I was going through my tablet and found these, I remember making them after you answered an ask I sent you about headconons about what the beast looks like under his shadows. Again, I know he does have a canon design but I find myself unable to draw him. Don’t get me wrong His canon design is perfect for his character and makes a ton of sense but my trypophobia will not allow me to look at it for more then 5 seconds so I have 0 chance of drawing it lmao

I was planning on sending you this or posting it ages ago, I can’t remember why I never got around to it. I think it may have been because I couldn’t figure which pallet I liked more for his color, the black or the white one. What do you think? (:

These are lovely! The way that fur tapers into wood is very interesting, it very much adds to the strange nature of the Beast as something that's not quite plant or animal but something deeply deeply wild. The way you draw fur is so compelling and shapey, and I love the way it accentuates the shape of the body. Both color palates are lovely with their subtle deer patterning, but the second one is very interesting, the pale coloring would make a lot more sense in snow, and it almost carries a narrative implication he wears the black fur to hunt at night, and when the snow comes down he hunts without it, but that leads me to believe the darkness around his hands and feet is some sort of soot or dirt he intentionally uses to help hide himself during the darkness, and I love a hint of ruthless practicality from the Beast. It makes me wonder if he stains his face in ash or oil too.

And of course how could I not love the fact that Enoch is flirting in frame, and the Beast is indulging it too! Planting a kiss on a ribbon wrapped around his arm like a brace, with eyes turned blue at the edges how sweet!

The Hero is still for a long time. Then they reach out a bloodied hand towards Charlie. The wires still leaking from his hand spark again. Charlie takes the hand, and allows himself to be led into the other room. He sits on the sofa, and the Hero hesitates before doing the same.

The tv screen before them sparks to life. The images change too fast to properly see, flashing through a series of recordings before turning to static. The Hero leans forward intently, and tries again. The images appear once more. Charlie and Security. The button. Hetch. The heart of the facility. The choice. An audio recording of Hetch’s voice, explaining how Showfall “repurposes” the people there. CCTV footage of employees dragging Security away from Charlie’s lifeless body, and a later recording of them welding wires and stitching flesh together.

The Hero slumps forward, exhausted.

Hello friends and followers!

A hearty welcome to everyone who’s new, and a few words to everyone, period: 
I have never stopped posting to this account, however you might have noticed that… I haven’t been the most consistent with tagging. Henceforth, since some people have been fleeing back from twitter to tumblr, I figured it would be nice for everyone if I finally started doing that.

I will not retag all my previous posts, I don’t have that kind of time. However, henceforth I shall use the following system for all your following and blacklisting needs:

-My own art will be tagged as “Fran’s art tag”, with two subcategories which will also be tagged: “Fran’s OC tag” and “fanart” (pretty much what I’m doing on Pillowfort). For the past few years I’ve pretty much only drawn OCs from the same series (a comic that I’m still working on), but should the need arise I’ll start introducing separate tags for separate series. -I will tag the name of the series/show/game/whatever I am making fanart of and ships if applicable but not every single character, nor every single variety of their shipname. -If you ever need me to tag triggers or anything else, please feel free to send me a DM and I’ll see what I can do! -This account is strictly for art, which means I will only post my own art and occasionally announcements like this one. I’ll tag that as “Fran talks”. This also means you can browse through all the art I’ve ever posted here simply by going through the entire blog instead of any of the tags. -However, since tumblr ever allows you to like+follow with the first blog you’ve ever created, I will still comment and follow you from my personal account, @toradh. Have some more of my current brainrot... Chaeya in the world of Tales of Zestiria XD This is far from the finished design of what I would want femkae to wear in ToZ. I drew this mostly as a base and to have some fun with brushes and 3D models XD And also... I saw this pose in Clip Studio Assets some while ago and thought of Kaeya right away. I, of course, saved the pose for future use and here we are XD (funny how the pose is tagged 'villain' (>x<))

