hey so, me (dm), hedwyn @gaygolathanian , kyle @gayghost , and our friend ruby are playing dnd together, and weve been playing for a few months now and have decided to share some of it.
ive converted this into a viewable google doc for accessibility
everyone got a chance to introduce their characters to the world for a bit, so parts 2 and 3 will come soon, and if they get enough attention, ill continue sharing what i lovingly call; The Misfits Three play D&D
#TMT#DND#D&D#TMTpD&D#mine#should i tag characters that appear?#hmm#maybe if this becomes big enough ill go back and do that

Do you find writing characters in DND more enjoyable or easy when compared to other formats?
oh its definitely easier considering if youre dming you probably already have a plot to work towards with all your npc interactions and your characters can handle a lot of conversation for you, and even if they dont, give you some stuff to work off of.
at the same time, that can backfire and your character can pull out something totally unexpected but thats the fun of the game
i suppose writing in a more traditional format is easier for the long haul, planning character arcs and interactions, but dnd is better for capturing personality and developing characters in the moment

Which one of your OC's is the most like you? And vice versa?
reni, if the name similarities werent enough to give it away, is most like me. shes is quite literally just me, in the story, with in story reasons to act like me and be aloof and kinda detached from the plot while still being a huge part of it, ie. being a shopkeeper
as for most different... idk. a lot of them are just one asset of myself funneled through a different personality so i can still portray them accurately. or if not, they dont really have enough time “on screen” as it were to develop a personality.
if i had to pick, id say able. hes a uh, skeleton and in the lore of aftermath the first person to die and reach the afterlife. hes fairly witty and surprisingly talkative, but is rather stoic and guarded in his reactions and emotions.

!!!!!! Tell me about which character you're most passionate in writing! And why! Pwease?
able and liv are a pretty private writing kind of thing, but, so far, i love the dynamic ive established between them and the way they can riff off each other
in terms of dnd, i believe edward, the brother of nadia, is quite fun to right. hes a huge doofus but has all the backing and traits to provide relevant plot points to my players.

which of your npcs is your favorite!!
i cant have a favorite npc, thatd be unfair to the othersbut its either reni, witch and shopekeeper, and my icon, her spouse, a tiefling tinkerer, or nadia, a high elf and uh. i suppose guild founder is an appropriate term.
