@thesongbiird asked: ▲ : leaning your head against their shoulder ( steve + beth )
( send a symbol for your muse to gently touch mine by: )
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Oh - hi -." Steve says softly with a light smile when he feels her head on his shoulder. He can't help but to admit to himself that it feels kind of nice and resists the urge to pull her closer. It was rare enough to get soft touches like this before, but even rarer nowadays - with what the world has become. "You comfortable?" He asks, teasing but only lightly.

a little general zombie apocalypse verse for riley mills (technically namely written for twd but can easily fit in for any fandom/etc): tagging @deathsvalcr since they’re partly the inspo for this
when the apocalypse first hit, it was the last thing riley ever expected to actually happen, and of course she was very rightly terrified. but as her family has stuck together and they’ve been slowly just trying to survive and get through this in the best way they can, it’s been easier and easier to handle. there’s only so many times you can shoot a zombie’s head clean off before you become desensitized to it. though, even if she has been taught how to use a gun, riley does actually prefer to bow and arrow gifted to her by her father and she’s got a hell of a good aim with it. one can definitely see the apocalypse has changed riley a bit, while at her core she’s still the big-hearted, kind, loving girl she is, she’s also been toughened by this whole experience and doesn’t seem as sensitive or easily manipulated. she does have tendency to look out for people and help where she can, especially given the mills-locksley family home has become kind of a safe haven. the large, spacious, home of the mayor being somewhere people can easily hide out.

Joseph having a TWD verse is just him having a normal community with a bunch of guns and ammo available to his community, his brothers are with him and are safe because he specifically sought them out when the apocalypse began coming up.
Eve is alive in this au.
His community's been growing because he's on the radio calling to people.
He keeps people alive by relying on his healing powers and therefore has already basically mastered it during the apocalypse so much no one's that worried about dying to means other than a zombie bite.
Idk just a lot of thoughts rn for it-

Cassian (ACOTAR) + Nesta (ACOTAR): This asshole is finally starting to talk to me again after months of silence, and I screamed when you posted something about modern AU ACOTAR. High fantasy can be a struggle for me sometimes, but they would slay in a modern verse!
Frank Castle (Daredevil) + Harley Quinn (DC): Idk I just really want to throw Harley at one of my gruff guys like Frank or Brock and watch them have to deal with her chaos (but probably come to love her because she's adorable, obviously???).
Daryl Dixon (TWD) / Paul Rovia (TWD) + Ellie (TLOU): I looove crossovers, and mashing up these two zombie apocalypse universes would be so much fun! I could see Jesus as part of the Fireflies initially. Not sure what Daryl would be up to, but I'd love to find out!

Tumblr media
about:
This is a sideblog, and I follow back from my main @grimmusings. Please direct IMs there, since it's easier for me to keep all my messages on one blog. It's also easier to start interactions with me there, where I regularly post open starters and meme prompts. For a full list of rules, see my main. Honesty hour questions will largely be answered IC and treated as anonymous unless signed by a muse.
All details vary based on verse, and I'm happy to pull Dean from most points in the Supernatural timeline or to put him in modern AUs/mash-ups with other fandoms. Unless it's a fix-it verse, I do not acknowledge his death in the series finale. I'm not familiar with Winchesters, so anything set there will need to be plotted out ahead of time.
wanted connections:
This is by no means a comprehensive list, and I can roll with most muses as far as basic interactions. I’m happy to ship Dean with other Supernatural characters and OCs/fandom crossovers based on chemistry, but unless they’re on my OTP list, they need plotting and interaction first. There is never any pressure to ship with me, even if they’re on my list.
OTPs: Castiel, Benny Lafitte, Katherine Pierce, Bucky Barnes NOTPs: Anyone in the family list (it should go without saying, but you'd be surprised) Family: Sam Winchester, Jack Kline, Charlie Bradbury, Claire Novak, Bobby Singer Other: Any Supernatural muses or crossovers from other horror/paranormal fandoms (e.g., The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, Welcome to Night Vale, Good Omens, True Blood, Constantine).
Tumblr media
default verses:
canon (+/-): Any point in the Supernatural timeline or after. May or may not include Castiel's escape from the Empty, ignore Dean's death in the series finale, or create a fix-it for those events.
horror!verse: Any verses that crossover with other supernatural/horror fandoms.
Tumblr media
verses by request only:
I'm happy to write these, but since they're more specific AUs, I don't default on them for asks/memes. Please feel free to request them.
dark!horrorverse: After Dean accepts the Mark of Cain and dies, he's resurrected as a Knight of Hell, an extremely powerful demon. He cannot be exorcised, given that he's still in his original body, but the demon can be cured and the Mark taken on by someone else. (demon!dean)
king!verse: A mash-up AU of the Stephen King and Joe Hill universes, where all media takes place in the same world.
super!mcu: A mash-up AU of the Supernatural and Marvel Cinematic universes, where the Winchesters manage to stop the first apocalypse shortly before Thanos snaps away half the universe.
twd!verse: Set in The Walking Dead universe after the Winchesters managed to stop the first apocalypse, only to be hit with a zombie breakout (Note: I do use Soldier Boy gifs for this verse, so if you need to blacklist, the tag is twd!verse)
welcome foolish mortals: A Disney's Haunted Mansion AU where Dean investigates Gracey Manor and becomes trapped there as a spirit, trying to warn others before it's too late. (ghost!dean)
what's your favorite scary movie?: A Scream AU where Sam and Dean are born in Woodsboro and may or may not grow up to be the Ghostface duo. (ghostface!dean / bio).