Poor Childe is too big to be part of the pic in his giant Serpent form... Was thinking of drawing him as a smaller serpent wrapped around femkae's shoulders... But this looks way more intimidating with him too big for the frame XD And there are some changes I wanna try and do to the 3D model of the serpent head... The gems, lace brush, serpent head, pose and sword are all found online... the sword is the only thing I had to spend money on because no one wanna do genshin weapons in 3D for free -.-

pure self-indulgence. all of my killugon fics are but man, i love a good nightmare-induced hurt/comfort full of consent, words of affirmation, and tackling one’s trauma together. this one took a few months to come together because i was continuously dissatisfied with the end (which happens to me a lot, unfortunately) but i’m really proud of a lot of the dialogue and just the overall tender vibe i accomplished toward the end after much struggle lol

let me tell you, leopika fully possessed me for a good month during which i wrote when i don’t touch you it’s a mistake in any life & this before they flounced off into the void again leaving me with three additional WIPs that may never see the light of day. thankfully i was able to bang this out beforehand; it’s one of those fics where you have a super niche need and you can’t find it anywhere so you have to create it yourself. it’s different from my normal cavity-inducing fluff but it was fun to try something packed with a desperate sort of yearning that ends in a semi-realistic bittersweet tone.

tbh this one is probably not on anyone’s radar because the fandom is older and i came into it 1000 years late lol but i really enjoyed writing the environmental descriptions in this. i have a tendency to include very minimal background information when i write because i focus a lot on the characters feelings and actions/dialogue, so this was a nice change of pace for me stylistically. worldbuilding can be intimidating for me but on the few occasions i’ve given it a go, i like to think i did pretty well lol

TW for sexual assault, CSA, rape, incest and murder.

I don’t know how to start this but I am 99% sure that my fic is currently in the middle of some tumblr drama. The fic isn’t named (so I won’t name it either) but there aren’t many fics like this one so I can pretty confidently say that it’s mine.

Firstly I want to apologise to anyone who has gotten upset/trigged if they read my fic. This was never my intention which is why my fic is tagged heavily with anything I could think of. But truly, to anyone who was hurt by my fic I am sorry.

I am also not going to talk about the sever becuase I wasn’t in it. I don’t know what happened aside from the screenshots. From the looks of it, an accident happened and it was dealt with. 

I didn’t even know that my fic was apart of this drama. I only follow one person involved in anyway with this drama so it was a shock to log on this morning and see that people are getting hate for reading my fic. 

This is the part that confuses me the most. @liamannt and @creamykaspbrak didn’t write this fic and the screenshots I saw didn’t show them glorifying or hyping my fic. One message called it disgusting, which yeah, it is. I understand that people can’t send me hate on here but you could have directed the hate towards my comment section instead of to innocent people? 

I’ve also seen the post which is discussing my fic. Hate it if you want, that doesn’t bother me especially given the dark subject matter but don’t lie about me to justify it. One quote that I saw it “a fic which was based around the sexual exploitation of toddlers by their parents. This was not a fic about recovery or trauma, it was written for sexual pleasure detailing the abuse of the children.” And yes, the sexual assault of both R*chie and Ed*ie (censoring so this doesn’t come up in searches) is a central part of the story. It’s about the abuse - sexual and emotional - that they suffer at the hands of M*ggie and W*nt. 

I’d even argue that the fic isn’t about recovery becuase it’s not happy! They don’t recover after all this. R, especially in later chapters, is worse than his parents. That’s the point. It’s about a child being raised in an extremely awful environment and what happens to him, his relationships with his friends and family and with E. 

