Erin and Theresa are TSG Boise members and owners of the sweetest little cookie shop, ONE HAUTE COOKiE. They make the most beautifully decorated cookies, cakes and treats for all sorts of different occasions from weddings to baby showers! While their business is sugar, and spice, and everything nice, their taste in music is a little on the wild side in the best way! Check out what keeps them cookin’ in this segment of “Sounds of.”

When you walk into Erin and Theresa’s cookie shop in Garden City, it smells like heaven! The counter is decorated in the cutest cookies and prettiest desserts you’ll ever see! But little do you know, while they’re decorating baby shower cookies in the back, they’re jamming to 2Pac and Ice Cube!

These ladies have a fun playlist with varying genres. They have a tasteful amount of 90’s rap and a satisfying selection of classic hits from Tom Petty and Guns N’ Roses. This just goes to show their diverse nature! They can create virtually any cookie design you can imagine, as well as sing along to any genre from modern R&B to Classic Rock.

Sounds of... Ann Elizabeth Jewelry

Ann Westley is a TSG Boise member and owner of Ann Elizabeth Jewelry. The Chicago native may surprise you with her taste in music! In this segment of “Sounds of,” Ann shares with us her favorite tunes, and let me tell you, we never would have guessed!

In her segment of “Getting to Know Us,” Ann expressed that her love for Country music was something that she considers to be a fun fact about herself, and we do too! Ann grew up in Libertyville, Illinois which is a Northern suburb of Chicago. However, when she came to Boise, she fell quickly in love with Country music and even her two boys have grown to enjoy it!

Ann’s playlist is a fun mix of modern and old style Country. She enjoys some classic Garth Brooks and “The River” while also singing along to some Luke Bryan and “Drink a Beer.” The Zac Brown Band keeps her zen with “Sweet Annie,” and Dolly Parton keeps her sassy with “Jolene!”

Sounds of... The Runaway Hamsters

Musical artists, The Runaway Hamsters share their playlist with us in our “Sounds of” series!

Ever wonder what kind of music musicians listen to? We took a dive into the musical interests of Scout Guide Boise members The Runaway Hamsters (TRH). This local band has made it big time with their rock n’ roll n’ country pop sound! TRH is made up of four siblings: 14-year-old Isabella, and 12-year-old triplets Abby, Gabby, and Riley.

Aside from creating their own music, they have a list of their favorite tunes that they’ve shared with us. This playlist features a fun mix of country and pop. It includes an impressive amount of classics from idols Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash as well as some newer hits from Kacey Musgraves and Blake Shelton. What’s even more fun, TRH’s playlist features a flavorful splash of Shawn Mendes and Imagine Dragons.

For a country focused group, this crew has their fair share of variety in genres on their playlist. It truly encompasses the young, energetic vibe that TRH projects. You can’t help but dance around and sing along when listening to this playlist.
