#TheWalkingDead Season 9 Episode 8 "Evolution" Mid-Season Finale In Depth Recap And More
Holy freaking oh my god!
Sunday night's Mid Season finale was off the chain! From badass walker-killing moves to creepy whispers from the (not so) dead that walked beside them, Sunday's episode was one for the top best of the series.
'Evolution' opened with Daryl, Dog, Jesus and Aaron tracking the herd that hunted Rosita and Eugene. Daryl speculated that about 130 to 140 walkers were involved in the said herd, but something wasn't quite right... they were just mindlessly wondering in a big cyclone funnel. None of their actions pointed to an average herd. They were confused but decided to move onward. The camera panned to the walkers when one stopped and turned.
When it came back, Alexandria was busy with daily activities including Gabriel attempting to save Negan. But, to no avail... he insists to the Father that no matter how close he comes, the thoughts that follow would "blush the collar on your neck right off." Negan gives Gabriel compliments on bagging and tagging Rosita, and he admits that he appreciates everything he's done for him. Negan tells Gabriel that the window they installed for him has given him a sort of "TV" which he loves because he gets all the juicy talk including that of Rosita which may or may not include how she feels about the Father or...someone else. Disgusted, Gabriel gets up and leaves. That's when he sees the Hilltop messengers with word of Rosita.
A man on horseback is seen riding quickly towards the front of Hilltop, warning the residents that riders were nearing. Michonne and her band arrive shortly after. Michonne likes the growth she sees. Luke likes what he sees with the new place and Kelly signs to Connie that she will keep a close watch. The guards warn Tara, and Magna tells her group to get ready. A gate guard asks Michonne why she is there and Michonne tells her. Everyone drops their weapons to show they aren't a threat, and the weapon will be returned after thorough inspection. After they go inside, Tara tells Michonne what happened with Rosita, Eugene, and Aaron. She tells Michonne that "it's like the old gang's back together" after she tells Michonne that Daryl came down with Henry and Carol. Siddiq asks Enid about Rosita, and she tells him she's exhausted and dehydrated but nothing serious. Tara tells Magna's group that they'll have to wait until the leader returns for inductions, but they'll have to earn their keep for the meantime. Connie signs "thank you" and Kelly interprets. Siddiq tells Michonne that it was a good thing they came. Magna, Connie, and Yumiko get to work immediately. Siddiq apologizes about keeping things from her. Carol walks up and greets Siddiq and hugs him. She greets Michonne and tries to persuade her to help and get back to the communities of old, but Michonne won't have it. Disappointed, Carol says it was good to see her. Carol is packing up to leave when the guard asks if she may hitch a ride. She feels that Hilltop doesn't need her anymore. Carol agrees. Henry sees his mom off and tells her that he will be back before the fair. Daryl and Dog track as Aaron and Jesus talk. Aaron thinks that Jesus should take the leadership seriously and stop trying to shove it away considering how good of a leader he is. Daryl hushed them and told them that another herd was nearing and the wind was carrying the sound. He wound up a timer and threw it into the field.
Jesus watches the herd from the forest and tells Aaron and Daryl that either the herd merged with another or its a different herd. Daryl said it didn't matter as long as it was going the opposite direction. Henry was hard at work apprenticing when Enid stopped by to grab Alden. Earl asks Henry if he would like to have dinner with him and Tammy Rose and Henry was going to decline until he saw Enid and Alden kiss. A heartbroken Henry agrees to dinner at Earl's house. While changing Negan's bedpan, Gabriel was subjected to daily Negan banter and taunting. After picking up on the fact that something was wrong, Negan asked what was going on and genuinely offered an apology. "Its bad enough I have to clean up your shit I shouldn't have to listen to it too." Negan's cell is slammed, and he is released back to his cage. At lunch, Henry is seen eating alone. After, three kids by the names of Gage, Addy and Rodney call him up to chat. They all have been at Hilltop most of their life's so they ask about traveling and other communities. Rodney asks about Oceanside being all women and say that maybe he should become a fisherman. After a small chat, they ask if he wants to partake in some fun. He agrees. Michonne and Rosita were inside of the infirmary with Rosita who was still unconscious. Siddiq tells Michonne that it isn't too late to change things with the communities. She tells him that she won't mend fences to their terms. Rosita suddenly wakes up and freaks out. Michonne tells her that a search party is already out looking for him. Rosita tells them that can't handle what they done know what they are dealing with and quickly remove her dip and walk away.
Dog tracks close and Daryl follows close by. Dog finds a barn then alerts Daryl to a hay pile where Eugene was. After he called that he was down there, Daryl and Aaron pull him out. Eugene tells them that he was injured and needed to be hidden for the betterment and survival of Rosita. He tells them that the herd is looking for him. They all say that's not true and Eugene says that same herd has come back twice. He tells them that they were whispering and Rosita can back him up because she heard it too. He tells them "it isn't a normal herd" and Dog suddenly barks signaling that the walkers were near. They pick Eugene up and run out the back. Rodney, Addy, Henry and Gage party and drink. Henry asks what they do when they're bored, and they show him. They corralled a walker and threw things at it, and they try to make loops around it or urinate all over it. Henry had seen enough and killed it. They get disgusted and leave.
Jesus, Aaron, Daryl, Eugene, and Dog track their way back through the forest while the herd is nearing. They stop at a road crossing and Eugene offers a theory that the walkers are evolving. He explains to them most confusingly that even though they're dead, they aren't dead-dead meaning that they aren't functioning a normal way but considering they still have to be put down by a brain tap, they're still "alive"...kind of. Daryl says he and Dog will stay back. Jesus, Aaron and Eugene leave. In Negan's cell, he's throwing his ball back and forth when it goes out of bounds (outside of the cell). "Well shit," he says. But Negan stares for a moment before he stands, noticing something. He walks over and pushes on his cell door which flies open. Smiling, he grabs his ball and stares at it. Smiling again, he throws it away and leaves his cell.