But this fic is not for sexual pleasure. It is not written to be enjoyed. It’s supposed to be a dark, scary and uncomfortable story. It’s also not glorifying the abuse of the kids. One of the ways this is achieved is by writing it in R’s (and occasionally E’s) POV. He sees nothing wrong with it becuase of how he’s been raised, E sees nothing wrong with it because M*ggie emotionally manipulates him into seeing nothing wrong with what they do. The abuse is also not detailed, in fact R glosses over it a lot becuase he’s a child and doesn’t understand

A lot of the comments I get, especially earlier on when R wasn’t as aware of his situation and thus narrated it in a such a way, discussed how they disliked S*nia more than the Toz*ers because her abuse is much more obvious to a child-minded R and therefore the audience becuase of how it’s written. Even though S*nia is no where near as bad as the Toz*ers who are literally serial killers raised R and E to be like them. Again, that’s the point. Because R doesn’t like S*nia so the audience gets a negative view of her becuase it’s from his POV. Again, this fic is a horror. 

The purpose is to make you uncomfortable BECAUSE you side with R. 

This story is a psychological story, meant to be scary and make you sick to read (and write) told through an unreliable narrator who doesn’t see things as bad - sexual assault, both being the victim and abuser, and murder - while the reader does see those things as bad. 

The tumblr user who wrote this post might have gotten that if she had read it, as she said in her post: “I did not read this work.”

Another user said “The fic in question is a heinous rape fic where parents have sexual relationships with toddlers. That fic is NOT about navigating or exploring trauma. It’s straight up csa porn. I read the first chapter or maybe two, to see if it was about something other than sexy child rape, and it’s not! And guess what! I didn’t tell anyone about it or advertise it in any way because it’s disgusting.”

We’ve already discussed the first part - it is about exploring trauma and abuse but it is not about recovery. The sexual parts aren’t detailed, more often than not they’re referenced (not every time - there are more detailed scenes-, especially when it’s just R and E even as kids). 

And no one is meant to see this as sexual, and from my comments no one does. @bimmyshrug discusses the fic and is practically perfect in her analysis of how I wanted it to come across. Whether you agree or not is a different matter.

But again, they say they only read 2 chapters in (at most) and the first two chapters features no CSA. Murder and abuse, yes. Which would justify the disgusting comment but don’t call my fic ‘sexy child rape’ just because you don’t like it. 

(the fic also has 21 chapters now and will finish with 24 so I don’t see why people are making such point-blank statements with one or two chapters worth of info) 

Reading and enjoying a story with dark material doesn’t mean you condone that material. We’re a fandom based on a book about child murder but none of us support murdering children. 

This is a long post but I’m going to sum it up now. If you don’t like my story or even hate it; that is fine, understandable and I don’t mind nor care. Send hate to me if you want on this blog. But stop sending hate/lying/making up rumours/whatever against other people just becuase they read it/shared it. 

(I don’t know how I’d prove that I’m the author but I can if needed.)

Rolance and Hyland were now working together on a variety of initiatives. Rebuilding destroyed towns, reseeding blighted fields, purging the land of the hellions that still roamed and of the lingering pockets of resistance to the kingdoms’ treaty. Alisha, of course, worked tirelessly; alongside Sergei, when he was available, but always Rose. Rose was still styling on the Shepherd Incognito thing – she was just used to working in the shadows when it came to things outside the Sparrowfeathers business, and it was easier besides.

There were those who remembered the Shepherd Sorey, and tales of his deeds were spreading; tales made larger than life and more wild by his sudden disappearance, at the very same time hope returned to the land. Surely he will return when humanity becomes pure enough. He sleeps under the mountain, waiting for this day. Leave offerings at the mantle for his seraphic helpers to bring to him each night. Rose was kind of worried about how Sorey would react to having a religion built up around him when he finally woke up.

Rose knew that taking up the Shepherd gig wouldn’t be easy. Sure, Sorey was stuck handling the really hard stuff. (She sent up a little prayer every night to wish him well – she never prayed in the past, never thought anyone would listen, but now she knew that Sorey would and was and always will.) But she was stuck handling the really annoying stuff.