All details vary based on verse, and I can pull Jesus from most points in the show's timeline, including post-death or fix-it verses if needed. While I'm happy to write with comics muses, I'm not caught up on them, so any significant plot changes need to be communicated in advance. I'm also happy to create mash-up AUs with other fandoms like TLOU, Supernatural, MCU, or other horror universes.

There is never any pressure to ship with me, even if they’re on my list. Please note that I write Jesus as homosexual, as supported by his canon, and I only ship him with male muses.
OTPs: Aaron Raleigh, Daryl Dixon Possible Ships: most TWD muses Other: TWD muses, King Ezekiel (I just think he's cool and doesn't get enough love), TLOU or other zombie apocalypse/supernatural/horror muses
Tumblr media
default verses:
twd!verse: Any events set in The Walking Dead timeline, including fix-it verses for Jesus's death. He survives the Whisperers to be one of the envoys to the Commonwealth, where he later helps to overturn it and works as a private detective.

multiverse!madness: At the moment of his death, Jesus finds himself transported to an alternate universe (Marvel, DC, other horror fandoms, etc.). Though he distinctly remembers dying, he's unharmed there and must adjust to the new conditions, whether that's normal, pre-apocalyptic life or a different apocalypse scenario.
tlou: Jesus was fifteen when the outbreak happened, and he later joined the Fireflies in Atlanta, though he eventually becomes disillusioned by their tactics and lives as a nomad.

plots please uvu
send me “plots please” and I’ll respond with 3 (or more) interesting plots I can think of for our muses!
Tumblr media
first thing first, let me just say that i love your cassie so much, and i'm having a lot of ideas so here we go;
obviously we can go with the stranger things route, because those two? are more similar than one could realize. both of them have the tendency of making bad decisions out of their need of love. so them recognizing that in one another? lowkey soft friendship and being there for one another? yes.
i'm a sucker for apocalypse plots, and i'm eyeing your twd verse. mike and cassie finding one another in the middle of the whole chaos with the zombies? striking an uncanny companionship while they travel to one of the safe places, finding something to laugh about in a world that reek of death.
forever stuck in my college mike brainrot. give me college shenanigans ( yes, i'm also eyeing your young adult verse ). this boy is a menace in college, what could go wrong putting those two in the same place?
i see you have a vampire verse. and just let me slide your way mike's nightmares' detective verse, in which he deal with everything that has to do with the supernatural. let him be stuck with a freshly turned vampire, that's a recipe for a whole lot of fun.
and lastly, lets talk about fear street. mike transferred from sunnyvale to shadyside. so consider cassie being one of the first friends he makes then? especially when even before the transfer mike was targeted by sunnyvalers anyways. plus they both survive the camp massacre, and that's a lot of trauma and guilt to share there.
those are more than three, but they are all ideas that i think would be fun to expand and explore. also i was eyeing your scream verse too since i do have a verse in which mike is ghostface :^)

Will is a canon character from Robin Hood. All details vary based on verse, but in general he's a mix of headcanons, folklore, and influences from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991). I'm happy to write him into AUs and fandom crossovers.
wanted connections:
This is by no means a comprehensive list, and I can roll with most muses as far as basic interactions. I’m happy to ship Will with other fairy tale characters and OCs/fandom crossovers based on chemistry.
Family: Robin Locksley (half-brother), Marian (sister-in-law) Other: Sheriff of Nottingham, Guy Gisborne, Friar Tuck, any Robin Hood or Wizard of Oz muses
Tumblr media
default verses:
ever!after: Characters are reincarnated versions of their fairy tale counterparts, and few know who they truly are. Will is an ex Marine Sergeant who lost his arm and half his unit on his last mission and retired in Fableton. (bio)
fableverse: When the storybook worlds collapse, Will finds himself in a contemporary town called Fableton, where he works as a thief and a mechanic and does everything he can to avoid his half-brother, Robin. (bio)
Tumblr media
verses by request only:
I'm happy to write these, but since they're more specific AUs, I don't default on them for asks/memes. Please feel free to request them.
horror!verse: Will is attacked by a rogue werewolf in the 1930s and joins a small pack of career military wolves, most of whom are killed in a dirty mission in the 60s. Reluctant to join and lose another pack, he primarily works as a bodyguard or a mercenary. (bio)
twd!verse: A zombie apocalypse AU with the same history as Ever After, only the breakout happens after Will settles in Fableton.

