Watching random TWD videos while I doodle... Made me wanna judge whether or not characters from LOST could survive TWD styled zombie apocalypse.. IDKY TWD content makes me think of LOST but here we are (I watched a video about CODA and was like 'They did this same shit to Shannon to my guy... I feel you.')

ANYWAYS.

LOST characters ability to survive TWD apocalypse.

-Jack- Real talk I think Jacks trajectory through TWD verse would be kinda similar to Ricks. I do think hes got a decent survival instinct and his skills and willingness to help people would garner loyalty from people around him. The only issue is he IS a doctor so depending on WHEN the virus started to spread vs his own issues with his dad and stuff... He'd likely be on the front lines and FAR more likely to be bit and NOT know whats happening... But im gonna lean toward him surviving. I honestly think he could end up a lot like Rick as I said.

Most likely cause of death- Getting bit early on cuz he doesnt know any better.

-Kate- Easy bet. Obviously she'd be fine. Shes scrappy and resourceful, she was doing just fine off the island despite the horrors. Her only issue would be trusting other people and loyalty but she is compassionate enough to also garner some good connections.

Most likely cause of death- Betrayal from people.

-Sawyer- Again... east bet. If you mixed Shane and Negan together... Its basically Sawyer if you think about it. Like Kate he'd have trust and loyalty issues and hes far less compassionate than Kate is but hes also charming enough to pretend and accidentally bond with people enough to be loyal to them which might help him out. His dickish behavior is his one obstacle... and an obstacle he could sneak past so...

Most likely cause of death- Pisses the wrong person off. Probably a woman.

-Locke- OBVIOUSLY... I would say and typed something out but then I remembered he was paralyzed from the waist down and went... OH YEAH. NEVERMIND... Not only is he paralyzed but hes also pushed a lot of people away from him so I dont even think he has the connections to be protected. If we're talking about Locke on the island I think he'd be fine.

Most likely cause of death- Limited accessibility. Not saying that to be flippant btw... Just a zombie apocalypse would not be kind to a an old man in a wheel chair.

-Hurley- ....SORTA OK. Hurley isnt physically capable of surviving but hes so damn likeable I think he'd have people around him who can pick up the slack. Hes very charming in his silly way, always willing to lend a clumsy hand, and even makes friends with Sayid fairly early on in LOST and someone like Sayid looking out for you is a the safety net of all time.

Most likely cause of death- Getting bit trying to help someone.

-Sayid- I mean OBVIOUSLY. By himself or with other people I think Sayid would be fine. He has all the skills to survive, hes smart, hes adaptable, hes incredibly physically fit. The only crack in his armor is his willingness to go out on a limb for people.

Most likely cause of death- Saving someone else. He'd go out swinging too.

-Sun- Yeah She'd be fine. In a group. I think shes resourceful enough to be highly valued in any group she's in. Shes good with plants, she has some minor medical skills, shes likeable in general to keep people on her side.

Most likely cause of death- Someone elses mistakes tbh.

-Jin- Similar to Sun I think Jin would be fine. We know hes adaptable and will do basically anything even if it goes against his generally good nature to keep Sun safe. Hes strong and resourceful, his biggest issue would be that he can be mean when hes trying to guard Sun and that might put people off... but its not like hes not willing to help others so...

Most likely cause of death- Sun. (In one way or another.)

-Charlie- GOD NO. I dont think theres ANYONE less equipped to deal with the apocalypse than Charlie. His only valuable skill is being likeable... and sometimes he dont even got that. Especially since he'd be tweaking from withdrawals.

Most likely cause of death- Literally anything. As is true in canon he is destined to die one way or another.

-Michael & Walt- I DONT think Michael has what it takes to survive... by himself. I think he'd do a decent job of keeping Walt alive though. Hes a mostly reasonable dude so long as youre not being weird with his son or telling him how to be a father. Walt obviously would have a much easier time surviving. As a kid, people will help him regardless if hes a dick... and hes not a dick anyways. Hes VERY willing to learn new skills and is very personable.

Most likely causes of death- Trying to help Walt & Trying to find Vincent.

-Boone & Shannon- I did say what I said about Charlie but these two are a close second in their inability to survive this. Boone would give it the ol college try but I think Shannon would make things very difficult for him and he also latches onto the wrong people in general so even by himself I think he might survive a LITTLE longer but not by much. Theyre not that likable either... Boone tries but his loyalty being to his sister whos very likely to snap at someone and push them away... itd be difficult. Theyd definitely need someone more capable very quickly... and that might not even help.

Most likely causes of death- Probably doin some stupid shit.

-Claire & Aaron- Claires biggest useful skill is how likeable she is... also being pregnant would help from a sympathetic point of view. Since were not dealing with weird island magic or w/e assuming shes able to give birth without much issue... She'd probably be fine if she's in a group. Aaron is too young he'd have to depend on people around him... hed do pretty well in that regard, Kate and Sayid have canonically saved him, Sun has been watching him often... ETC.