“…and I tell you this in utter sincerity, and above all, humility: the moment I appeared on the scene, the hellion took a single look at me and turned tail! I spoke naught a word, but the foul creature surely understood the overwhelming holy power at my command.” Malfore nodded gravely, and adjusted that stupid fucking beret on his stupid fucking skull. “It is a heavy burden. I do not intend to upset your delicate feminine composure with my travel accounts – please do let me know if you feel that you are about to faint from terror. But I tell you these tales for a reason. Understand, ladies, that you are safe under my protection as we travel.”

“Cool story, bro,” Rose said. Alisha was stiff as a rail, walking several paces ahead of them, clearly too infuriated to trust herself to speak. “I bet that was totally a hellion and not just like, a fat raccoon you saw knocking over the garbage cans behind the Shrinechurch one time.”

“Yes, it was truly a saga for the ages,” Malfore said, clearly not having registered a word she said. “I am indeed writing a memoir about my experiences, so please, do be patient while the creative process works. Ah, but that brings to mind another encounter…”

The mission they were on today was, indeed, dangerous. They were out to investigate a string of destructive landslides that threatened to dam up a major shipping highway between Rolance and Hyland – which would bring trade, not to mention transport of relief supplies and doctors, to a screeching halt. Preliminary scouting around the area led to the grim conclusion that they were probably dealing with a drake. An impossible task for the Hyland princess and her troop of ordinary soldiers (and her totally ordinary merchant pal who was only tagging along to make sure their supply train kept running smoothly) to be expected to deal with herself. And so, Rolance had graciously allowed Hyland to borrow their Shepherd (who was Totally Legit, and definitely not a fake asshole who didn’t know a hellion from a hole in the ground) to help with the process of retaking the river.

Rose was used to humoring pompous windbags – it was part of the customer service gig. Even Edna and Lailah had learned to live with the situation for the time being. But Alisha…well. She’d been condescended to and insulted and disregarded by people all her life, and had taken it with a kind of martyr attitude; as if it was simply a test to make her a better knight. But Malfore seemed to really be stretching her patience to the breaking point. She’d hardly said a word the past few days – as if Malfore had even let them get a word in, with all his yapping, but even when they were in their tent alone together, she was as silent as a stone, and as prickly as a pufferfish every time Rose approached.

“May I explain Alisha’s struggle?” Lailah asked politely.

Rose jumped a mile at the sudden sound of Lailah’s voice in her head. Malfore laughed magnanimously, and gently patted Rose on her head like a scared puppy. He removed his hand before Rose could break his fucking fingers.

“Fear not, for as I am standing here in front of you today, you can be assured that this story has a happy end. Now, as I was saying, I was wooing the beautiful water seraph who had rescued me from my sinking vessel, when the pirates attacked…”

“I’m going to bury him in dirt and bugs tonight while he sleeps and you can’t stop me,” Edna said.

“Now, now,” Lailah said mildly, not even pretending to dissuade her. “Regarding Alisha’s stress, it is clear that she is upset by Malfore’s falsehoods above all.”

“That makes approximately all of us,” Rose whispered back under her breath. Gesticulating wildly as he mimed the pirate battle, Malfore didn’t notice one bit. “But she’s spent her whole life working with politicians. I’ve seen her with them before, and she’s never gotten like this even when they’re lying through their teeth.”

“It is the nature of Malfore’s falsehoods, specifically. She is clearly quite upset at the thought of him taking credit for your and Sorey’s hard work and sacrifice.”

“And she can’t even call him out on it, or bury him in bugs and dirt,” Edna added. “This Rolance treaty is more trouble than it’s worth.”

“I don’t remember ever fighting off a hellion raccoon,” Rose said dubiously. “Or wooing a water seraph. Unless bringing that stack of books for Mikleo to read on his downtime counts.”

Mikleo was usually too preoccupied with tending to Sorey’s light in the ruins to come along on these missions, but this time it was probably for the best – he’d probably be stomping along ahead, fuming at Malfore’s bullshit right alongside Alisha.

