can we have a conversation, personal opinion-based or otherwise, about good treehouse of horror segments in otherwise lackluster/disappointing/bad treehouse of horror episodes because i am TIRED. i love the segment in thoh xxvi that's a parody of chronicle because i loved that movie and they do it so much to my liking but i couldn't care less about the rest of the episode. also i love the coralisa segment of thoh xxviii but the mmm homer one genuinely makes my skin crawl

#like the first time i saw that last one i mentioned i didn't know the simpsons COULD MAKE ME FEEL that uncomfortable i find it SO CREEPY