That night, Tara brought Earl to Henry's cell below Hilltop and told him that she had better things to do than clean vomit from her boots. Earl scolds Henry and says that he reeks of bad moonshine. He tells Henry that he may as well pack up and leave if that's how he's going to take his responsibilities. Henry admits to screwing up and explains Earl why. He tells him that people are counting on him. Earl says that he will talk to Jesus about getting him out of the cell and tells Henry to get some sleep. Earl leaves, and Henry does what he was told.
Daryl is propped up on top of a roof waiting for the herd to near. He gives Dog a command to bark as he starts to set off firecrackers but hears something and immediately silences him. "Keep them together" Jesus, Eugene, and Aaron arrive in a graveyard, but the herd is getting closer. They squeeze through a small gap for a choke point to slow things down. Jesus finds a gate but its rusted over. They find a ledge low enough to get over but its too late... they're upon them. All three men get their knives, and they kill. Whispers are heard! Then, Michonne is seen! Magna, also. They break the gate down and open it up just in time as walkers come. Jesus steers them away then Hong Kong flies them until all of a sudden one maneuvers behind him, stabbing him and whispering "you are where you do not belong." Aaron yells and the others charge. They kill all the ones near. Aaron sees Jesus' dead body and cries. Daryl calls Michonne after seeing something...stitches. He cuts the stilted open and pulls the mask off to reveal a person... whispers are heard all around them as they get surrounded. "They are surrounded, they're trapped, don't let them slip by..."
Holy god! I have been waiting so long for this arc to begin in the show and may I say I am not disappointed! This was very well done, and I was delighted. This episode chilled me to my bones. What did you think of the Mid-Season finale? Comment below!
The Walking Dead returns to AMC this coming February.

#TheWalkingDead Season 8 Episode 7 "Time For After" In-Depth Recap Plus Questions
Sunday, December 3rd
*WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS EXPLICIT DETAIL FR SUNDAY NIGHT'S EPISODE "TIME FOR AFTER." IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT, TURN BACK NOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!*
Sunday's episode 'Time For After' started off with Rick in the holding container. A stripped Rick waits and listens as the door comes open. As it does, Jadis is waiting along with a drawer. She takes three photos while he draws Rick. Okay... Well, Rick asks why the pictures and Jadis tell him "For After."
Eugene is seen pacing. Eugene scribbles three columns into a notebook then ponders. Next thing, Eugene knocking on Dwight's door. Eugene confronts Dwight about being the backstabbing trader. Eugene says to Dwight that he'll hide all he knows from Negan if Dwight agrees to stop. Dwight forces Eugene down on his couch and tells Eugene that the Saviors, Negan and the Sanctuary are finished. Dwight tells Eugene that the Sanctuary is going to fall, so Eugene needed just to watch and let it play out. Dwight tells Eugene that he doesn't have blood on his hands yet, but once it does, it becomes a part of them, staying with them and making them something bad. Dwight tells Eugene that he knows Eugene heard the screams, seen the horror and smelt the burning flesh.
"There's no coming back, no forgetting it,"
Eugene says he's better off there and where he is It's saving people. "It ain't perfect, but we're Saviors. We save people". Eugene then reiterated his no tell no more trade deal then he leaves. Eugene goes to the work floor and sees the crew watching the reanimated corpses banging on the doors. Eugene asks a female Savior what she was thinking about and she tells him she was thinking about her father. As Eugene walking back to his room, Dr. Carson calls Eugene to Gabriel's makeshift hospital room. Dr. Carson tells Eugene that Gabriel has multiple infections with no meds to counteract the spread. Dr. Carson tells Eugene that he's going to go search for some herbs to treat Gabriel with some eastern medicine. When Eugene goes to the Father's side, he helps the dying Gabriel by giving him water. Gabriel wants to know if Eugene decided to help him get the Dr. Carson to Maggie. In a lengthy, overdrawn out response, Eugene tells him no; he can't. Gabriel tells Eugene all he wants is for him to do the right thing, and to have faith that it'll work out.
Morgan is a sniper watch tower scouting the Sanctuary. One of Negan's wives visits Eugene, wanting her boom box back. When she finds out it hasn't been fixed; she leaves with the other half of their deal; a bottle of wine. Eugene begs for it, needing it for a bedtime consumption solution. She knows Eugene's pain and blames Eugene for not helping them fix "this place." She gives it to him and leaves, saying Negan wants to speak to him. Daryl scopes out the surrounding area as the group talks. They're planning to ram a truck into the workstation and flood the compound with walkers. Morgan wants it done. Michonne and Rosita think it's a bad idea. Tara says she could've ended it before, but she didn't. Morgan tells her where a vehicle is. Michonne tells Rosita that she's come this far and she wants to see it through. Rosita tells her that sometimes you just have to wait, but she wishes it wouldn't have taken Sasha coming out of the coffin the way she did to prove the case. Daryl, Tara, and Michonne head out.
Negan and Eugene meet. Negan tells the genius that if they don't do something quickly, many people are gonna die. Not Negan, of course. But many of his people and he doesn't wanna see that. Negan asks Eugene if his bullet maker and can he still produce. Eugene says he can. Negan then tells Eugene that this place is based on "pooling and organizing strengths." And Negan says he knows Eugene's mind is strong. Negan reaches out his hand for Eugene to shakes, but Eugene tried to kiss Negan's hand, Negan explains to Eugene that he just wanted a handshake. "A handshake is a sign of mutual respect." Suddenly, Eugene says "There's much work to do," and bails.
Eugene works on the radio and pulls out the speaker from the boom box and comes up with an idea. Eugene goes on the search for something and comes across Sasha's casket. Eugene has a frightening flashback then opens the lid and pulls her mp3 player.