Which, in turn, would have resulted in them both getting caught up in the sudden landslide that knocked Alisha off her feet and sent her tumbling down the mountain. Her form rapidly became a white and pink speck as it was swept away under a tide of mud and stone, down into the river below. Rose heard the telltale shriek of a drake, and jerked her eyes away from Alisha just in time to see the creature charging at them from the woods.

“Hepsin Yulind!”

Edna’s stone fists grasped the drake by its curled, goat-like horns. Rose dug the ornate heels of her boots into the ground; only barely managing to halt the drake’s charge with the armatus’ strength before it knocked her down the mountain and into the drink with Alisha. The drake, undaunted, thrashed its head in an attempt to break Rose’s grip.

“Think fast!” Edna snapped at her. “You can’t expect me to keep this up forever!”

Even if Edna’s grip remained true, their footing was becoming less and less existent, with every stomp and thrash of the drake’s cloven hooves. If they didn’t get on solid ground fast, both she and the drake would wind up careening down the mountainside – she had no idea where Alisha was down there, and would have no way to keep her from getting crushed by ten tons of malevolent scales. That would ruin her day even faster than Malfore rambling about pirates and racoons. She had no idea where that idiot had run off to – he certainly wasn’t helping, not that Rose would have wanted to have to deal with whatever his idea of “help” would be. Alas, Rose was the only Shepherd on call today. What a tragedy.

In situations like these, Rose liked to go by the mantra: What Would Sorey Do?

“Yeehaw!” Rose yeehawed yeehawingly, and flipped herself onto the drake’s back.

She held on for dear life as the drake shrieked and bucked. With the horns in her grip, she was able to steer them – inexpertly, and clumsily, but it was enough to get the drake to tangle itself in the trees and crash headlong into the mountain face. It was stunned, stunned long enough for Rose to summon Lailah’s power and get to work.

“Here,” Rose said hurriedly, lowering the unconscious earth seraph to the ground in front of Lailah. “Keep an eye on them, I’ve gotta—”

“Thank your radiant Lady Edna for her compassion?” Edna asked. She had Alisha held aloft in a bower of vines and flowers – Rose hadn’t noticed her slip away while she and Lailah purified the drake. Alisha was soaked from the river, and covered in scratches and bruises, but was conscious, and struggling against the vines that held her tight. “You’re welcome. Here’s your special delivery.”

“I—I’m so sorry,” Alisha managed to get out. Rose helped her down from the vines, and slung Alisha’s arm around her shoulders to steady her. “If I hadn’t been acting so childishly, I…I wouldn’t have put everyone in danger…”

“And we would have had no heads up that the drake was two seconds away from charging us flat.” Rose thumped her on the back, and Alisha grunted at the feeling. “Believe me, that could’ve gone way worse…speaking of worse, did you see if our friend came tumbling after you? We were down one Shepherd in that little scuffle.”

Alisha’s eyes narrowed, and her expression darkened at hearing of Malfore’s…lack of participation. “…no, I did not see whether he was knocked down alongside me. I suppose we must form a search party.”

“Don’t bother,” Edna said. She pointed into the trees with her umbrella. A telltale fallen beret pinpointed the location. “He’s cowering under a bush over there. Better go get him before the poison ivy does.”

Rose sighed. “Sometimes I really wish this Shepherd gig really was just fighting hellions. C’mon, I’ll help you walk…”

To his credit, Malfore only screamed a little when Rose drew back the leaves covering his hiding spot. He stared at Rose in wide-eyed terror, his complexion pale, his whole body shaking.

“Nice to see you’re well, Lord Shepherd,” Rose said. She dropped his beret back onto his head.

“You…how…” Malfore grasped for words. “You…wrestled the landslide itself, as if – as if it were some charging beast—”

Rose distantly recalled Lailah explaining that humans without resonance couldn’t quite perceive drakes – dragons were a different story, but before things got that bad, drakes could only be seen as natural disasters. Whirlwinds, typhoons. Landslides. Her escapades probably did look pretty damn weird to an outside observer.