All details vary based on verse, but in general I write Frank based on the Daredevil/Punisher shows, with occasional elements or connections from 616 comics pulled in as needed. Please keep in mind that in this timeline, he is not a Vietnam veteran, but served in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Please note before interacting that Frank is very hostile to known villains and will react accordingly, up to and including attacking or trying to kill them, but I will check with you before either so we can better plot things out. Likewise, if you prefer to plot Frank's death, I'm happy to work with you on that. Being an antihero has consequences, but communication is key. He does not kill innocents or heroes (and canonically won't even take a swing at Captain America).
wanted connections:
This is by no means a comprehensive list, and I can roll with most muses as far as basic interactions. I’m happy to ship Frank with other Marvel characters and OCs/fandom crossovers based on chemistry, but unless they’re on my OTP list, they need plotting and interaction first. There is never any pressure to ship with me, even if they’re on my list.
OTPs: Maria Castle, Karen Page, Matt Murdock Family: I adore Dad!Frank, but he's understandably going to have a lot of trauma attached to that, so please run any canon/OC kids by me first Other: Steve Rogers, Billy Russo, John Hartigan, Nancy Callahan
Tumblr media
default verses:
canon (+/-): Any events that take place within the Daredevil/Punisher timelines.
alt!postblip: A merging of the shows into the greater MCU, where Frank has just watched half the world be snapped out of existence and then returned.
semper fidelis: Any events that take place while Frank is with the Marines or the Cerberus Squad.
multiverse!madness: Various comics universes collide, whether Marvel/DC/etc. have always existed on the same Earth, or other-dimension shenanigans are at work. Duplicate friendly!
Tumblr media
verses by request only:
I'm happy to write these, but since they're more specific AUs, I don't default on them for asks/memes. Please feel free to request them.
sin city: An AU set in the Sin City universe, where Frank is working as a detective with the Basin City police department when his family are brutally slaughtered by convicts he once put away. Almost two years later, the case is declared a mistrial, setting him on the path as the Punisher.
twd!verse: A zombie apocalypse AU that more or less follows a Walking Dead timeline. Frank's family was killed by humans at the start of the outbreak, which sets him on the path as the Punisher. When he's not taking out the trash, he lives alone in a remote, sustainable cabin surrounded by traps.

