The last Ronin finds himself in a place that he’s never seen before

a place all too different

a place all too familiar

when he first sees the Rise counterparts he lashes out

it’s wrong it’s all wrong

where was he? Who were they? They weren’t- … were they?

his next thought is to believe that he’s dead, he must’ve died? He was just in battle?

he lets the Counterparts take him back to their lair

was this heaven? Or Hell? Would he forever be tormented by the semi familiar faces of those who were not quite family? Imitating those he lost? Was this his grand punishment for his ultimate failure?

he stays quiet, follows the pack, doesn’t answer the millions of questions being thrown at him

These may not be his brothers but they sure did remind him of them, names, personalities

a naïve youthful joy he hadn’t seen in years, almost decades now