It would be nice to tell him the truth. It would be nice to grab him by the ear, and forcibly share enough resonance with him to show him the real deal – show him what a fake he really was. But…Rose looked at Alisha, at the unhappy line of her mouth, at her bruised and battered body. She understood what was going through Alisha’s mind, even without Lailah’s voice to tell her. Alisha worked herself to the bone to improve relations with Rolance. She’d made so much progress, and they were helping so many people. As they helped people, the world’s malevolence lightened; as the world’s malevolence lightened, they helped Sorey. And to keep this going, all they had to do was humor an idiot.

Rose closed her eyes, and gently eased Alisha to stand on her own. She crossed her arms over her chest, and pressed one hand to her heart.

“I’ll tell you my secret – but only you,” Rose said, her expression grave. “I’m an alien from beyond the stars, fleeing from my planet that was destroyed when I was but a babe in my cradle. I was adopted as a baby by a simple farmer couple.  This world’s yellow sun gives me ten times the strength of a normal human, and also I can shoot laser beams out of my eyes.”

Alisha blinked slowly, then pressed her fingers delicately to her skull, as if checking for a concussion. Lailah hummed thoughtfully and continued to heal the worst of Alisha’s injuries; saving the rest for when they had privacy.

Malfore squinted as he processed this information. “But…how did you learn to tame the landslide?”

“I grew up on a farm. It was a rock farm. A farm for rocks,” Rose explained, as Edna fed ideas in her ear. “Landslides were a basic occupational hazard. You know how it is.”

Malfore shakily rose to his feet, and dusted himself off. “I was born to one of Rolance’s most ancient and noble houses, so I’m afraid the finer points of farming may be lost on me…but thank you for assisting, visitor from beyond the stars. Had I been alone, I would have been able to best the hellion in perhaps a similar – but more elegant, of course – fashion, but I was too preoccupied with ensuring the safety of you and the Princess Alisha, and, alas, it very nearly spelled the doom of all three of us. My compassion has always been my greatest strength, and my greatest weakness.”

“Yeah, okay,” Rose said. “That’s totally probably what happened. How about we get turned around and get back on the road? I’m sure your bosses in Pendrago will love to hear about you getting this taken care of.”

“Oh, silly thing,” Malfore laughed. “The Shepherd serves no master but the people. But yes, yes, the Shrinechurch will want to hear my report. Do not worry – I will keep your secret safe, and will not speak of your involvement in the incident.”

“Thanks,” Rose said drily. “You’re a real pal.”

“The seraph we saved will follow along with us to the nearest town,” Lailah explained to Rose. “We can perform the necessary steps to install them as Lord of the Land there. They should be able to extend their domain to prevent any further malevolent influence on the sensitive areas of the shipping lanes.”

That, at least, made Alisha smile. Rose sighed and shook her head as they began walking. At least something good came out of this trip.

Though at least now she knew that she could pretty confidently tackle a goat.

I mean, I was excited to learn more about them and stuff when the characters were announced, but like, nothing prepared me for how amazing this bunch of nerds is. Rose is not a nerd but still amazing. Every single one of them surprised me in some pleasant way or the other, so they all count, I guess.

Sora is my spirit animal, except he’s an extrovert. Anyway, I didn’t expect that (did I mention I usually dislike JRPG protagonists? Here, have another example of an exception). Also Kingdom Hearts Squall, whom I like a hundred billion times better than his original game self. Although that’s not particularly difficult.

Plus I more or less successfully taught myself some Irish in school and have been fascinated with ancient and medieval history and more importantly, myth and legend, so I guess my school days self would have gotten along with him very well. Nowadays it’s pretty much gone and I feel and act more like an Edna, though, snarking and dealing out deathglares.


Anyway, the main difference between me and Sorey is probably that I don’t bang my best friend. Okay, actually the main difference is that I’m as introvert as you can get, and a troubled bundle of nerves 24/7. I still don’t bang my best friend, though.

