hi! love your art and all of your interpretations of splatbands- a lot of your characterizations are super refreshing. anyways, im curious, how did ikkan and warabi first react when they realized they had a crush on eachother? :p im pretty sure you said somewhere that warabi was the first to catch feelings- how did he go about that? did he keep it cool or was he more panicked?

It is very hard to explain how their romance develops, it's a lot of ups and downs and Ikkan doesn't develop a crush on Warabi until like a year or two from the creation of Diss-pair.

Warabi on the other hand... He is also a very complex character and also goes through a lot of heavy ups and down. He and a friend of his were super fans of Squid Squad in their peak era, he had Ikkan heavy idolized, after he contacted him he also had to see him as a bussiness opportunity. Later he saw him like a total jerk and alm his good old memories shattered. But I guess it was all a misunderstanding, Warabi saw something, SOMETHING so similar in that old friend of his that he just got obsessed with him. He didn't panicked on the outside, it was more of a extreme internal conflict of many ugly feelings. And this started a very strange chapter of Diss-pair where on Ikkan's eyes he looked like the total jerk trying to show off things while on Warabi perspective it was a failing mission to comunicate his mashed up feelings.