Morgan tells them to kill the engine. As Tara gets out, Daryl notices Michonne's hesitation. Daryl asks if MIchonne was okay, Michonne tells Daryl that she wanted to see things for herself, but what they're about to do, it isn't worth risking "us" to her. Daryl says it is for him. Michonne tells Daryl that she hopes it works but she can't do it. Daryl tells her, "Then you shouldn't." She gets out. Tara walks around the truck and says that they can do it with Morgan and the Scouters.
Eugene has created a flight object that he attached the player. As Eugene is working on it, he records his progress. Dwight comes from behind and tells Eugene to back away from the device. Daryl's at the ready, and so is Tara. Eugene tells Dwight that he's going to be saving people. Dwight tells Eugene that if he does that, Negan will kill Rick and the others. Dwight says he can get rid of Negan. Dwight tells Eugene not to launch his aircraft thing, but Eugene gets a sudden burst of courage and launches it in spite of the fun to his head. Daryl guns it. Tara and Morgan fire. Dwight fires at the aircraft thing taking it down. Daryl busts through the outer wall and sends the truck into the wall but he jumps out, and he and Tara run.
Walkers invade the compound. Workers scramble and Saviors fire and defend, but many still die. Eugene watches in terror, and then, he gets angry. Eugene goes to Gabriel's room and tells Gabriel that he declines helping very angrily and tells Gabriel that he's loyal to Negan. Eugene meets with the boss man again, Negan wants to know how good it feels to be the second most important person there and to help people. Eugene says he likes it. There's a knock. A brood of Saviors come in. She tells Negan that the dead ones have taken the bottom floor. Cheerful Negan tells her that Eugene has a plan plus, a topper! But, the topper is a letdown to Negan. Eugene hopes to fix the intercom system. Dwight just knew his ass was grass... Next time Eugene is seen, he's in his room. As the bullets fly, he gets up, drinks something yellowish and chases it with wine. He throws up some them chugs the wine.
Jadis has requested Rick,  One of Junkers gets Rick from the holding container and makes Rick kneel in the circle. Jadis and another Junker emerge with a savage and blinded walker. As it comes nears to Rick, he knocks the Junker holding him upside the head and beats both the Junker and the walker handler then turns to Jadis.
Rick wins that battle and announces to the Junkers "I'm walking out of here which means you're all dead. I have a lot of people. We won't attack today, but we will attack. You, people, can play your games, draw your pictures, sculpt whatever shit you want but I'm leaving!" Rick looks at Jadis and asks if it's over. Rick lets her up from the ground and asks if they have a deal. Jadis says they get the Saviors things once it's won. Rick says a fourth, Jadis says a half. Rick says a fourth, so Jadis says a fourth and she sculpts him nude. Seriously, Jadis...what's your deal? Rick tells Jadis his binds need to come off and his clothes and boots are returned now. They agree to a fourth. Rick and the Scavengers head out. They stop at the scout outpost and find a dead scouter (one of theirs). Rick radios to his people but no one comes back. Rick climbs up and looks through the scope and is struck with sheer horror as he looks at an empty Sanctuary both of walkers and humans...
Oh my god! What did you think of this episode? Let me know in the comments below!
Rick and his crew have a helluva mess to clean up. With the Sanctuary empty, what does this mean for the others? Where have they gone? Will Jadis betray them again? Will Dwight split and join Rick full-fledged? Will Tara, Daryl, Morgan and Michonne's stay alive through the Midseason Finale?
Tune in Sunday for the Mid-Season finale at 9 p.m. only on AMC.

Sunday's episode of 'The Walking Dead' drew in a total of 8.5 million viewers. And, for a good reason. From start to finish, it was filled with action, fantastic battle sequences and a touch of drama. Are you ready to relive 'Monsters'? Let's do it!
WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS EXPLICIT DETAIL FR SUNDAY NIGHT'S EPISODE "Monsters." IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT, TURN BACK NOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!*
In the opening scene, 'Monsters' started off with the King giving a speech as they listen to a radio call from The Sanctuary. It shows Ezekiel's group moving, becoming surrounded by Saviors. Then, they blast the Saviors. Ezekiel tells them that if they fallow the training, none will be lost. He smiles at Carol and says to the group "We won, we move onward." Suddenly, Shiva sends a warning roar.
Morales tells Rick to put his guns down and he complies. He says, "So you're the Rick from Alexandria." Mentions the fact of how they made the same trip and how they aren't the same guys they once were. He calls Rick a prize and they don't wanna kill him, the King or The Widow unless necessary. Morales asks Rick why he's there but then he says it doesn't matter, says they'll get him to Negan. He tells Rick that the shit will be settled. Erick's crew is still firing on the group of Saviors they have cornered. The Saviors seize fire and retreat. Aaron and Erick hunker by a tree. Erick needs a doctor bad. Aaron apologizes for getting him into the battle. Erick asks where the guy is that shot him. He tells Aaron that he needs to get back, ensuring him he's okay. He tells Aaron he knows he loves him. They kiss. Erick tells him to stand his ass up, fight and win. Erick says he's always loved him. Tara leads a group of Saviors towards Hilltop Colony.
The Savior that killed Benjamin antagonizes Morgan. Jesus tells Morgan they aren't far. He tells Morgan, "No matter what they've done, they're just people." Says that they can't just execute them. Morgan admits that he has. Rick asks Morales if his family is there. He tells Rick that they didn't make it, days he went crazy after losing his family. Rick tells Morales he's lost many; Lori, Shane, Andrea, Glenn. He tells him that Negan killed Glenn right before him and his pregnant wife. Morales then comments, "The Widow," after being temporarily shook. But he snaps back quickly, jumping to the Saviors defence. Morales says "we're just two assholes who'll do anything to keep going. Only difference is I'm holding the gun." Rick tells him he wouldn't wanna kill him, that he'd find another way. Morales basically tells Rick that he's all talk and that Officer Friendly will go down along with the others. Then, Daryl comes in and shoots Morales in the neck. Rick starts to ask if he saw who that was but Daryl tells him it doesn't matter. Rick says the guns aren't there. Then, the Saviors arrive.