Have I mentioned that Sormik embody all the relationship goals I ever had, and happen to hit pretty much all the romance tropes I love? Have I? HAVE I???  I want to give them my blessing and oversee their wedding vows. I swear somebody must have invaded my mind before writing this game because they wanted to know for sure what would make me week in the knees. I swear I said goodbye to my heart halfway through the game. I generally suspect that somebody in the writing department must have been spying on me because the game in general uses a bit too many of my favourite tropes to not have done this on purpose.


Other than that, I non-romantically ship the entire party because they’re one wonderful slightly dysfunctional family and they make me cry. They’re basically bestest friends on a classtrip with romantic lighting. In case you haven’t gathered that yet because I totally don’t mention that daily, Rose and Sorey are my brotp and I live for platonic male/female relationships because there are too many people out there and too many instances in media that don’t recognize that boys and girls can be really, really good friends without being romantically or sexually involved. Like, wow. WHAT A SHOCKING DISCOVERY.

Can’t really choose a third one, but I do enjoy romantic Rosali (though not as much as Sormik because they don’t hit the right tropes, and because they don’t have much time for proper development; but I’ll never say no to an arguably canon lesbian couple), and other platonic relationships within the party are also wonderful and good and great and please more. Daddy Dezel and Rose, Edna and Lailah, Edna and Zaveid, Edna and Meebo, Zaveid and basically everyone, Sorey and Sergei, you name it. All is good and fine.

I was tagged by @tozettewrites to list ten of my favorite Naruto ships.

I'm with you Toz, it's hard to pick favorites. So here's Five of my favorites, also in no particular order:

-Sakura/Ino: What can I say that Toz didn't say better? I just, I love how they are, at every turn, the source of each others motivation to improve themselves. They are constantly on each others minds. There's a post about a girl who didn't know how to express her crush on another girl as a kid and just wrote her a note saying "Get out of my school" and that always felt so perfect for this ship to me. I imagine they have a lot of laughs about their rivalry when they're older and married.

-Sasuke/Karin: I picked this up mostly from Phoenixyfriend. My take on it is mostly about them being two people who've led awful lives, and found each other as people who can respect the others pain and help them deal with it. Fun fact I once prompted a fic from Phoenixy where the two of them were hired killers who were married, but neither knew the other was an assasin under cover ("Mr. and Mrs. Uchiha") and it was the BEST decision ya'll should read it.

-Hinata/TenTen: I'll admit this isn't one I'd thought of until I'd seen some AMAZING art. Just, Hinata respects TenTen's work ethic and skill, her courage and her so solid confidence. Meanwhile TenTen sees this soft polite girl and the silk covered steel she really is.

-Shikamaru/Chouji: They're the calmest, sweetest, most stable pair of boyfriends in konoha. They have this quiet unshakeable faith in each other. They’re a couple whose relationship is defined by calm days and shared meals, not grand gestures or fancy dates. My favorite idea is that Shikamaru spends weeks agonizing about how to finally ask Chouji out, while the entire time Chouji is certain they’re already dating.

-Shino/TenTen: Wait what is this? TenTen is in more than one of my favorite ships? How can this be? Well other than obvious polyship potential, one thing being good does not in any way detract from ANOTHER thing being ALSO good. As for the ship itself, to me the dynamic is defined by a fic from way back "The Middle Ground" on ff.net. It has been quite a long while since I read it, but it's full of teasing, sparring, and dry humor. 

there are more but they’re pretty much just shipping Ino, Hinata, and TenTen with some combination of each other. As for people to tag, @phoenixyfriend I know toz already tagged you but here’s my vote as well. @swiftkickmuses, @succlordslayer69 (Only if you want to obviously no pressure)(Enbi your url I can’t even) And if anybody else wants to weigh in on this, absolutely do so and tag me so I can read :D Also feel free to include any fic recs that you have for your favorite ships too!