Most likely cause of death- Shes just vulnerable in general. Probably trying to protect Aaron. Aaron hes a kid... so

-Rousseau- I mean OBVIOUSLY. If theres one human left in the world... it'd likely be her.

Most likely cause of death- The writers being stupid.

-Ben- Ben isnt likeable, physically fit, or anything but resourceful and manipulative... but hes SO resourceful and manipulative (and a somewhat scrappy fighter) that he'd probably be fine. His biggest OPs ARE Rousseau & Sayid though so that sucks for him... Good luck bud. But since theres no weird supernatural forces... he might just be a normal guy... Hes hard assess due to time and magic shenanigans. He could just be Mr Linus...

Most likely cause of death- Rousseau and/or Sayid (if hes just Mr. Linus... probably getting bit by a student)

-Juliet- Hard to say. Of all characters Juliet is the toughest to gauge. She does have some medical experience, shes not a bad person but a lot of her motivations are her sister and I DONT think her sister would be ok.... and thus she'd lose her will before ever getting on with anyone else..

Most likely cause of death- Just giving up tbh.

-Desmond- Similar to Juliet... I think itd be based on if Penny is ok. If not... if she died BEFORE having their son I think Desmond packs it in, if Penny dies after having Charlie he'd probably be ok... if Penny is alive I think Des would likely be fine. Hes got military training, he's fairly smart and likeable. He'd do ok if hes emotionally sound.

Most likely cause of death- Giving up.

-Miles- Absolutely fine. Hes not THAT likeable but hes scrappy and smart. He could weasel his way into a group pretty easily and survive.

Most likely cause of death- He pisses the wrong person off and gets a grenade shoved in his mouth LMAO.

-Richard- Not a chance. Richard in canon only finds the will to live in like the last episodes. The only reason hes alive is because of a supernatural force KEEPING him alive against his will.

Most likely cause of death- Zombie wife to the face.

--LIGHTNING ROUND-- Rose & Bernard- Rose was terminal, the island kept her alive. Theyd likely just pack it in together. Old couple on the Titanic style.

Faraday- Probably wouldnt make it.

Frank- Maybe hed be ok. Hes a pretty valuable player in canon so he'd at least fit a group nicely.

Penny- Hard to say. A lot of her skills are money based and money dont mean much... she is very likable though but her father would probably make things difficult.

Widmore- The Governor(tv) core TBH Penny or Des would likely be the one to kill him for fuckin around too much.

Eloise- MAYBE. Even as an old lady shes manipulative and smart enough to possibly make it.

Nadia- ALSO MAYBE? Since theres no weird supernatural forces...

Ana Lucia, Eko, Libby- Very likely. Libby being the least likely but shes pretty scrappy. She'd probably be ok.

Alex- Its a 50/50 with her I think.

Joseph having a TWD verse is just him having a normal community with a bunch of guns and ammo available to his community, his brothers are with him and are safe because he specifically sought them out when the apocalypse began coming up.

Eve is alive in this au.

His community's been growing because he's on the radio calling to people.

He keeps people alive by relying on his healing powers and therefore has already basically mastered it during the apocalypse so much no one's that worried about dying to means other than a zombie bite.

All details vary based on verse, but in general I write Frank based on the Daredevil/Punisher shows, with occasional elements or connections from 616 comics pulled in as needed. Please keep in mind that in this timeline, he is not a Vietnam veteran, but served in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Please note before interacting that Frank is very hostile to known villains and will react accordingly, up to and including attacking or trying to kill them, but I will check with you before either so we can better plot things out. Set during the Walking Dead or any other zombie based setting, Jonathan’s background is exactly the same, except he moved to the United States of America, as he needs to keep moving around every decade or so to keep people from noticing that he doesn’t age. It was while he was there that the dead began to walk, with him and everyone else plunged into the apocalypse.

Alone, Jonathan travels the US, both seeking to find a cure or create a vaccine to keep people from returning when they die, as well as wiping out as many walkers as he can along the way, in an attempt to keep remaining humans safe. He offers his medical skills to anyone who requires them, as he’s able to pass through entire hordes of walkers without being bothered by them, since they don’t recognise him as being alive, granting him ease to get around.

Also, due to the immense drop in human population, he is even more adamant not to take blood from humans, remaining much the same in the fact that he prefers to drink only from animals. Though this is another reason he has been traveling alone, because he is afraid of his hunger overcoming him and succumbing to it around survivors.

THIS MEANS:

He will offer his medical skills to survivors he comes across.

Drinks purely from whatever animals he can find. But remains perpetually starving, managing to go without human blood for years at a time.

Walkers don’t pay him attention due to him being undead.

He is actively seeking to create a cure or vaccine.
