JAKARTA - Sebagai post event dalam rangka melanjutkan momentum dari Internationale Tourismus Borse (ITB) Berlin, Kementerian Pariwisata melakukan Sales mission di Eropa Area III. Kegiatan ini diadakan selama 4 hari, yakni tanggal 12-15 Maret 2019.
Deputi Bidang Pengembangan Pemasaran II Kemenpar Nia Niscaya mengatakan, Sales Mission digelar di tiga negara, yaitu di Copenhagen Marriott Hotel, Denmark (12 Maret); Courtyard by Marriott, Brussels, Belgia (14 Maret); dan di Ron Gastrobar Downtown, Amsterdam, Belanda (15 Maret).
“Kegiatan ini kami gelar untuk menghasilkan potensi selling yang maksimal. Selain itu, biaya promosi yang dikeluarkan oleh partner industri pariwisata kita juga lebih efisien sehingga mampu meningkatkan aktivitas bisnis mereka,” ujarnya, Kamis (28/3).
Dalam rangkaian Sales Mission tersebut, Kementerian Pariwisata bekerja sama dengan 9 industri pariwisata Indonesia yang terdiri dari 9 operator tour. Yaitu DMC Tour, DMV Holiday Tour, Ravelino Tour & Travel, Azimuth Adventure Travel Ltd, Dewi Wisata Tour and Travel, Happy Trails Asia, NTT DMC (PT. Flores Komodo Tours), Layanan Perjalanan Semesta, dan Resor Puri Bagus Villa - PT Bagus Discovery.
“Kami menargetkan jumlah pembeli dari masing-masing kota sebanyak 30 orang di Kopenhagen, 25 orang di Brussels, dan 80 orang di Amsterdam. Maskapai penerbangan Garuda Indonesia, Qatar Airways, dan China Airlines juga berpartisipasi di Brussels dan Amsterdam,” jelasnya.
Adapun rangkaian kegiatan Sales Mission meliputi presentasi update pariwisata Indonesia, presentasi produk terbaru oleh penjual, table top, pertunjukan seni, distribusi bahan promosi, jaringan dan keahlian memasak Indonesia.
Direktur Pengembangan Pemasaran II Regional IV Agustini Rahayu menambahkan, Kemenpar telah melakukan strategi 'Shifting to The Front' yang mempercepat semua langkah promosi sejak Januari hingga Maret 2019. “Fokus dari Sales Mission tersebut adalah presentasi dari destinasi yang ada. Yaitu 10 destinasi branding dengan 10 Bali Baru. Meliputi Danau Toba, Tanjung Selayang, Tanjung Lesung, Kepulauan Seribu & Kota Tua, Borobudur, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru, Mandalika, Labuhan Bajo, Wakatobi dan Morotai,” bebernya.
Dikatakan Agustini, pengenalan tujuan yang ada masih menjadi prioritas di Denmark dan Belgia. Sedangkan untuk pasar Belanda, pengenalan 10 Bali Baru sangat penting karena turis negara ini tidak lagi tertarik pada tujuan wisata utama.
Menurutnya, pasar Belanda harus terus diperbarui tentang tujuan alternatif yang menawarkan atraksi baru dan inovatif. Selain itu, demografi wisatawan telah bergeser, membuat Wonderful Indonesia harus mengejar ketinggalan dengan selera wisatawan muda atau milenial. Mereka sangat menyukai destinasi baru dan ingin menjadi yang pertama menjelajahi destinasi tersebut.
Menteri Pariwisata Arief Yahya mengungkapkan, memasuki tahap akhir pencapaian 20 juta wisman pada tahun 2019, pihaknya telah meluncurkan strategi pemasaran bernama Super Extra Ordinary Programme. Strategi utama ini mencakup Wisata Perbatasan (Crossborder Tourism), Wisata Hub (Tourism Hub), dan Terminal Biaya Rendah atau Low cost terminal (LCT).
Untuk Crossborder Tourism, strategi ini menggunakan kedekatan geografis seperti Batam-Bintan dengan Singapura, Malaysia dan Thailand. Kemudian Manado dengan Filipina; serta Atambua, NTT, dan Kupang dengan Papua New Gini dan Timor Leste. Target pasar ini lebih mudah, lebih cepat dan lebih murah untuk mencapai tujuan di Indonesia.
Sedangkan untuk Wisata Hub, strateginya adalah "memancing di kolam ikan tetangga". Artinya, menarik wisatawan asing yang sudah di hub regional seperti Singapura, Kuala Lumpur, dan Thailand untuk melanjutkan liburan ke Indonesia. Strategi ini sebagai tanggapan terhadap kurangnya kursi dan penerbangan langsung dari negara asal ke Indonesia.
Strategi terakhir yaitu LCT, dimaksudkan untuk mendukung maskapai berbiaya rendah (LCC) untuk beroperasi di Indonesia. LCC adalah kunci kesuksesan karena menyumbang 20% dari kunjungan wisatawan asing. Selain itu, pertumbuhannya lebih besar daripada penyedia layanan penuh (FSC).
“Beberapa LCT yang sedang dikembangkan menjadi Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) adalah Terminal 1 dan 2 Bandara Soekarno-Hatta dan Banyuwangi,” pungkasnya.(*)