The Savior continues to harass Morgan, noticing that he has Benjamin's armor. Morgan goes to kill him when the walkers literally roll in. Some Saviors die while the Survivors fight. A small group escapes while Morgan and the others fight. Morgan tracks them down and starts shooting. He killed one when Jesus knocks the gun off course. Morgan says they won't change. Jesus says Maggie will find another way. Morgan says Maggie will want them dead for their actions. "War and then peace." Jesus and Morgan start to fight.
Ezekiel's group carries on. He tells them that after each victory, another will follow. Rick and Daryl run. They dive for cover as the bullets fly. They fire back. Morgan and Jesus continue to fight. Morgan gets the drops on Jesus then Jesus drops Morgan. Jesus asks if Morgan wants to stop. Morgan gets the drops on Jesus, but Jesus drops Morgan. Daryl has no bullets. Rick creates a diversion and he and Daryl duck into a cubby. Then, their people come. Morgan and Jesus continue to fight. Jesus wins. He asks Morgan once again if it's over. Something in Morgan has changed. He asks, "What?" Then, he admits he isn't entirely right, but it doesn't make him wrong. Tara tells him he's right. Morgan walks off.
Back at Hilltop, Gregory arrives. He says he needs help. They won't open the gate. Maggie is there. She asks about Gabriel's car and his whereabouts. Gregory admits that he was fearful that they wouldn't defeat Negan but he sees now what they see. Gregory says that everything he said was brought on by Negan. Then Khal warns Maggie of the oncoming company. Maggie wants to kick all them out, but Jesus wants to pin them in two trailers. Turned Saviors eat the dead. Rick takes photos as the others load up and leave. He tares up GBE checklist. Aaron looks for  Erick. He isn't at the tree. He goes to the other SNF says "He can't." Scott tells him it isn't Erick. Aaron does t wanna leave. Rick brings baby Gracie out. Aaron takes her to Hilltop while Daryl and Rick load up. A kid shoots at them. They get the information out of him they want then Daryl kills him. They move out.
In the last scene of the episode, Ezekiel is pleased to know that no forces have been lost. But... a spotter is spotted and... disaster is afoot. The lone gunman fires and kills many. Then, they jump on Ezekiel to shield him.
This episode was INTENSE! What did you think? Will Erick live? Has he turned? What were your thoughts? Tell me in the comments below!

#TheWalkingDead S7 Ep 13 "Bury Me Here" Recap & Review
The episode starts with the kingdomers loading the truck with one cantaloupe, but the mood was a little off everyone looked so sad.
Carol is waking from what seem to have been a nightmare and light her lamp them a cigarette, while Morgan continues to train Benjamin little brother who was complaining about waking up so early to train. Carol heads out to the Kingdom and takes down some walkers in a tree with a street sign which made me a so happy I love badass Carol. When they open the gate to let her in and saw all the walkers down the look on the faces was priceless, she asks Benjamin for Morgan. Carol wanted to know why Daryl and the team came to the Kingdom and if everything was ok at Alexandria. Morgan refuses to tell her what happen to tell that what happen between her and Daryl is between them. Morgan offers to go with her to Alexandria, but by Morgan response, Carol knew that everything was not ok and they were hiding something from her which brought her to tears.  Carol head out and Benjamin offer to accompany her to cottage telling her that he could miss the drop because he was inspired by how she handled the walkers and wanted to learn from her but she refuses to tell him to go the drop.
We see Richard behind a building digging, while Ezekiel looks out his kingdomers studying, picking cantaloupe walking around. My favorite scene of the night Nevada comes to talk to Ezekiel and steps backs a little when she sees Sheba and Ezekiel tell her that Sheba like he and she mumble “that’s what I am afraid of” (the look on the face had me crying from laughing). She had come to tell Ezekiel that is garden had Weaver, and the trees had to cut down and burned to prevent it from spreading and encourage him by telling him that they could all grow back, Sheba agrees and roared, and Nevada tells him that she think she pissed herself. Benjamin gives Morgan and house warming present; a framed he had found while out scavenging.
The Kingdomers gets ready to meet the Saviors for the Kingdom's weekly drop off, on the way, there was a roadblock, and they came out to investigate, but there was nothing out of the ordinary except for a grave behind the building that said bury me here. Though it was disturbing the Kingdomers continues on their journey by clearing the road and heading out.
Gavin tells them that they were late and Ezekiel try to explain, and he told him that doesn’t care, and Jerry yells don’t interrupt the killing, and Jared knocks him in the head with Morgan’s stick, and Gavin tells Ezekiel not to bring that your highness shit to him. He told him that appreciate that he has been delivering but things have become unnecessary tense, and he did not go this route for it and ask them for their guns. Ezekiel asks Gavin to give Morgan his stick back, but he told him that he had a choice and Morgan told him that it was ok. Gavin told them that he took their guns because the thing was about to get emotional because the was only 11 cantaloupes and not 12, Ezekiel told him to count again, but when he goes over, there was only 11. Gavin told Ezekiel that he would have to teach them a lesson and Ezekiel try to offer double the regular delivery, but Gavin did not have it.
Gavin tells them that he was going to teach them a lesson right not, and Jared points his gun at Richard, who says “Just do it,” but shifts his hand at the last second before pulling the trigger and shoots Benjamin in the leg. Gavin tells them to settle down and tells Jared to give Morgan back his stick and get in the truck and not say a word. He then tells Ezekiel to listen “you will make your deliveries on time it’s A’s or S, not I” and that he needed to bring 1 Cantaloupe the next day no more and not less. They rush to Carol’s cottage, but Benjamin eventually dies after bleeding out.
