The thing is. Barnabas!Eddie would I think have a very different reaction to the beginning of season five and the Jeffrey arc, because of his and Athena's torturing-and-killing-a-guy-a-few-times-and-dying-together bonding that Athena doesn't know about. This would be very fun to explore, except for one problem, which is that I fucking hate that arc.

The Start of Something Beautiful || Teddy & Mickayla

Teddy had only been in the asylum for a week now, and he couldn't say that he was a fan. He missed Matt and Beau back at home. They were the only people that really ever talked to him, or wanted to listen. And now, even with the therapists and the doctors, he felt like he had no one. Which was why he spent most of his time in the cafeteria or the library. They had the two things he loved the most-- books, and food. 

Walking with his tray, chicken tacos on one side, two cups of orange sherbert on the other, he looked around for a table. Every one of them seemed to be filled with people he didn't want to associate with- not yet at least. He needed to get his footing before he started messing around with anyone. The only table semi-appealing was one that a small brunette sat out, around the age of ten. 

He approached it, "May I sit?" Teddy asked kindly, hoping he wouldn't scare her away. Currently, they were forbidding him to wear long sleeve shirts. This left his wounds open and revealed to the public eye. That might have been the reason he was having such a hard time making friends-- whenever he tried to talk to someone, the booked it in the opposite direction, noticing the wounds as bite marks from his own teeth. 

Who wanted to spend time with someone who ate themselves? Apparently no one.