Verse 8: The Dead don’t Die
The Walking Dead / Zombie Apocalypse Verse
Tumblr media
Born in California, Samuel is of English Irish desent, born to an English Mother and Irish Father, both of whom travelled to America prior to Samuel being born. Tragically Samuel loses his Mother in childbirth and so is raised by his Father alone, living on the family ranch located near the San Joaquin Valley. At the age of 17, with the permission of his Father, Sam leaves the ranch to join the Navy. At the age of 24 Samuel transfers to the Navy SEALS. Following his special operations training, he becomes a member of an elite platoon responsible for taking out high level targets. Eventually rising to become the leader of the platoon, he is a member of the unit for a total of eight years before finally abandoning his post after a mission in Botswana goes terribly wrong, resulting in mass casualties and the death of half his platoon. He spends the next two years working alone, undertaking black ops work; in exchange for his full Navy pension upon discharge, he agrees to covertly take out targets; those not ‘officially’ sanctioned by the Government. At the age of 34, having spent the last 17 years travelling the world, Samuel finally chooses to settle down in a medium sized apartment in Seattle, a city his Father took him to visit as a child that he has been fond of ever since.
For two years he lives in Seattle, using former contacts to go into business for himself as an assassin for hire, accepting only those contracts he is comfortable with; contracts for morally reprehensible men, the kind most would consider absolutely wicked. He has just newly turned 36 when the outbreak first begins and reaches Seattle. At first when seeing the news footage and pictures online, Samuel believes the cause to be the release of some kind of bio-weapon, responsible for turning people violent and crazed. As a man with many enemies, he finds himself more prepared than most, already having bags packed, hidden under the floorboards of his apartment, filled with tactical gear, weapons, passports, money and supplies, all designed to allow him a quick getaway if necessary.
After making contact with a crime boss Samuel has worked for frequently in the past, he is informed of a large boat leaving from the Port of Tacoma and is told that his skills will be of use on its journey, if he can make it to the port by sunrise. Upon leaving the apartment, he is prepared for encountering violence but nothing prepares him for the sight of his neighbours, a young couple in their mid-twenties, eyes glazed, mouths bloody as they furiously chase their own five year old daughter down the hallway. It is this first encounter that confirms two vital things to Samuel – firstly this is no bio weapon; these people are the dead walking and secondly, it seems the only way of stopping them is to destroy the brain.
After executing them both, he grabs the child and heads into the street; the city is burning, swarming and in no time at all, he finds himself descended upon, the child ripped from his hands as hungry teeth gnash at his visor and frantic fingers tear at his tactical gear. Mercifully, he escapes without injury but the incident haunts him from that moment on; some nights he is still awoken by the sound of the child’s desperate screams and freshly feels the pain of that failure all over again.
He makes it to the Port of Tacoma and boards a stolen container ship; the Lady Elizabeth, sailing as part of its security detail, returning to land only for supplies and to refuel. During his time aboard the vessel, each new trip to the mainland becomes bleaker and bleaker, making it clear that rather than recover, the world has collapsed. The living seem to be teetering on the brink of near extinction while the number of dead walking seems only to grow and grow.
He remains aboard the crew of the Lady Elizabeth for almost a year, travelling from the West Coast to the East but is forced to abandon the vessel after an electrical fault starts a raging fire in the middle of the night, one that causes the ship to rapidly capsize and sink. With what little supplies he can carry, Samuel manages to fight his way ashore, swimming through the bloated bodies of the living corpses that now litter the coastline, all hungry and eager to grab anything that passes by their way. By the time he reaches the beach, most of the crew are dead and are now making their way out of the water towards him.
After running through the night, fighting for his life, Samuel, having been separated from the other survivors, discovers he has washed ashore near Charleston. He spends the next three months scavenging, building up his supplies as he stays on the move, travelling from town to town.
Eventually, much to his surprise, he discovers a settlement of people living in Woodbury, Georgia. Having arrived with supplies, military training and weapons, he is welcomed by their leader, ‘The Governor’ but within only a few days determines that it is best he moves on. There is something off about this town but quite what Samuel just isn’t sure. When he leaves, his suspicions are confirmed the moment the Governor’s security detail tries to kill him. Having badly underestimated him however, before the night is through, Samuel succeeds in killing each and every one of the men sent to execute him. When he returns to the town a few weeks later he discovers it burnt to the ground and overrun with the dead.
Eventually Samuel settles in the small town in Laurens County, Georgia, named ‘Dublin’, feeling, due to his Irish heritage, that the name of the place is a good omen. It is there he creates a well defended home within the upper levels of the Military College building.
--------------------------
Samuel is an intelligent man with extensive military experience and training, astute and observant, he is willing to do what it takes to survive, but he has not allowed his experiences in this cruel apocalyptic world to make his heart cold. He is not naturally aggressive and he will help survivors, but he is no fool and can’t be easily manipulated. He rides a motorcycle and has gathered a fairly sizable collection of them which he houses on the second level of the Military College Building he resides in alone. He has hidden various supplies around the town of Dublin, including fuel, weapons and food. He will protect his property and has no problem killing raiders. His experience has led him to believe that those who try to establish communities in this new world are destined to fail and as of yet, he hasn’t been proved otherwise. He both craves and fears human contact in what is left of his crumbling world.

v: a good doctor treats everyone the same ( the walking dead, the last of us, black summer, z-nation etc verse. )
Set during the Walking Dead or any other zombie based setting, Jonathan’s background is exactly the same, except he moved to the United States of America, as he needs to keep moving around every decade or so to keep people from noticing that he doesn’t age. It was while he was there that the dead began to walk, with him and everyone else plunged into the apocalypse.
Alone, Jonathan travels the US, both seeking to find a cure or create a vaccine to keep people from returning when they die, as well as wiping out as many walkers as he can along the way, in an attempt to keep remaining humans safe. He offers his medical skills to anyone who requires them, as he’s able to pass through entire hordes of walkers without being bothered by them, since they don’t recognise him as being alive, granting him ease to get around.
Also, due to the immense drop in human population, he is even more adamant not to take blood from humans, remaining much the same in the fact that he prefers to drink only from animals. Though this is another reason he has been traveling alone, because he is afraid of his hunger overcoming him and succumbing to it around survivors.
THIS MEANS:
He will offer his medical skills to survivors he comes across.
Drinks purely from whatever animals he can find. But remains perpetually starving, managing to go without human blood for years at a time.
Walkers don’t pay him attention due to him being undead.
He is actively seeking to create a cure or vaccine.