Morgan left the cottage and became deranged, as he was before learning aikido, experiencing flashbacks of his son and wife. He contemplates suicide but backs out. He kicks a crate and finds the missing cantaloupe and realizes that Richard intentionally hid the cantaloupe. Morgan returns to the Kingdom and confronts Richard, who explains that he planned to provoke the Saviors into killing him, as Gavin had promised he'd be the first to die if anything ever went wrong. Richard promised Morgan that he would tell Ezekiel everything and that he would spend the rest of his life making up for Benjamin’s death.
The Kingdomers return to drop off the one Cantaloupe, and Morgan immediately asks Richard if he had told Ezekiel and he told him not right now, Ezekiel tried to inquire what was going to, but the Gavin and the Saviors drove up. Gavin asked about Benjamin with no response he knew he was dead, and immediately tells Jared to start walking before he killed him. Richard walks the 1 Cantaloupe over to Gavin and attempts to explain that he understood but before he could, Morgan who was frustrated by Richard not telling Ezekiel the truth strangles Richard to death. Morgan, they explain to everyone that Richard staged the missing cantaloupe to start a war. After exposing Richard's plan, Morgan assures Gavin using the same word Richard told him, that he knows what's at stake if things went wrong, to which Gavin frightfully consents. Morgan tells Ezekiel that Richard thought that he could choose and that why Dwayne but corrected himself and said, Richard.
Morgan tells them to head back to the Kingdom, then drags Richard's corpse to the open grave he had dogged and buried him there. He then returns to Carol and confesses that Negan and the Saviors killed Abraham and Glenn with a baseball bat and later Spencer, and Olivia. He explains that Rick wants to fight the Saviors and that's why he was in the Kingdom. Morgan prepares to go, intending to go after the Saviors and promises to kill them one by one, but Carol convinces him to stay using the same line Ezekiel told her “you can go and not go.” Carol returns to the Kingdom and finds Ezekiel, telling him she's moving to the Kingdom. Carol tells him that they need to fight and prepare for the imminent war. Ezekiel agrees but tells her that it would not be today as he plants with Benjamin’s younger brother. Finale scene we see Morgan back at the cottage sitting alone on the porch, shaping the end of his fighting stick into a sharp point.

#TheWalkingDead Season 9 Episode 7 "Stradivarius" In-Depth Recap
The Whisperers is here!
Sunday night's episode of The Walking Dead proved yet again why they are the most watched show on television. From good old action to reunited friends with the right amount of drama and animals, AMC knows how to bring it home.
Sunday's episode picked up where it left us at; Rosita terrified, bloody and running for her life all the while whispers are being heard. Taunting her, a group called "The Whisperers" chased her through the woods with their pack of the undead. "She's still here, catch her, this way, and we're getting close" was only some of what they 'whispered.' Then, Rosita suddenly dropped.
When the episode came back from commercial, Daryl, Carol and Henry were walking to Daryl's campsite. Various traps are scattered, and Carol warns Henry to be aware of them. Carol asks about the boat not being fixed then a dog comes up and brings a hand. Carol asks when Daryl ate last, and he tells her that the dog had eaten the day before. Michonne, DJ and Siddiq are on the way to Hilltop with the survivors. Michonne wanted Siddiq to admit to her that her decision to move the survivors to Hilltop is stupid. He won't say yay or nay, but he tells her that he thinks she's going far to prove their story wrong. Michonne admits that there is no trust established. Magna gets riled up about them not having their weapons, so Kelly tells them to chill. Yumiko apologizes to Michonne about Magna's behavior and gives her some insight on the guy they lost to the herd they were being chased by. Then, she asked about Hilltop and Michonne told her to trust her. It skips to The Hilltop where things are going well. Large crop fields are shown, livestock and training are in order, and Jesus is running the show in Maggie's absence. She has been away with Georgie. Tara brings the daily report to him and gives him the rundown of things. Dismissing all things, Jesus stands and says he's going to favor Tammy Rose's expansion and check further out. Daryl and Carol talk while he hunts. He snags a snake and a rabbit. Carol wants Daryl to come with them. He asks her if she wants a babysitter for Henry and she denies that. She tells Daryl Henry is an idealist like Ezekiel. Daryl says Henry has to learn like himself and he did.
When the episode comes back, the group has arrived at the shaken campsite of the new people. They jump out and admit its worse than they thought. They grabbed improvised weapons and killed the few walkers that remained. Michonne and Siddiq watched them. Magna is looking for something when Yumiko came up and told her to take memorabilia of Bernie's to remember him by. Siddiq finds a flute on the ground and tells Michonne that his mother got him one as a child but quickly changed to painting for her sanity. Connie signs to Siddiq that Luke has an obsession or a "fetish" for them. Michonne has DJ load up the weapons, and Magna isn't happy.
Michonne says she won't be having armed strangers entering the Hilltop. She gives them the option of getting their weapons and staying on their own or keeping their weapons and getting a chance at a better future. Kelly thinks they'd be okay on their own, but Yumiko wants to favor with Luke and stay with a better plan. Jesus is seen on his horse when he is suddenly knocked off and tackled. It's Aaron! The two men spar until Jesus sweeps Aaron and the fight is over with. Afterward, they talk about the communities coming back together and the fair. They both want the communities back as one, but the conversation quickly shifts when a flare is seen. They find Rosita shortly after and she is injured. She tells them that Eugene is held up in a barn. They decide he'll have to wait for now and loaded her up and get her to The Hilltop.
