Lee Rang DESERVED that he almost had all that!!#Tale of the Nine Tailed spoilers#Tale of the Nine Tailed#TOTNT spoilers#Lee Rang#Ki Yu Ri#Ki Yoo Ri#Kim Soo Ho#Gu Shin Joo#TOTNT 1x16#spoilers#kdrama#it's such a weak writing choice especially when it didn't need to happen at all#Lee Yeon could've reincarnated. they could've full circled Ji ah waiting for HIM this time and then have him reborn as a human#this was a weak ass choice where everyone apparently should fall by the wayside to give the main characters everything#and frankly the mains didn't grow at all. i can't even say 'they deserve this!! give it all up to make them happy!!' bc i just don't care#like sure ok be happy but damn i just don't care. and i highly resent the fact that everyone else needs to risk it all for them#tumblring by moonlight#i don't think all traumatized characters deserve/need plot armor some (like Xue Yang) are still terrible and their death makes sense#but there are too many moments where traumatized characters that deserve the world are offed instead of being allowed to heal and be happy#and i HATE that#Evie watches Tale of the Nine Tailed#Evie watches#Evie watches TOTNT

I've watched a lot of dramas this year but this is the first one so far that has disappointed me this much with the writing choices ngl
#i'm frustrated bc it started out promising and they had good actors but the writing... sometimes i was just getting thru it#and they end it like that.... thinking doing [redacted] to [character redacted] was a strong writing choice.... i hate it#Tale of the Nine Tailed spoilers#Tale of the Nine Tailed#TOTNT#Evie watches Tale of the Nine Tailed#Evie watches#tumblring by moonlight#kdrama#TOTNT 1x16#lee dong wook and kim bum and all the other cast members just can't save a show that has lackluster writing honestly#there were moments i genuinely liked but overall? i don't think it was very good at all#maybe this show will get a 7 or 7.5 from me idk yet just for those moments i did like esp ep 8 and 9#but the mains sometimes frustrated me. they didn't change i felt. and the side couple was basically just slapped together?#and then the 1 character they sought to develop.... they off. and for WHAT?
