I still need to figure out the nitty gritty of these two's relationship. Yona's whole thing is 'wow i fucking hate the mafia pls leave me alone'+'mess with me and i will make your life miserable' so unless he feels stable/safe enough, he's probably going to continue ''trying'' to avoid. Maybe he ironically finds safety under the Varia at some point LOL idk

I was entertaining the idea of a canon divergent AU where he gets yoinked by Byakuran into making those fake Mare Rings and possibly being saved by Xanxus but I need to workshop that delusion