Back at Daryl's camp, Dog brings Daryl a piece of the foot. Henry asks why he does that and Daryl tells Henry he has his reasons. He throws it into the fire and starts to prepare dinner. He skins the snake, and Carol says she's impressed. Henry asks her if the real reason they came in for a "shaperone" (Beth flashback). She doesn't answer. Daryl says that dinner will be ready in about thirty minutes and Carol tells him that's perfect timing. "Time for what?" A haircut! She gives him a rugged (season 5) Daryl haircut, and he tells her that he knows she thinks he's out there looking for Rick. She asks if he is and he says that he has never found a body. He admits to her that after a while it just got more comfortable to be out by himself. He acknowledged that it was more peaceful as well. Dinner is done, and they begin to eat. Henry asks about Daryl's scar over his eye, but he dismisses it calling for Dog. Nightfall has come, and everyone is tucked in...or, so Michonne thinks. She was on watch when she heard a noise. Investigating, Michonne finds Luke messing around with something, and when he goes to turn around, she slices it. Everyone comes only to find that she has disarmed him of a vintage Stativarious cut into two. Henry can't sleep. He sees Daryl and follows him only to find a walker in a trap. Daryl confronts Henry then goes away when he hears a bark and a panicked one at that. They find Dog snagged in rope and various walkers trying to get at him. Daryl tells Henry to stay as he goes to kill the undead. Daryl gets snagged but quickly gets out of it and releases Dog just as a walker who was snagged in a trap lunges. Henry stops the walker from getting on Daryl but gets an injured foot. They head back to the camp as Carol watches from a distance, at the ready if needed.
Jesus was coming around the corner to check on Rosita when Tara came from the infirmary and told him she was just a little dehydrated. She said to him it was strange seeing her and Aaron and asked about it. Jesus tells her that he's been training Aaron and trying to keep the line of communication open between the communities. Tara says that people have been taking notice in his long disappearances and tells him that he needs to remember he has people counting on him. Tara says she will go out and look for Eugene. Back at the camp, Daryl was changing shirts when Henry (and us) took notice of an X in the same spot as Michonne (which is strangely enough placed in the same area where the rebar impaled rick). He brings Henry a jar of something for the infection and tells him the meaning of Dog's limb is bringing. He checks the traps and tells him if it's snagged one or not. Henry tells Daryl that Carol misses her best friend and she shouldn't have to. While Luke expresses his profound disturbance of the murder of the violin, Magna and Yumiko cozy up together. He tells them that instruments are an essential piece of humanity, of communities and a key to what makes them not an animal. The next morning, Siddiq tries convincing Michonne one more time to come with them. She tells him that it's not a good idea and he spills the secret of Maggie's departure with Hershel and Georgie. Connie warns everyone of a herd is moving toward them. They run out and see the horde nearing. After a minute, they convince Michonne to let them have their weapons. They all jump into action. Yumiko shot down a shed roof to protect the horses, and they took out enough of the walkers to get away. Magna suddenly cries and leans on Yumiko as a walker-died Bernie comes. Michonne kills it gently. They move on.
At the camp, Daryl is loading up when Carol comes out of the tent. A little awkwardness is exchanged as Daryl asks how she slept and she returns the question. They load up and leave. Michonne tells Yumiko that she understands their pain of loss. She tells Michonne that they'll all get over it. Siddiq apologizes to Michonne about not saying something earlier. Two Hilltop guards suddenly come with news about Rosita. Michonne reluctantly tells them to tell Alexandria that she and her party are moving safely towards Hilltop. Connie spotted something but dismissed it. They run on.
Daryl, Carol, and Henry arrive at Hilltop with a welcome party. Tara and Aaron meet Henry wonders about Enid and Carol and Daryl. After a quick exchange of hugs and greetings, Aaron brings them up to date with Rosita. He tells Daryl Eugene is still out there and they need a tracker. Daryl agrees, and Henry wants to go. Carol tells him no and takes him to get settled in. Jesus tells Tara that he's going with because he knows the terrain best. Tara says she'll stay back. Jesus armors up then they head out with Daryl and Dog in the lead.
What did you think of this episode? Tell me in the comments below!
Episode 7 was excellent, a great one for the books. Even though Rick isn't around with them, he's still in the presence, and I can feel him. Can you? How will they deal with The Whisperers in the Mid Finale next week? How will The Whisperer war begin? Next week is only the start. Are you ready?

#TheWalkingDead Season 8 Episode 15 "Worth" Recap + Questions and Theories
Sunday, April 8th, 2018 Episode 15, "Worth" was the slowest yet most rewarding since the eighth season began back in October of 2017. Since the groundbreaking 100th episode of the series, The Walking Dead has made many fans worldwide unhappy. But, they did "Worth" justice. *WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS EXPLICIT DETAIL FROM SUNDAY NIGHT'S EPISODE "WORTH." IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT, TURN BACK NOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!*
Worth' opened up with Rick reading Carl's letter along with a busy community below. As the letter went, you heard actor Chandler Riggs doing the letter voiceover as Carl Grimes. About halfway through, he sees Michonne heading inside with Judith. She sees him reading the letter and smiles. When the letter ends, Michonne is seen laying on the bed. She sits up and goes inside of a nightstand drawer and pulls out Negan's letter.
When it comes back, Gregory is with Simon. He tells the pathetic former Hilltop leader that his actions made him look like an ass. Gregory says things changed since 'Margret' took over. Simon informs him that he has taken over as head honcho and turned his words on him. Gregory says it's a stupid idea to kill him and he WON'T go out as Simon wants. Next thing Gregory knows is the pattern of the wood on the floor because Simon knocks him to the floor, breaking his nose. Simon tells him he planned on killing him, but they can talk over coffee. The scene changes to the members of the Oceanside clan searching the surrounding forest for Aaron. They still can't believe he's decided to die out there trying to change their minds. At Eugene's outpost, the wives have crafted Eugene a brain-powering food that he used to eat in college and from that point forth, all will eat it. He tells the members of his bullet crew that Simon has ordered an astronomically large amount of bullets made by the following day. He tells them they'll scrape the minimum to keep him happy. He finds a bad bullet made by Gabriel and gets on him. He removes him from the line and tells him to weep quietly in the corner. Eugene tells him he's going to fire off a few test rounds. When he gets outside, his guard is shot by an arrow, and the door guard falls dead, killed by Rosita. They rush him off property quickly. Dwight goes out to smoke when Negan's whistle is heard. Stopped dead in his tracks, Dwight can only look with shock. Negan likes his element of surprise and says that he shouldn't be shocked that he's alive. Dwight admits that with the evidence he and Simon found, he wasn't too sure if he was alive or not.  Negan tells him it was like a punch in the dick when no one came. He and Dwight move a dumpster, and he tells to remember all they have done and can do. Dwight glances out to a walker that's chained to the fence.
