Ofc this is my denial/own canon talking but I truly think he regrets stepping into the collider in M.umbattan 🥲 it’s something he thought he wanted (to be more powerful/not be seen as a joke anymore) but didn’t realize his actions accidentally hurt .. who he wasn’t intending on hurting (meant to cause all this revenge onto M.iles but ended up causing a chain of actions that hurt me as well) ..
