what if you were isekai'd into an RPG fantasy world but you specifically reincarnated into an unbelievably powerful legendary sword and the first person to wield you was a child slave catgirl who used you (a legendary sword) to murder her slavers, and the story does not follow your journey to becoming a hero, but rather your newly adopted daughter's journey to becoming a slave liberating (and slaver murdering) hero as you support her as her adopted parent?

and there's no "she's my daughter but she's in love with me and wants to marry me" bullshit, she sees the protag (her cool sword dad) as a role model and a coach. and it's great.

if you're the type who gets sold on a show after being shown a clip, here's a good one under the cut. it's from episode 8, but there's no arc-specific spoilers. it's the establishing "i know what i must do" scene that sets up the rest of the story (the murdering slavers thing). but also it's sorta gruesome (in a fucking sick way), so fair warning.

[translation note cuz the subs are kinda low quality: her chosen name for her sword, "Shishou", is a title for someone who's seen as a venerated teacher. the word used to translate this into english is "Master", which might make you tilt your head a little bit considering the crux of the show is that she's a liberated slave. however, in this context the english word that refers to someone who owns another person is the same word that is used to refer to someone who has mastered a craft, because in english the nuance is implicative of someone dominating something. in japanese, there's no allusion in her using the word "shishou" to mean that he is her slave master, so don't worry about that being a dynamic the show pushes.]

there were all these little things matt would do with his mouth that you somehow always found hot. no matter what he did — opening bottles, bitting his lip. hell even the way his mouth moved when he spoke did numbers to you. then again, most of the things matt did somehow always turned you on — innocent actions or not.

currently you were sat on the counter, legs dangling off the edge. A bowl of fresh cherries rested beside you, and you absentmindedly plucked one after another, popping them into your mouth with a soft smile. You were lost in thought, savoring the burst of sweet-tart juice, occasionally dropping the empty stems into a small pile beside you.

Matt leaned against the counter opposite, scrolling through his phone, a relaxed air about him as the two of you enjoyed the quiet company. He looked up now and then, catching glimpses of your concentrated expression and the way your lips wrapped around each cherry. You didn’t notice the way his gaze lingered or the sly smile that slowly tugged at the corner of his mouth.

“Y’know,” he suddenly spoke, breaking the silence, “there’s a little trick with those.” His voice held a teasing lilt that instantly pulled you out of your thoughts.

You raised an eyebrow, curious. “What do you mean?” you asked, glancing down at the stems and back at him, completely unaware of what he was hinting at.

Without saying another word, Matt straightened up and walked over, closing the distance between you in a few easy strides. He didn’t ask permission as he reached out and gently took a fresh stem from your fingers, his fingertips brushing lightly against your skin. You swallowed, your breath catching in your throat as he held your gaze, that playful glint never leaving his eyes.

He raised the stem to his lips, and you watched in complete fascination as he slipped it into his mouth. His eyes never left yours, and you felt your face heat up as he closed his lips around the stem, his jaw moving in subtle motions. There was something almost hypnotic about it, your pulse quickening.

Within seconds, Matt opened his mouth and revealed the cherry stem tied neatly into a knot, a small smirk spreading across his lips. Your mouth fell open in disbelief, the action making heat pool in your lower stomach.

“Easy,” he chuckled, dropping the knotted stem into your hand. “Just a little trick.”

You blinked, trying to find words, but all that came out was a soft breathy laugh. “I didn’t know you could do that.”

Matt leaned in a fraction closer, his smirk growing as he reached out to gently close your fingers around the tied stem. His voice dropped slightly, turning smooth and almost challenging. “There’s a lot I can do with my mouth.”

Your cheeks burned, and you couldn’t tear your eyes away from his, that familiar blue now holding a teasing spark that made your stomach flip. The moment was charged, his proximity overwhelming, and you knew he was waiting for a reaction.

You shook your head, smiling despite yourself, muttering, “Show off.” But the heat between you was undeniable, and the playful smirk on his face told you he knew exactly the effect he had on you.

Matt just laughed, stepping back casually, but you couldn’t stop thinking about that cherry stem and the way his lips had moved around it, effortlessly tying it into a knot. It was a small thing—silly, even—but somehow, in that simple moment, he’d managed to leave you completely flustered.

And he knew it.