A meeting is in session mainly focused on Simon and his decision to defy Negan and sabotage the Hilltop. He admits his wrongdoing, granted he kinda has to but still admits it with no wavering. He asks his boss to 'give him a pass' this once a Negan brings up the dirty past. Then, he tells him to get on his knees. Simon does t fight it. Negan asks if he's going to make a move and he says there's no point to. After a drawing moment of suspension, Negan tells Simon to get up, and all is forgiven. Meeting adjourned. Negan holds Dwight back though. Negan compliments him on his never changing devotion despite his horrible things they've happened. He does what he has to for him to keep going. Negan smiles.
Daryl and Rosita are walking with Eugene.  He thinks they're taking g him back for the comradely factor but truth be told they only want what's in his head. First Daryl goes off on him then Rosita follows.  Rosita tells him to do something useful with his pathetic life. Dwight is mapping out a secondary map when someone knocks. It's Simon. He says they need to talk 'seriously'. Something needs to be done with Negan. Dwight agrees and this makes Simon happy. Daryl and Rosita turn and find a small gathering of the dead. Daryl offers to kill them while she watches Dr. Traitor. She watches over Daryl and gives Eugene the perfect escape to puke-bomb Rosita and escape. They chase after him when he was under their nose all along.
A weak. version of Aaron is seen passed out under a tree as the sky pours the rain. He wakes suddenly and drinks the gathered water he's managed to collect. When he hears a walker, he prepares to fight but he is beyond weak and exhausted. He fights off a small pack Later on, he hears Rachel, a child Oceansider, ask if he's dead. Aaron wakes and preaches to them that the only way to escape the wrath of Negan and his men is to FIGHT. He falls backwards.
Dwight is by the dumpster waiting when the others come. While they improvise a plan of attack against the boss man, Negan is hearing it all. At the end of the chat, he appears while all of the other men minus Gregory fall dead. Simon jumps at Dwight and Arat and another hold him back. He asks why and Negan tells him because of the garbage people. He tells him he's gonna give him one last chance, though. Negan smiles and tells Simon 'If you wanna be the man, you gotta beat the man.' Inside of the Sanctuary factory, a group of all the Saviors both workers and fighters has gathered. Simon and Negan fight brutally. While it's commencing, Dwight and Gregory sneak away. He tells him to tell Rick "not tomorrow" and gives him a map. Gregory leaves. Negan knocks Simon to the ground and begins to strangle the backstabber to death. He yells at him "you got Saviors killed then you ran away like a coward!" When he's dead and Negan stands, he tells the crowd, "what an asshole."
Gregory gets to the Hilltop and is immediately put behind the fence jail. Maggie gives Rick the map. Negan and Dwight walk towards Dwight's room. Negan tells him it was a serious waste but what was bad for him was good for D. Negan offers the right hand man position to him and Dwight accepts. He promises to help out with finishing Rick. Negan says he already has. When Dwight opens his door, Laura is there. He tries to run but is blocked. She tells him that he looks surprised and tells the story of Dwight's treasury. Negan laughs and tells him he knew the fake ass plan would be delivered to Rick. Then he says he has plans for Dwight. Eugene gets back to the outpost and orders every last person to begin making bullets. Negan's orders will be filled by they following day. Then, he quote Rosita: "Time to do something useful with our pathetic lives."
A freshly turned Simon is on the walker fence at the Sanctuary. Negan is overlooking the fence when Michonne comes over the radio. She wants to read Negan the letter Carl wrote. After a few choice words between the two, she reads the letter to him. He shows true emotion throughout, sadness, anger, and realizing that the future serial killer is gone. When she finishes, he tells her that after everything has been done, there is no going back, and he wouldn't accept their surrender if they were on hands and knees begging. He says he never wanted what happened, but Rick made it happen. "You tell him no more talk." He throws the Walkie Talkie down and crushes it to pieces with his foot.
Wow...this episode...just wow. What did you think of Sunday's episode? Let me know in the comments below.
Here are some theories for Sunday's 2 Hour season finale.
What will happen to Dwight? In episode 15, Dwight was busted. Surely, Negan will imprison him. But will he survive? This is hard to answer. With the way they have been going with switching things up, I'm leaning towards no, Dwight will not survive. I believe Negan's comment in the trailer for the finale 'it's time to clean house' Dwight will be a victim of Negan's Wrath.
What will happen to Father Gabriel? I think Gabriel is safe from Negan's Wrath. I think Gabriel will only be used for an example rather than an actual murder.
Who will die?    Personally, I think A LOT of people will die in the finale. Dwight may die, multiple people from the Savior will die, Morgan may die, Carol may die, many people from Oceanside may die, and a handful of Hilltop people may die too. It is going to be one bloody season finale...
Will Rick and Co fall victim?     No. Dwight warned them not to attack 'tomorrow.' So, with that being a large hint, I don't think that they'll fall into Negan's trap.
Negan's Fate:    I think Negan will be badly injured, maybe within an inch of his life but not dead. Rick may have a come around and imprison the villain instead of killing him. And then again, maybe not. I personally a meaning towards imprisonment.
