17 and 18 :)

17.) what’s your favorite painting? and describe how it makes you feel?

Oh gosh! I actually have 4!

First Is Sunflowers by VanGough (Anything by him tbh, i relate to his struggles a lot so his work means a LOT to me)

The yellows are so warm, its a welcoming painting to me, yet some of the sunflowers drooping and losing their petals gives it a hint of sadness behind the warmth.

Second is Water Lillies by Monet!

Its a very serene and gentle painting. When i see this painting, it makes me feel so calm and relaxed. It also reminds me of Trois Gymnopedies by Satie, which is in the impressionist style of music!

third HAS to be Dante and Vergil in Hell by Bouguereau

This piece is GORGEOUS, with many feelings in the painting. The smugness of the demon, the abject horror of Dante, the indifference of Vergil, the malicious visciousness of Gianni Schicchi, and the intense agony of Capocchio. It makes me feel SO many intense emotions, it's such a cool painting.

Fourth is Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan on 16 November 1581 by Repin

This painting is so sad. Like. Brings me to tears if i think about it too long sad. The expression of horror and guilt on Ivan the terrible's face is overpowering as he cradles his dying son, who is crying and staring off into space, though has his hand on his father's arm.

Honorable mention goes to Boschs Garden of earthly delights, which is like. Fun as FUCK. It has a disembodied ass playing a horn amongst the chaos.

Honestly? I have no idea, I like a LOT of styles. I like to get weird with it!
