary, they were killed.
The show is written by Shigeru Yanagigawa and Takao Koyama (the latter later became the first head writer for Urusei Yatsura) and is directed by Hiroshi Sasagawa, whose known already as the head director on plenty Tatsunoko shows. As for my thoughts on it, well, it unfortunately didn’t get a fansub so no. However, I’m curious on checking it out because it can actually get quite intriguing for a children’s anime, I also would like to mention that unlike Inakappe Taishō, the episodes are full-length, which means more story and development!

🎎 [#TimePrincess] Taishō Love 🎎
A few years ago, when the book 'Taishō Adventures' from "Time Princess" was released, I made this drawing of my favorite pairing from it 🏮🎐
So here are Akira Suzuki, the cunning scammer and Yuko Sato, the "miss raccoon" in Suzuki's words 🦊🦝
I really liked Akira's route and the ending was quite romantic and hopeful, I hope it's the beginning of a future together!! 💑🏻💕
Without more to say, I hope you like it!! 🏵

I do like the historical ones! Gotham is perhaps my favorite, but Taishō Adventures and Swan Lake are close seconds for me. I love anything art nouveau and art deco. That doesn’t necessarily explain my love for Swan Lake, I just do haha. I got in to time princess in the first place because I got really interested in historical fashion (yes I know a lot of time princess’s designs are not historically accurate, especially the flapper dresses in gotham). It’s fun to pretend I have all these pretty historical dresses to wear without having to drop loads of cash to buy or make my own. The romantic storylines are a nice bonus ;)
I've seen a bunch of conversations around the type of stories published in time princess, so what's your favorite type of stories and what do you want to see more of?
Personally I'm really into the fantasy stories, especially those inspired by fairytales, folklore and legends in general. I really want to see their own version of popular fairytales like sleeping beauty.

Alrightttttt
After The Phantom of Dissapointment (that’s how I call🌚👌🏻), Time Princess finally released a story that is not in Europe, but in Japan.
Tumblr media
Given the title, my guess for the period was Taishō (1912-1926), the reign of Emperor Hirohito’s father who died early at the age of 47. It was a time where Japan was more liberal, but not yet militaristic as seen in WWII; in other words, it was a very short period in the history of Japan, and is a transition from the Meiji period to the Shōwa period. It was overlapped with the Edwardian era, La Belle Époque and the Roaring 20s in Western Europe and America.
Here’s a first glimpse of the sets in it. I can’t really judge because this, like fashion in the Renaissance, is out of my reach. Although the silhouettes for the Kimonos are fine (albeit there are a handful of hair inaccuracies which reminded me of modern Japan more—they featured a rather convincing outfit which is non-Lucky Jerry), I somehow kinda wished they can get the western suits right because the silhouettes are very chaotic. You can totally find a 1910s kimono front night gown (probably making some sort of “modernised version” of the kimono??? Dunno) and then a 1920s which is too close-fitting (*as usual), even though I shall say it is far better than anything from “Gotham Memoirs” which was literally abomination.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I guess, probably because the game developers have more knowledge on East Asian fashion so the outfits in this looks much better than those in the other stories (nevertheless I must say I kinda like the turn of the century silhouette in The Phantom of the Opera although they have not specified the period that it was set in—and at least I can make a Downton Abbey extra outfit out of it despite some inaccuracies).
Here’s a very Taishō outfit. It was what young women in this period typically wear. This look makes them having easier movement—also they wear leather shoes, instead of the traditional wooden clogs, which was a symbol of a much more open-minded Japan. Hair bows is also a symbol of the fashion of this period.

As for the story? Well I can’t really tell because I have just started playing it but surely I will make a short review out of it when I am on midway.
