I just had this thought and i can't get it out of my head so i have to share it. Chanbig but hanahaki disease. So like Big is in love with Kinn and develops a hanahaki disease, chan obvs knows and he tries to help him. Idk like "love me, i will love you back and then you could live" or smth like that. However Big doesn't really get over Kinn so he take bullet for Porsche cuz he is gonna die anyway whats the point of living yk. And then. And THEN!!! Chan wakes up couple of days later caughing up flower petals(this last part is optional, depends how sad you wanna be).... do i hate myself? Yes

YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD BE WORSE? chan knows exactly why he’s coughing up petals and who is the cause of it. arm is the first person who knows because of course arm knows (that's why his head is so big, it's full of secrets). he was showing chan something in his dank little armoury basement when chan suddenly has a violent coughing fit. he pulls his hand away and stray petals slip through his fingers. chan has this resigned looked that hides anything else he may be feeling and arm looks at him stunned, the puzzle pieces falling very quickly and very saddeningly into place in that all-knowing head of his. and the picture it's painting is a tragic one of a colleague who isn't in the picture anymore.

pol is there too (because of course he is, they're boyfriends your honour) and he sees this. now pol knows what hanahaki disease is but he doesn't know much more than that. he steps forward and tries to comfort chan by saying, "it's okay, there's still hope that they might like you back."

arm winces at the comment, hoping their superior doesn't shoot pol point blank because whilst he may be an idiot, he's arm's idiot and arm loves his idiot very much. but chan doesn't move. he just looks at pol with that stern gaze and the young bodyguard shrinks.

but chan knows he can't be loved back if the other is dead.
