PIZZAFIRE VAN – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) – Mutant Mayhem

So one weekend, my husband and I visited my parents in the old family home for a small gathering for my youngest brother's (12 years apart from me) birthday.

Halfway through the meal, my dad suddenly jumped from his seat and told me he found several things from my childhood and if I would like to keep them. He then went to the garage.

He came back a few minutes later with a bunch of old posters, drawings and....this toy.

Now this is the old school, first TMNT merchandise my other younger brother and I ever own. It's the PIZZA THROWER. 

It's missing a lot of things, being buried amongst other stuff when we moved houses....it's missing the chair on top where the turtle would sit on to propel the mechanism, the pizza 'bullets' and the small flag. I am not sure if I can get it to work, but my husband is a whiz with machines so he will try and see if a few fixin' here and there might do the trick. 

I was 6 years old when my dad bought this toy. It was intended for my other younger brother, who was 4 years old (we are two years apart before the third one came 12 years later) and then I remember being so enamored with the machine, I kept hogging it from him, to the point I was using my dolls as targets. Loads of fun spent with this toy I tell you.

Once a shellhead always a shellhead.

Now I am thinking of buying some of the TMNT 2012 toys just for the heck of it.