What do you guys think of my theories? Do you agree? Do you think differently? Drop a line in the comments below and Let me know!

#TheWalkingDead Season 8 Episode 10 "The Lost And The Plunderers" In-Depth Recap Plus Questions
Sunday, March 4th, 2018
*WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS EXPLICIT DETAIL FROM SUNDAY NIGHT'S EPISODE "THE LOST AND THE PLUNDERERS." IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT, TURN BACK NOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!*
Sunday's episode was extremely important because last week Carl died, changing the whole dynamic of the show. The episode was spliced into pieces rather than a whole, going from person to person instead of a free-flowing episode. So, let's get this recap on the roll, shall we?
Michonne: Michonne and Rick could be seen hovering over Carl's grave. Rick goes to leave the gun on Carl's grave as they walk away but thinks twice. He grabs it, and they head to the van. Michonne spots the cabana Carl sat on and sees its on fire. So, she and Rick decide to put it out. But after walkers surround them, they bail. They leave the Safe Zone infested with walkers and empty. A while down the road, Rick is seen fighting back the tears. He asks her how long Carl means, do they surrender to Negan and stop fighting? Michonne says they could pull over and read the letters. He doesn't want to yet. She sees a letter addressed to Negan. Then, Rick says he has to talk to Jadis. When they arrive, the Junkyard is empty. They trigger a trap that sends a bunch of trash down, and walkers suddenly pile in.
Negan: He's radioing to someone, mentioning the Hilltop is surrounded so they'll see them if and when they arrive. Simon walks in, and Negan tells him the 'one-eyed pride and joy' was 'built for this shit.' Simon wants to do more, but Negan wants Simon front and center. Negan wants Simon to be reniform them of their "suck my barrel" deal that Negan had in place for them. He tells him the standard deal, just one. Negan senses Simon's disdain, so Negan tells him to speak up. He tells Negan that they should cut all ties with them and find another community. Negan tells Simon to take his own advice. Negan tells Simon that what they do is hard. Rick is the target, and once he is taken out, the order will be resolved. Three Saviors bring in Maggie's delivery. They leave it, and Simon opens the box. They kill the Walker inside, and Simon becomes irate. Negan yells, ordering Simon to do his job.
Enid: Enid and Aaron are escorted into the main building and are tied to the radiator like Tara was when she was held captive. Beatris, Sydney and two others talk over what to do with the captives. Rachel says they should just kill them. Aaron pleads. They leave. Enid tells Aaron that she made her kill her. She confesses she would do it again if she had to know how it felt. When they come back, Sydney tells them to take them to the beach, but Enid pops up and says they better have a good reason for killing them and demands to know why.  Then she tells them not to make the same mistake Sydney's grandmother did. Sydney lets them live. They want to know when the war is one. They escort them out of Oceanside. Once they leave, Aaron tells her he won't leave. She says they'll kill him. They make a promise to see one another alive and safe again.
Simon: Simon's crew awaits his order. When he arrives, he tells them they're going to The Junkyard. When they arrive, guns are drawn. He tells them to chill. He needs a heartfelt apology and an act of confession. Jadis tells him there was no deal made with Rick. Simon calls bullshit. He says all can be forgiven for their guns. Jadis says there is a need. But, the guns are handed over. Simon comments on Jadis' artwork and asks why the Junkyard. She says "ours." Simon wants to know about the helipad and solar panels, but she isn't giving that one up. He wants a new deal, and he shoots Jadis' right hand and her lead commander. She hits him and yells in unbroken English that this is remorse you son of a bitch. Simon doesn't believe and tells his men to kill them. When he arrives at the Sanctuary, Negan is scowling. He awaits. Simon is acting guilty. Negan sees the guns then walks away. He looks down and sees blue paint on in his boot.
Jadis: Rick and Michonne are seen fighting off walkers that are presumably the walker versions of The Junkyard Crew. They scramble to the top of a pile where she is heard calling to them. She tells them the Saviors. She says she used to come to the junkyard and find things to paint on. Now the world is the canvas, and they're the paint. Rick says they're all dead and it's on her. Rick makes a shield and he and Michonne smash through walkers. Jadis follows. Rick shoots, and they head for her. She runs. They escape. Jadis is seen calling the walkers. She leads them to a giant meat grinder and grinds them into a ground walker. She watches helplessly as her former people become mush. She even contemplates joining I think. But, she turns the machine off. She grabs a box of applesauce and eats. She thinks...
Rick: He's driving. He says he just wanted Jadis gone, not dead. She says it felt like what Can meant, what they should do. He pulls over and tells her he needs a second. He grabs the stack of letters and a walkie and walks off. The first letter as an address to him; Dad. The second letter is addressed to Negan. He opens it. After reading it, Rick whispers "No." He walkies to talk to Negan. The quick-witted villain which response. Rick breaks the news quickly and Negan look visibly disturbed. He apologizes to Rick and asks if it was them. Rick tells him that Carl got bitten helping someone. He told Negan that Carl asked for peace and the war to end. But, it's too late for that. "I'm gonna kill you," Rick tells him. Negan tells Rick he had plans for Carl and that Carl was the future. Rick tells Negan that the only future is one where Negan's dead. Negan asks Rick why he's still fighting. He blames Carl's death on Rick because he wasn't there. Negan says he saves people; he stops people from dying. He says he is the answer. He tells him not to let shit decisions get anyone else killed. He says he killed Rick's friends (Abraham and Glenn) so that no one else had to die. He then tells Rick that's why he failed as a leader and as a Father. He tells Rick to give up because he has already lost...
Damn you Negan!?! Why do you have to twist words as you do?!? What did you think of Sunday's episode? Will Negan find out about Simon's assassination lineup? Will Jadis join Oceanside? Tune in to AMC at 9 p.m. this Sunday to find out.
